I really went back and forth here between 3 and 4 stars... Which truthfully was the hype around Boon Choo has been very hight that I had high expectations. The space is warm and inviting, on a cold winter night it was still cozy inside. It is small though so either make a reservation or be aware you may need to wait. Service was attentive thought out the meal, checking in periodically and refreshing our water glasses consistently. Food was overall decent. I would place it "average" to the popular Thai places in Boston. I would say the portions trend to the smaller size so we ended up getting an appetizer after our mains. Spice was also good for me, a spice lover. If you are spice sensitive you probably want to ask if they get make it more mild then intended.

We tried Boon Choo for the first time and it didn't disappoint. It was packed when we arrived so we sat at a bar. It's a small and cozy place. Staff were friendly and prompt even though it was busy. The drink menu was great! I tried Street Tea, it was strong but tasty. For food, ordered tom yum soup, chicken satay, pad see you, moo yang & pumpkin custard (only dessert option). The food was delish. The pad see you noodles were memorable, chewy and had the at wok taste. We wanted more noods and the chicken was moist. I would have given Boon Choo 5 stars had they have more desserts on the menu and fish for protein selection. There was only one dessert on the menu but that was not available (mango sticky rice). Overall, it will be a repeat spot for us.

I recently stopped by Boon Choo Thai Kitchen and left seriously impressed with how comforting yet flavorful everything was. I started with the wings, which came out beautifully crispy with a light golden crust and a juicy center -- the kind where each bite gives you that satisfying crunch followed by tender, well-seasoned chicken. The Thai spices added a subtle kick while the sauce balanced things with a hint of sweetness, making them incredibly addictive. The chicken across the dishes tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, never dry, and clearly marinated with care so the flavor went beyond the surface. My favorite of the night was the pad Thai -- the noodles had that perfect chewy texture and were coated in a rich tamarind sauce that hit all the right notes of sweet, tangy, and savory without feeling heavy. Tossed with crunchy peanuts and fresh bean sprouts, every bite felt balanced and comforting. Between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and standout dishes like the wings and pad Thai, this meal felt like a reliable go-to spot I'd happily return to whenever I'm craving satisfying Thai comfort food nearby.

I just adore this place! its so cute and cozy and the staff work so hard making your experience pleasant. I can't say enough! We had the eggplant app of course- its so unique and delicious. Then we had Pad Woon Sen with shrimp- soooooo good! and the Moo Yang with a lovely tamarind sauce and sticky rice. The cocktails were beautiful and tasty. Even when it is super busy the service is cheerful and wonderful. How the kitchen cranks out all the takeout AND keeps the dining room happy- is a work of magic!

It's great! Go. Had the Tom Kha chicken soup, Pad Woon Sen, and the Tom Yum Noodle Soup...all were cooked perfectly and as good as Thailand. Lots of folks doing take away orders but the restaurant has a nice fresh vibe. Foodie "GO."

Saw the 5* reviews and decided to checkout Boon Choo, was bit disappointed. The menu offered limited choices. We ordered the Pad See wee with chicken and Green curry with fried tofu. Both items were low in flavor and low on heat as well eventhough we ordered spice level 3. The pad see wee had a heavy smoky flavor suggesting it got a bit burnt. The Green curry was very oily and watery. The pickup service was prompt and the restaurant has a big parking lot upfront.

Newly opened and very good. The bar and the seating were super cute. I especially loved the glass light fixtures over the bar that looked like flowers. Actually all the glassware was beautiful as loved the water glasses and the glasses the flowers were in too. I got a garlic stir fry with chicken and it was great - the sauce was sweet and nice. My husband got the green curry which he also liked. The portions are like normal home dinner portions. We came in as they were opening at 4 and there was a lot of new restaurant excitement. Both the staff and the people coming in after us seemed in extra good spirits.... which probably contributed to me getting dessert, a Pumpkin Custard, which was also quite good. We thought about getting a cocktail but decided it was too early. Hope to try the Thai Old Fashioned some day. We had a great time. Easy to get to and has it's own parking - a low stress evening.

Small authentic Thai restaurant in a shopping strip in Sharon on S Main St. Pretty close to 95 and worth the drive. Totally awesome! Close enough to me that I can sneak out for lunch and be back at my desk and not skip a beat. Everything about this place is first class. From the napkins to the bowls, the plate presentation, the decor, the service and best of all the food. We always get fresh rolls, and they were yummy, peanut sauce was terrific. Next was the crispy eggplant appetizer special not on the menu however our great waitress said it was delicious; I was mesmerized by her genuine nature and let me say it was so deliciously crispy with a nice dipping sauce that it now ranks in my top 5 appetizers of any kind. Blown away! We got chicken satay with a great peanut sauce different from the fresh roll sauce. Perfectly cooked moist plump breast meat heaven. It was only lunch but I ordered a Pad Thai with tofu dinner portion as it was only a couple bucks more, but I was pretty full so ate a small bit and took the rest home. I ate the rest that night, There is small bar and a nice cocktail menu for another time. Hoping the pictures do the review justice. Easiest 5 star ever,

This is a gem - we are so excited to have discovered Boon Choo! We were so busy eating our takeout meal at home we didn't take any pictures - except this delightful leftover pepper seed (that's how fresh and devine it was!) Food was cooked to perfection, super fresh vegetables and appetizers were all on point. Best Thai food within the Canton area

I adored coming to Boon Choo. This is hands down the best Thai place my friends and I have ever been to! We've been to several Thai places (in Mass & California) but this place takes the gold star. The service was 15/10, the restaurant itself is beautiful and super organized, and the food was epic. We were all so surprised by how much flavor everything had, and everything was so fresh. We'll definitely be coming back!

It came with a complimentary PILE of thin pickle slices and pickled onions and they threw in a cornbread with a honey butter. The rub on the ribs was delicious in it's own right, and both barbeque sauces were a joy. There was a more traditional zingy barbeque sauce and a sweeter one. The pickles made me very very happy. The corn bread and butter was honestly the star though - I was so surprised. Corn bread is not an automatic favorite for me, by any means. We ordered at the take away counter, but we ate in and were given full table service. Once we got past our confusion regarding the table service it was very pleasant. The eating area was cute. I love the cow wall paper (and the chicken wallpaper in the bathroom) But the bench seating was a little weird and a little too high for the table. Everything is à la carte in the ordering is a bit confusing: your first order is over-the-counter, but additional items may be ordered through a server. -- Ribs: Full spareribs with the tips intact and a nice taper at the edges. Creative presentation as individual bones stacked up, with lime wedges and herbs. Very coarse Texas style rub that had bold, captivating peppery flavor, but a little ashy from either a long hold or a reheat. Cross sections dry, though moist inside. Tender and somewhat smoky. Very good, but these would be killer if fresh. -- Wings: Smoked and fried, served naked by design, with sauces on the side. A little Shake-and-Bake-like, not that moist, and not that flavorful. Like a poor man's Rusty Can wings. -- Brisket: This seemed relatively fresh, but cookled quickly. Quality varied greatly depending on which slice you took and where you bit. Some bites perfect. Some bites dry. All had impactful flavor from both rub and smoke. Good bark, good tenderness and wobble, at least on the parts from the point. -- Pulled Pork: Molded into a gray and depressing softball, but it felt and tasted better than it looked. Most of it luscious and moist, though borderline mushy and could use some firmer or barkier pieces for contrast. Flavor subtle. Not that warm. -- Sausage: This house-made link gushed juices on contact and had screaming flavor and great texture (soft, hinting at pebbly, but still intact), but barely room temperature. Would've been elite if warmer. -- Coleslaw: Decent. Crisp, lightly dressed, neither sweet nor tart. Fairly tame. -- Cornbread: Fantastic coarse texture and brown butter flavor, but a little on the stiff side. Molasses butter on the side was like a frosting and it worked fabulously. I'd pay to know when I can have a hot one. -- Sauces: They've got a dark brown barbecue and a red tangy one. Both are pretty good, but better when mixed. -- Service: Mostly young kids doing the order taking and food running, and all were very nice. Overall, I'd say the meal was good for sure, but this place has so much potential to be great. If a few things were a little warmer or a little fresher, they'd be among the top handful in New England. Even as-is, they're not too far off.

It was achingly cold outside, and the bar was absolutely packed, so I was seated in a somewhat remote corner. I soon learned that the particular seafood entrees (2 in particular) were sold out, and I ended up with a salad (kind of unremarkable, but again, not inedible). The problem is that I ended up abandoned by the waitress, so no desserts, no additional drinks, and no check. I literally had to wander about the restaurant for at least 5 to 10 minutes just to ask for someone (anyone!) to bring me a check, which eventually arrived. On my way out, I told the hostess that they should try to keep an eye on patrons, as (if I were not of some moral principles) one could simply leave without paying.
