I've been meaning to try this place for some time, and NOW I wish I had tried it sooner! It's GREAT! The Spicy Pad Thai with chicken was spot on--and loaded with (yep!) CHICKEN!! I actually would have liked a few more noodles, but that's a minor thing. My sig other had the Drunken Noodles with chicken, and he said they were awesome. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent, too -- super friendly and attentive. Now for my totally off-the-wall comment: This place was SPOTLESS!! And I mean CLEAN! You could practically eat off the bathroom floor, it was so clean. Normally, I don't really notice things like that, but here...it honestly looked like the place had JUST opened. Super impressed overall, and definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of their other dishes. The menu is pretty extensive, so there's plenty more to try! read more

Great apps. Decent entree. Great service. Great vibe. The dumplings are what i call "the right kind" of dumplings at thai restaurants. Delicious. The chicken satay was delicious and tender, and their peanut sauce is really good also. I got the gai gra prow which was ok. It was not my fav version of this dish. It was really saucy but also it did not have a lot of heat. That said, I will definitely be back to try other dishes! read more

Stopped here after catching a game at nearby Dean College when we had a hankering for Thai food. It's a cozy, clean spot tucked into the Franklin Village strip mall. Huge menu for lunch with tasty and delicious staples. Service was attentive and quick. Prices were a bit high for lunch. However, Portions were dinner size and we were stuffed after sharing one entree between us. read more

Three of us went for dine-in dinner. The service was great and our apps and dinners were fantastic! One of us was vegan and he had no problem finding something delicious on the menu. The servers there were very friendly! I will definitely return. read more

I did not like the taste of the food I purchased here several months ago but was waiting to leave a review until I gave them another chance and tried some different dishes. Was thinking of ordering again today and came here to see what folks recommended. After looking at reviews here and seeing the owner's rude and horrible responses, I have zero interest in coming back to this place. I've never seen an owner so publicly alienate themselves like this. It's wild and terrible to see. Didn't scroll through all the reviews to see what other horrible things she said. Also when I did order the first time, my food took about 50 minutes. I had called in ahead of time and arrived 30 min later, but still had to wait in store for another 20 min. It wasn't worth it it. Highly recommend Thai Tamarind in Westborough. I've had so many of their dishes and none have disappointed. read more

I am not a local to the area but I did enjoy the food a lot. Was not disappointed in the food or the service. We went on an afternoon around the holidays (a day or two after Christmas) during the week and the place was not packed. We were actually the only customers. Our food came out fast. The restaurant is in a plaza with several other businesses so parking is shared. We didn't have a problem getting parking close enough to the restaurant. I would definitely dine there again or order to go from there. read more

wonton soup was oily and broth had no flavor. wontons were OK. Green curry had hardly any flavor. This is my favorite dish and I have ordered it in many Thai restaurants. I have never had bland tasteless green curry like this before. The chicken noodle soup, was very bland, the chicken was fine, the noodles were fine, just the broth was super bland, and tasteless. I used to eat at the Pepper Terrace a lot many years ago. I'm sorry to say it's not as good as it used to be. read more

Since I grew up in Franklin, MA 02038 this restaurant has been a staple for our family. I recently went here on one of the best dates with my partner and it was so nice as the restaurant was quiet, peaceful, and the lights were dimmed low which added a nice touch to our evening together especially after a long tough day working for us both. The staff are super friendly, super kind, and super helpful. The food is delicious - i ate the perfect meal that helped me get over a touch of a cold. I love their soups as well as their rice-based entrees. It's a great spot if you have food sensitivities as there are many options - and especially if you're vegan! My family and friends have also dined here and gotten takeout and we all walk away happier and healthier. read more

Just ok. I was craving Thai curry and ordered the mango curry (chicken). The meat was dry and overcooked. I've had much better and wouldn't recommend this dish. Not sure if I'll try this place again. Update: Definitely won't try it again. The restaurant's immature and unprofessional response to my honest review shows me that they are not an establishment that should get my business. read more

Not a lot of places to grab Thai food in the area but this didn't disappoint. I got the chicken red curry. The flavor was awesome and it came out nice and hot. The curry could have been more spicy but they had sauces to add to adjust spice I was just too lazy to ask for them. The curry had plenty of vegetables including tri-colored peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and broccoli. It was fresh and awesome ! Enough for two meals for me. Service was also fast. read more

Got pad Thai was delicious and I have had this dish at many places this was by far the tastiest

I admit that I was a fool and tried this restaurant again for the last time. The seeming greed and shamelessness of the owner, manager or cook is beyond the pale. I ordered a take-out of chicken satay, tom yum shrimp soup, and rainbow fried rice with tofu. I was dismayed after the busy drive home, to find a pitiful, over-sour tom yum made with water, not broth, one lone tomato wedge, past sell-by-date mushrooms, and two small shrimp, $10.75. Unbelievable. The fried rice with tofu and vegetables, $12.95, were an outrage of flavorless, greasy rice, no tofu, and overlooked, limp vegetables. And one tiny cherry tomato. I called the restaurant to complain. "Sorry, that's how it is." The satay was safe and thankfully average. In big black letters, on their takeout menu, I wrote, "Never Again" just to remind me in a moment of laziness. Very indicative response from the owner/mgmt. see below. read more

We went at lunch with 4 other people. Regrettably 3 out of our party were dissatisfied. How can a Thai restaurant have no sticky rice?. Ordered the Appatizer sampler and were told we couldn't get it with no further explanation. I personally enjoyed the flavor and will return to give them another chance. read more

Worst pad see ew I've ever had. A bed of soggy dissolving noodles in a clear broth of some sort with cabbage, carrots, and giant pieces of broccoli dumped on top. Mango sticky rice has no coconut milk on top, just dry rice and sliced mango. Genuinely embarrassing excuse for Thai food. read more

Great place to grab a bite. Also, Great take out, make sure to plan ahead. Shrimp in a blanket and crispy pad Thai are good.

Usually get takeout but dined in tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed the Imperial noodles and cashew madness with chicken and brown rice. The Rangoons with crab and avocado are a nice variation. Excellent bubble tea. Try the ginger honey ice tea. So good! Attentive and friendly service too. read more

Still love Pepper Terrace - but they need to offer half portions or something. I love the Spicy Fried Rice and the Pad Thai and usually we add something else - but then it gets over $30-$40 So half portions in 2011 PT!! :) read more

Had dinner a few times, have good consitancy of quality here. Dumplings are good (home made as far as I can tell) and drunken noodle is good - drunken noodle has massive amount of veggie in it, which kinda water down the taste a little. The lady working behind the counter is so nice, I went in very last one night, closing in 15 minutes, yet she got my order taken and fed me even though it was closing time. read more

I literally have 0 idea what they put in their soy sauce but it is MAGICAL. Fried pork dumplings are excellent and always cooked to perfection. Never over or under cooked. The most off putting, foul smelling, badly executed food that I have had in a long time. The first set of crispy rolls were still frozen on the inside, When replaced they came out hot and tasteless. Very authentic Thai food! The service is always nice and kind. However, the chef is alway not in a good mood and not willing to adjust customer's' spicy level requests. It might be the reason how they could consistently remain the authenticity. But not too friendly to those who are just about to try and enjoy Thai food. read more

Every meal I've ordered here has been great! I have visited A LOT of Thai places & this is in my top 5.

Super tasting food here. Great sauces, really clean and crisp. Not heavy. We love their appetizers, and the shrimp and chicken meals are excellent. Fried items aren't overly done, just right, light and tasty. I have never been disappointed here. The service is good too, they really care about the product. read more

food was terrible. my order was wrong. vibe was just off. I went to complain and they did not fix anything.

I discovered this restaurant by accident. I was traveling, when my stomach reminded me that I hadn't eaten in a while, and I saw a sign for a local Panera's. When I arrived in the shopping plaza, I accidentally stumbled upon this place. The signage is very indescript and it is very easy to miss, however, I was very happy to discover it. I ordered a very delicious vegetarian pan-fried tofu and vegetable stir-fry that was prepared in a Thai basil sauce. The food was really good, the service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Additionally, the entree was under 10 bucks. I look forward to going back again. read more

First time trying this place out. Tried the Spicy Pad Thai and Red Curry w/ beef. The Pad Thai was pretty delicious and it was not overly spicy, just enough to add that little extra something to the dish. Red Curry was solid as well, that on the other hand though I wish had just a little bit oomph to it. I would recommend this place to satisfy your Thai Cravings if your in the Franklin area. read more

What a wonderful dinner, our large party was accommodated with ease. The appetizers were flawless and simply delicious. The main entrees from pad thai, yellow curry to some spicier selections were all delivered to the table piping hot and tasty. Didn't like the taste of the Teriyaki Chicken, thought it was too sweet and didn't want to eat the rest. When we expressed this they said it was Thai style and made it feel like it was our fault for ordering. We asked them to take it off the bill but they refused. It would have shown good customer service to take it off. Now they lost a customer. They rather have a dissatisfied customer pay 16.95 for the dish they don't like then to take it off and satisfy a customers I was surprised to see they have an undisclosed charge called tax rounding, which is totally petty on their part, are they that stingy they have to round their taxes. I have not encountered too many restaurants that do this. I work in the travel industry and I wont recommend this place to my clients if they ask read more
