Time for Thai was in a plaza right across the street from the fire and Police station. The place is very nicely decorated and perfectly put together. We were greeted instantly and took a while to look over the menus. The appetizers came out and they were presented absolutely beautiful. The scallion pancake was delicious and my friend had some dumplings that she enjoyed. Each of us had a chicken and beef spicy dish with rice and the dinner was delicious. The food was fresh and the portion was plentiful. I had plenty of extra for lunch the next day. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. This is the coziest little Thai restaurant that we've ever had the pleasure of dining in. The decor and ambiance are so soothing and unique. The menu offers a solid range options with a lovely photo menu of specials. We sampled from both and everything was absolutely delicious! The presentation is so special and thoughtful... live flowers in the drinks with tiny paper roses in the straws! The food was amazing and the prices are beyond reasonable! Located at the Shops In The Pines, Time For Thai (former Qi Ming Dynasty) is casual Thai restaurant serving lunch and dinner, full service dining in or takeout. They offer lunch specials until 3pm on weekdays only. The place is cozy with table seating along the left and right walls and the counter in the back. I stopped by here for dinner takeout very recently. I ordered the Pad See You ($14.40 plus tax) and Steamed Pork Dumplings ($7.45 plus tax). My order was all set in about 10 minutes after ordering. The Pad See You had mostly a mix of stir-fried chicken, shrimp with tails, egg, broccoli, snow peas, and carrots with minimal soft flat noodles (chow foon). The Steamed Pork Dumplings were on the small bitsize side, balls of ground pork mix with minimal soft wrap, ginger sauce for dipping. The food I ordered was overall was hot and fresh. Discovered this restaurant after seeing several well-designed and thoughtful social media posts on local pages. I learned that this hidden gem has been in Norton for only a year! Online ordering was very easy with many tempting choices, each with options for customization. I ordered the Fiery Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp and 1+ extra spice. It was ready for pick-up when I arrived to the restaurant 15-20 minutes after placing the order. The restaurant was very clean, the ambience was soothing, and the service was incredibly polite! For the price ($15), the Fiery Pad Thai was PACKED with loads of noodles, peppers, chicken, and shrimp. The flavor was absolutely divine (maybe a tad bit spicy - but that's my fault for adding extra spice!). Every bite was sweet, spicy, and savory, each more enjoyable than the last. I'm already thinking about the leftovers that I'll be having tomorrow! I'll be back to Time for Thai. They have themselves a new regular! read more

We walked inside and it was so cute! Great decor, we were immediately seated. I had low expectations for a Thai food place in Norton, MA and I was pleasantly proven wrong. The food was phenomenal, best curry I've ever had (lots of curry to veggie ratio). 11/10. Slightly pricey, but portion size and quality was worth it- we paid $50 for two curries and edamame. The three of us give this place six thumbs up. It is warm and inviting as well as neat and tidy. The menu has plenty of options without being overwhelming. I chose the tom yum soup and a larb salad. The soup was delicious, meaty, and so substantial that I took almost all of the salad home. The soup was very spicy which suits my taste buds just fine. In fact I Loved it so much I ordered a spare to enjoy later. My daughter is celiac and the menu offers a plethora of gluten free options, clearly annotated, something we always appreciate. She is also a connoisseur of yellow chicken curry, and declared it the best ever displacing her lifelong favorite Thai restaurant. All curries are characterized as spicy but they were able to tone it down perfectly for her mild preference so everyone's spice tolerance was accommodated. The fresh rolls were exceptionally fresh, visually appealing, and flavorful. My husband who had the hot basil said he would be happy to drive out of his way to pick up takeout on his way home from work. He said he foresees us having much more Time for Thai. He was very pleased with his lame dad pun but in this case I agree. Oh and lastly the hot Thai jasmine green tea was great too and perfect for the chilly days ahead. The food is average Thai for the area, which means it's good. No complaints. The problem with this place is they think you should pay an extra 20% for take out. It's the default tip setting when you order online and it's automatically applied to your total. If you happen to notice the sneaky addition, you have to go back and remove it. I can't help but wonder if they do something to the food when someone does that. They probably don't ... probably. No server tip for take out, unless there Is something exceptional about how the person hands me the bag. read more
