Let's get down to the Pladder. It was 38 bucks and had O-rings AND Fries and Fish and Scallops and Clam Strips as well as FBCs and Shrimps and it was wicked kankle and thunder-thigh inducing. Simply immense and even daintily adorned with a fresh flower. The fried batter was not at all greasy and was light and floury as opposed to heavy and oily. This Pladder is not for gastronomic wussies and is most certainly not to be trifled with, bro. My One had a Quahog Stuffie and got The Twins. Nice n' fresh since they got a live tank here, bro. Service is good here and prices are quite reasonable as well, bro. This was by far the mostest biggest Seafood Pladder I have encountered in my 60 years of sowing down Pladders. Peep it out, YELPers. Honestly I don't know why this place is not more crowded. We were 3 out of 7 people eating here. That made me rethink about having lunch here. I'm so glad we stayed. The food was delicious! I ordered the cup of white clam chowder, it was creamy and thick with huge pieces of clams, and chunks of potatoes. Prefect for a cool fall afternoon. Also ordered the fried calamari. I stopped by this spot for lunch since I was in the taste for seafood. When I initially arrived, I had a leftover coffee and wasn't allowed to bring it in. Once I finished it outside, I came back in and was seated right away. I ended up getting the clam chowder and fish sandwich w/ broccoli. The clam chowder was ok. The twin lobsters are very reasonable here they was good but I highly recommend if you're hey have the 2 lb special to get that because it will be more meat. The twin lobsters seem small to me. The waitress Candy pointed out the difference between the dinner twin lobsters from the twin lobster special. Nice intimate and comfortable ambiance atmosphere. read more

Came in for dinner last week and had a fantastic experience. Primarily, the service was phenomenal, and everything was brought out in such a timely fashion despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Food was excellent, shown here are the stuffed shrimp (my all time favorite, a sweeter stuffing with plenty of seafood in it), the fish sandwich (light breading, not too heavy), and the shrimp tacos (filling, great flavor profile, not too salty or battered). Had a good meal at this restaurant and delicatessen too. We had a group of 12 sitting together and even though we were a little early for our reservation they were able to seat us with no problem. Our server was friendly and kept checking to see we had everything we needed. This restaurant had bar seating and other tables with lots of televisions around us. This restaurant is near my son's college so when we are in town it's one of our go to for fresh seafood! Food is delicious and fresh (lives up to its namesake). We went on a Thursday night and had their special two whole lobster, clam chowder, crab cakes and some sushi. Oink! All so good and delicious. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is large with a store attached to it. Haven't actually peruse the store yet but will definitely check it out during our next visit. Nothing is fresh. All frozen fish and scallops. Way too much money for this meal. Odd because their fish monger is next door. We had scallops wrapped in bacon, swordfish and salmon. The fish had those fake grill marks on it. Never will we eat here again. Do not bother. read more

1st time here and the food was amazing. I had clam cakes and red clam chowder and it was loaded with clams as were the clam cakes. My daughter had the lobster roll with a side of potatoes salad and her husband had the baked haddock with scallops. I also HAD to have butternut squash when I heard they had that on the menu. Extended family came for a visit and we promised them a Lobster dinner. After seeing all the usual places with small children (Museum of Science, beach, Harvard University, driving tour of the city) we arranged for a dinner at Fresh Catch, otherwise we were heading go Narragansett. Party of 5 adults with 3 small children. Started w three apps - onion rings, calamari and lobster rangoon. Good starters for young children. Plenty to keep them occupied. Entrees were two twin lobsters, came w a corn on the cob each; Connecticut style lobster roll; a sesame seared ahi tuna; baked scallops w mashed potatoes and slaw: and a trio of fried tacos. Guests loved the lobsters (small chix lobsters), scallops were good. My ahi tuna was promised to be rare but came out medium and the sauce was way too sweet. Kids had chicken fingers w fries. Staff were attentive and when the young less than 2 yrs, acted up they provided crackers to preoccupy the kids. Place was crowded, but we had two staff assigned to our table of eight. Worst meal we've had in a very long time. Raw oysters were drained and anemic, fried oysters were greasy and chewy. Rare tuna was medium well, fra diavolo was spicy but shrimp and lobster were average quality. Cucumber gin fizz tasted like sugar and a little cucumber, no gin flavor, no fizz. Took hubby out to an early anniversary lunch. He had his favorite Whole belly clam plate. I had baked haddock with butternut squash. Not bad. Service was good slow but good. 1 waitress when we arrived at 11:45. She was server, hostess and bartender. A woman of many talents. As you can see from the pictures it was a lot for the price. We went for throw back Thursday. The anniversary of thier first opening. So clams were $14.99 and haddock was $12.00. Very good . The servers name was Candi she should of had on roller skates she was definitely moving. Our most favorite place this part of the world, this place serves the freshest seafood dishes. They have sushi, too (except Mondays). They staff are friendly and the service always great. It gets a bit loud when it gets busy but still not as loud as the the other restaurants in Foxborough.
