The pizza was great, however I was not impressed by the roasted chicken and pasta served with the chicken parm. The chicken was tough, not tender enough and the mashed potatoes tasted like cafeteria mashed potatoes. I barely even hate half of it, which is disappointing because of how expensive it was. We had a lovely lunch here on the patio. No reservations and had no trouble getting a table on a Sunday. They had an extensive gluten free menu which was a big win. Our server, Dara was amazing - very attentive, friendly and helpful. We ordered arugula beet salad split into two which was a delightful start. For our mains we got salmon - one with risotto and other with beetroot hummus, quinoa, spinach. The fish tasted great. We also had herb roasted chicken with mashed potatoes which was cooked perfectly. Our very clean plates is a compliment to the chef! We had a nice afternoon over wholesome and delicious lunch. Went to meet some childhood friends for dinner and this was selected by one of the group. Very nice place. It is well laid out and provides good space and a great ambiance. The bar was a little smaller than I expected but was fine. The bartender was very good natured. She made me feel at home and produced one of the better Old Fashioned cocktails that I have had in a while. When everyone got there, we were seated at a nice table for 8. Our server was fantastic. He was always at the ready. We started with calamari, carpaccio, mussels and some focaccia. All the appetizers were great. Lots of flavor and a great balance of spice. I got the fig and Roquefort salad with salmon and it was perfect. The salmon was cooked to order and spiced well. Value was great considering the quality of the food. My friend and I checked Cibo Matto Caffe that serves Italian food. We started off with their complementary bread and oil. The oil came with three types of toppings and you can make it how you want. It was good. For the app, we split a Caesar salad, it was really good! For entree, my friend got chicken and broccoli and I got the spaghetti and meatballs, both delish. Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday and they were able to seat us immediately. Even then there were a substantial amount of people in the restaurant. Ordered pizza here a couple weeks ago. A large cheese and a large mushroom and sausage. $70+ with tax. Cheese pizza is $30 and mushroom and sausage was $38. Food and people are great here, but this is the most expensive pizza in New England, if not the entire country. Not sure if they are trying to sell less Pizza's? This is my second time at this restaurant. We had a party of 4 and made a reservation on Open Table. Fresh Bread with Olive Oil was so fresh and delicious with our drinks. The Arancini and Caprese salad for starters were also very high quality and prepared well. Tomatoes were in season and absolutely delicious. Entree Suggestions: Veal Parmesan, any Marsala dishes, and my wife's Bolognese was the top dish at our table. Food is an A+ and was the last time. It was a special evening for a special celebration. It was also a special find of a place. And packed. Good thing for the reservation. We knew what we were here for and what we could get. We started with a cocktail and then had fried calamari. Excellent. Then we had two different pizzas. Both were very good. With a good sauce and all. This was also the excellent combination with a Caesar salad. Overall it was an excellent meal and at a good value. A special THANKS to the assistant who helped us on everything. The lobster fettuccine was delicious with generous pieces of lobster; the veal marsala was also perfectly prepared and presented as was the short ribs entree. Decent wine list. My friends and I often dine here. Most recently it was a goodbye dinner for my bestie moving to TN. We were seated near the door and although very cold out, wasn't too drafty. Server greeted us promptly and offered drink menu and specials. We both opted for the espresso martini. It was the milky type, not too sweet and hit the spot. We had to ask for bread as it wasn't offered. There is a $3 charge for bread, although worth it, I'm not accustomed to being charged for bread anywhere. It's very good so if not offered, be sure to ask. I opted for the goat cheese salad with blackened chicken added. It was okay but the salad portion was small. I expected more salad for $25. It was a wheel of fried goat cheese with a small side of salad and two grilled pieces of chicken. I split the crème brûlée for dessert and had a teeny tiny cappuccino for $5. I wish it was a little bigger because it was delicious. For 5 of us to dine, have 1 drink, 4 of us had coffee and split desserts it was $280. It's a little pricey for Mansfield but good quality food and great service. Portions are average size. read more

Wanted to like this place as it always seemed busy... So, we went on a Tuesday evening and sat on the enclosed patio area because there was a wait for the inside. First mistake, the heaters were on but it was a bit drafty. Did asked the waitress about the correct punctuation of Cibo and she clarified it for me. After that it was game on for her to correct punctuation of myself and others at the table multiple times which seemed obnoxious. I digress.... So the tables are WAY to small to serve dinner size meals. It was a bit ackward eating and uncomfortable. As for my meal... I ordered the chicken parmesan. Presentation was ok, portion was large. Taste? What taste? It was extremely bland. No salt, pepper, oregano or even garlic. Angel hair pasta was on the verge of being overcooked. Chicken was tender but again no seasoning to be found on the chicken or in the breaded coating. Yes, I did take home the leftovers and seasoned everything as it should have been at the restaurant. I will not be running back for a second try anytime soon nor would I recommend this place. I'm on a mission to find quality sit down down food in the area. I am glad I tried it out and maybe I will in a year or so. The best part was being there with lovely family and good conversation. They made it a nice evening over dinner. read more

Food and service were all as expected. Nothing outstanding, but no flaws. It is rare these days for me not to be able to find something to criticize. We met another couple there who had already ordered and consumed most of a calamari appetizer. I wasn't overly impressed, but that may have been because it had been sitting on the table for a long time before we arrived. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh, but as is usual for me, I wished it had more dressing. My main dish was Chicken Piccata. The chicken was properly cooked and I really liked the Piccata sauce. My glass of red wine was good, but not overly impressive, and did not taste stale from being open too long. My Tiramisu was a large portion which I split with my wife. It was not the best I've ever had, but was quite good. I would order it again. Our server proved great service without being intrusive. I still don't like electronic tablets where the the server stands over you while you decide on the tip. read more

If you want good food, with a high price tag, this is your place. We have stopped by a few times over the years, the bolognese is consistently good. The beet salad is a solid choice too. We attempted to order a large cheese pizza but were informed that they don't do large pizzas anymore, only the small size. Quite disappointed, we ordered the small pizza anyway since we were already there. We were surprised to see that the small pizza, at $18, is only about 40% the size of the no-longer-available large pizza which had been priced at $22 until they took it off the menu yesterday. This appears to be a roundabout attempt to more than double the price for their pizza without customers catching on. Why else would you stop selling your large size pizza? My guess is that the owner is trying to get customers to order two or three small pizzas, one for each person costing a total of $36-$54, instead of $22 for one large pizza. I understand the need to periodically raise prices, but this seems a bit greedy and sneaky. Instead of a having a modest increase in price on their large pizza, it appears the owner opted to go for, in effect, a huge increase in price by simply getting rid of it. A kind of shrinkflation on steroids. My other favorite pizza (comparable to CM's pizza IMO) is Stefano's, which also happens to be in Mansfield. However, their small pizza, which I have had for lunch many times, is exactly the same size as CM's small pizza, while costing only $8.35, less than half the price. So I am voting with my feet- I won't be back to CM. read more

It's a decent place for Italian food. It's in Mansfield but has Boston pricing. I asked for more cooked pasta, a little past Al Dente point but I got a little uncooked before Al Dente point. Needless to say, I couldn't finished the pasta. The server asked if I want her to fixed it but I didn't want to wait another 30 mins for it and had already eaten the clams. The clams pasta had good flavor though which is much better than most places surrounding areas. I learned to next time just say well done pasta to avoid any confusion between the server and kitchen staff. It's small and cozy inside. The nice has a big patio seating, very quaint!
