Roasted chicken
Kelly L.

The pizza was great, however I was not impressed by the roasted chicken and pasta served with the chicken parm. The chicken was tough, not tender enough and the mashed potatoes tasted like cafeteria mashed potatoes. I barely even hate half of it, which is disappointing because of how expensive it was. The chicken parm was good but the sauce on top of it was nothing special. The pizza was the best part of the night, great ratio if sauce, cheese, and basil.

Salmon with risotto

We had a lovely lunch here on the patio. No reservations and had no trouble getting a table on a Sunday. They had an extensive gluten free menu which was a big win. Our server, Dara was amazing - very attentive, friendly and helpful. We ordered arugula beet salad split into two which was a delightful start. For our mains we got salmon - one with risotto and other with beetroot hummus, quinoa, spinach. The fish tasted great. We also had herb roasted chicken with mashed potatoes which was cooked perfectly. Our very clean plates is a compliment to the chef! We had a nice afternoon over wholesome and delicious lunch. The server and the kitchen staff did an excellent job keeping our allergies in mind. Absolutely going back.

A GREAT Old Fashioned

Went to meet some childhood friends for dinner and this was selected by one of the group. Very nice place. It is well laid out and provides good space and a great ambiance. The bar was a little smaller than I expected but was fine. The bartender was very good natured. She made me feel at home and produced one of the better Old Fashioned cocktails that I have had in a while. When everyone got there, we were seated at a nice table for 8. Our server was fantastic. He was always at the ready. We started with calamari, carpaccio, mussels and some focaccia. All the appetizers were great. Lots of flavor and a great balance of spice. I got the fig and Roquefort salad with salmon and it was perfect. The salmon was cooked to order and spiced well. Value was great considering the quality of the food. I would give this place a try if you're in the area.

My friend and I checked Cibo Matto Caffe that serves Italian food. We started off with their complementary bread and oil. The oil came with three types of toppings and you can make it how you want. It was good. For the app, we split a Caesar salad, it was really good! For entree, my friend got chicken and broccoli and I got the spaghetti and meatballs, both delish. Then ended lunch with a crème brûlée, also amazing Overall 8/10.

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday and they were able to seat us immediately. Even then there were a substantial amount of people in the restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice and Italian ambiance. It was decorated very cutely. Shortly after being seated, our waitress greeted us. She was very nice throughout our experience there. This was a very simple and flavorful lunch for us. I could see that during prime hours that this restaurant could be very busy

My friends and I often dine here. Most recently it was a goodbye dinner for my bestie moving to TN. We were seated near the door and although very cold out, wasn't too drafty. Server greeted us promptly and offered drink menu and specials. We both opted for the espresso martini. It was the milky type, not too sweet and hit the spot. We had to ask for bread as it wasn't offered. There is a $3 charge for bread, although worth it, I'm not accustomed to being charged for bread anywhere. It's very good so if not offered, be sure to ask. I opted for the goat cheese salad with blackened chicken added. It was okay but the salad portion was small. I expected more salad for $25. It was a wheel of fried goat cheese with a small side of salad and two grilled pieces of chicken. I split the crème brûlée for dessert and had a teeny tiny cappuccino for $5. I wish it was a little bigger because it was delicious. For 5 of us to dine, have 1 drink, 4 of us had coffee and split desserts it was $280. It's a little pricey for Mansfield but good quality food and great service. Portions are average size.

We love cibo. They always deliver a consistent high end meal. Somewhat expensive and dining in is usually quite busy. Food is always good.

Ask the Community - Cibo Matto Caffe

Come December what type of heated outdoor dining will you offer?

They have an outdoor patio with both freestanding and ceiling mounted heat lamps. We ate here outside during December, and it was fine.

Gluten free menu?

Sadly it seems this week they just stopped our favorite gluten free flourless torte!

Does anyone know what time they start serving dinner? I'm going at 430pm with a friend and I would like to know which menu to look at ahead of time. Thanks!

Dinner starts at 4 except for Sunday's when the menu is dinner all day, but they will accommodate you regardless of the time of day, you can order off both the lunch and dinner menu

Trattoria Della Nonna in Mansfield was incredible! The food is authentic, creative, and delicious…read more You can tell there's real passion behind each of the menu options. There's a nonna back there that knows what she's doing! The restaurant has two sides and is cozy. The wine selection is excellent, and our waiter recommended a Montepulciano that was so phenomenal we ended up ordering a whole bottle. We're still craving it days later. We started with the oysters, which I believe were from Wellfleet, and they were outstanding. They were meaty, fresh, and had no brine/salty taste at all. Even the bread with olive oil was memorable because it was perfectly salted and soo flavorful. For my entree, I had the chicken piccata with house‑made gnocchi--- simply divine. Truly one of the best gnocchis I've ever had! Wish there was more of them though. This was our first time trying the restaurant and it was SO good. Everything from the food, the wine, the service, it made for a fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

They take cards, there's more space, and everything just feels easier. We ordered takeout since it was a busy Saturday night, and we were right to assume the place would be packed. The restaurant is located on the main road in Mansfield, but the entrance is on the side, giving it a bit of a speakeasy vibe. Inside, it's cozy, with two rooms. A bar and dining area in the back, and a reservation-only room up front. The chicken parmigiana was fresh, tender, and the sauce was spot-on. We also got the tomato bruschetta, truffle fries, and Caesar salad. The Caesar was fine, but would have been better with more dresssing. The bruschetta was excellent and the fries were amazing. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with anything here.

Service is an A+. Not only was our server attentive, friendly and truly invested that we enjoyed our food and experience, the rest of the dining room had hustling employees taking care of guest needs. Friendly attentive hostess at the door. Bar full of happy locals unwinding with delicious cocktails and food at the end of their long days. I gave up alcohol last year but they have NA Beer and other viable non alcoholic options. My wife in the past and sister in law on this visit had great well made cocktails. Server had many recommendations. I love Haddock and Cod and I can't get it regularly where I live now in Philly. I got the simple dish of baked haddock with crumbs and served with fresh carrots and mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly, super fresh and very satisfying. Other food in my party also were great options with big portions. A made to order Chicken Pot Pie was outstanding! Chicken Kabob perfectly grilled. My only recommendation would be to add a Tzatziki sauce but chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Homemade soups and Buffalo Chicken Rangoon so good! Flatbreads are very good and great choices for variety. Outside seating great in nice weather. (Some bees around but they had measures to limit) If I was local this would be in my regular rotation in Mansfield (Fresh Catch, Cibo Matto, Cheng Du, and Jimmy's Pub and Restaurant my Mansfield picks)

I had no idea they do buck-a-shuck oysters on Sundays during football season. If I'd known earlier, I definitely would've been here all season long! She convinced me to try the beef vegetable soup, and I'm so glad she did. She mentioned that the beef comes from the ends of their filet mignon -- and honestly, it was the best beef vegetable soup I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and she even split it into two cups since we were sharing. Such a thoughtful touch! Before we left, my boyfriend wanted to gamble a bit, so I planned to take another glass of wine onto the casino floor. I told Karen I wanted to try something different, and she surprised me with a mini wine tasting of three options. I ended up choosing a wine I never would've tried on my own -- and loved it. Karen truly made the experience special. Stellar service, great food, and awesome vibes. We will definitely be back!

Perdue chicken nuggets in the air fryer with a side of whatever sauce you ask for & charge $12 for it. It was also really fun when they dropped off the apps with no plates or silverware, we had to ask & it was literally take out silverware. The actual throwing of the axes is fun if you want a glitchy game that's going to skip players on your team, not record points etc. Ambiance? Not it, you pay $10 a drink to sit in bright lights. Where we are sitting there's like a workshop area that looks unsafe for patrons & behind us is dents & scuffs in the wall. Also my male friends used the bathroom & lifted the seats & they were covered in feces Also OSHA would have a field day here. Where we were sitting I could reach a power drill & a torch. That's wildly unsafe & not right. If you want to throw axes go to stumpies in Fall River. 10/10 will not be back.
