In town for an event, used to eat at Qdoba often but they all went out of business out here. Burritos used to be big enough that you felt like you should win a T-shirt for finishing it. The $15 burrito I got here was smaller than a $3 Del Taco burrito and everything in it besides the rice was cold. Was on a road trip and stopped here at 945 pm. Not my favorite to get to a restaurant near closing but i was on the road and happy to find a familiar place. I walked in and immediately noticed over half of the food was put away, with no serving spoons in sight. Two customers were being checked out and a couple more sitting outside so i know it wasnt a dead spot. The girl stared at me and back down at all of the food put up and then back back at me and back down at having no spoons to do her job because she wants to go home at exactly 10:00 and not a minute later. So I said hello how are you. And she sputtered fine what can i get you. I then had to wait for her to go get a small plastic bowl to scoop out any ingredient they had left, which was less than half. Cold half meat portion, no queso, no sour cream, cheese all out, no guac. Chips were "gone" for the first time I've ever visited a qdoba in my entire life. I wanted to just decline the meal and go somewhere where it felt like i wasnt hosed so bad but i was on the road and i just wanted to get back out and on my way. They asked what we wanted and seemed friendly and made the 1st burrito and bowel with a smile. But after I mentioned I had 2 more items I needed. The other guy came up and said what do you want and before I could finish my sentence, he was abrupt and lacking patience as he stopped the food into the bowl, kept saying ok what's next? What's next? Etc then he proceeds to slide the bowl to the next person almost spilling the food out of the bowl. My guilty pleasure, Qdoba. Love their burritos. I get the queso burrito with whatever meat that I'm in the mood for every time I go. The burritos are about $7-$8 a piece, which is a little steep, but the burrito is pretty massive. The ingredients are always fresh and the burritos are made to order so you can get whatever you want on them. I've been to Qdoba many times and I will go back many times more. read more

As a out of state college student I was ecstatic when I discovered Council Bluffs has Qdoba. The staff seems to have a high turn over rate (I definitely dine in too frequently) but the service is always fantastic. Yesterday my friends and I choose to dine in and take a break from the busy thanksgiving shopping crowd. While we were seated at our table an older woman was at the check counter. The employee had regretfully told her the chip reader on the register was not working. The lady was very let down because she didn't know how to use Apple Pay and didn't carry cash. The young ladies working, I wish I got their names, told the lady it was on the house and to enjoy her meal. This was very heart warming especially right before the holiday season. The young ladies showed grace and faith. The older woman was in complete shock and very thankful. Even offered to bring cash back to the restaurant to make things right. The ladies at the counter refused to take money from her. I'm very proud of the Qdoba staff and have no issues with the restaurant at all. I asked for chicken but the man in a pony tail tells me they're out of chicken but I see a full stack grill of cooked chicken. Idk what that means maybe he didn't wanna walk back for fresh chicken or didn't want to cut it up. Made me over spend on steak when I could've spend less and could've had some nice fresh chicken. The restaurant was clean and had okay service. It took awhile for the food to be served but that's okay. I would say that it could be comparable to chipotle, although I like chipotle better. I would recommend he prime time nacho in spicy chicken. If you can't stand heat then I wouldn't recommend it because it is pretty spicy. Overall okay experience. read more

I heard another burrito place was giving teachers a buy one get one free. I got confused and went to Qdoba because it was closer. When I told the Manager about the other places deal she gave me a free drink. Very thoughtful. I love the cheese dip and husbands burrito was very full contained tasty beef and everything else he loves. My bowl was only half full. I added more lettuce at home. The chicken was good. But a bit dry. I ll probably return to try something different but positively chips and dip. read more

Sorry Chipolte. As much as I love organic and local food, I'm a queso lover -- and for that I'll always have to pick Qdoba over you. That, and I always start craving faux-Mexican food after 9 p.m. when you're already closed. Now, the staff at this location are wonderful. I'm a regular, and they always remember my usual order. And I don't know what that other guy is talking about, but this place has been very clean every time I've visited -- and as a germophobe I'm picky about that stuff. Qdoba is awesome! Every menu item is amazing and fresh. The prices are great and their rewards are great. You quickly accumulate free items after just a couple visits. Service is always great. I completely enjoy the food and flavors at Qdoba and appreciate the large variety on the menu. I love their rewards program and how fast you can earn those rewards! What frustrates me however, is that at approximately 5 out of 6 visits to this restaurant it feels like the servers are literally TRYING to put as little ingredients on my orders as possible. Tonight on a full quesadilla she put about 2/3 of a spoon full of chicken and took the time to spread each piece out to make it look like more and the same thing happened with the vegetables. The young man who put the cheese on did a nice job and I felt like it was a full serving. I aim tired of ASKING for them to put more on. And as for the "unlike" Chipotle comment. Until Qdoba raised their prices they charged for everything extra also. Now we pay for "extras" in their regular price, whether we get them or not, and it feels like I have to beg to get a full serving! And I am not asking for a large portion....just reasonable. Chipotle has never charged me for the fajita vegetables I get every time I go there. I am frustrated because I really like the food and the employees are friendly and gracious! But I am tired of feeling like they are focused on being skimpy! It's as if they think they might get into trouble if they put too much on!
