This is a super fun restaurant in downtown Elkhorn. We were very pleasantly surprised to stumble on…read moreit after a yoga class nearby! We arrived at around 1:45 on a Sunday, so it looked like they had been busy but were clearing out by the time we arrived. There was an outdoor patio, an indoor heated patio, and an indoor seating area. I definitely want to come back this summer to sit outdoors with an icy margarita. The indoor patio was heated and a few people were sitting outside but we opted for indoors. The decor was beautiful, I loved all the bright colors, the movie posters, the big and small plants, and the colorful paper banners. I ordered a lime margarita, blended with salt, and my husband ordered the same but on the rocks. We both agreed the margarita was too sweet, I'd probably opt for a different drink next time. We got chips and salsa to start and could choose between corn, flour, or a mix of chips. I liked the corn chips best, they were fresh and minimally salty. The salsa was so good! Not too spicy, and it came with an avocado salsa which was also fresh and had chunks of onion. I ordered a shrimp taco and had the choice of corn or flour tortilla and soft, hard, or fried shell. I opted for the fried flour shell. I also ordered a pork tamal, which came with mole on the side. I really enjoyed both things I ordered, and loved the addition of the mole sauce! My husband and I both agreed we'd come back, which is always a good sign. The only bummer was each taco and the tamales were $5-6 a piece, which ended up being a pricey lunch.

Would never have thought Elkhorn would be the place to go for fantastic tacos! Each one was…read moredelicious and tasted as fresh as they could be. They even provided a side of mole thy was very good! I also had a beef tamale and that was delicious too. I very much enjoyed each item and would be more than happy coming back in the summer to sit outside and have some more! Our server was very friendly and seemed to have been working there for a while. She was able to help with recommendations and allowed us plenty of time to make some decisions on what we were wanting to eat.

They need some type of noise barrier perhaps on the ceiling? They start you off with 3 complimentary dips. I had wished they told us what the dips were but one was obviously salsa which was okay but a bit watery. One was a bean dip of sorts, but mostly liquid and a few beans thrown in. The other looked like a white queso but was anything but. Kind of tasted like ranch dressing but unsure what it actually was. Neither of us really cared for any of them. We split the steak fajitas and those were really good! Came with rice and refried beans The steak was made from ribeye and was both juicy and seasoned which seems hard to find around here! The tortillas were really good as well and I thought the beans had a great flavor to them. I'm not a rice person but my dining partner is and she absolutely did not like the rice. I also ordered a margarita which was delish! I'd definitely come back for the fajitas! Unsure if they have desserts as our menus were taken after we ordered but we didn't recall seeing a dessert on them. Next time we will ask!

A lot of yall bitched and moaned about A&A, and for a tex-mex meal, she wasn't that terrible! I…read moremean, we basically had the outdoor patio to ourselves. We snagged their beautiful drink, Mango Habanero and oh was she spicy and also burnt to hell and back, but my husband won't be complaining... I chose their Shrimp Acapulco off their Avenue option. And if I'm honest, the breading was giving "sweet n sour chicken breading". All it was missing was the sweet n sour sauce, and bam. I didn't completely dislike it on the shrimp - which were plentiful - but I wasn't expecting it! I'd probably get them again. Drizzled some of their traditional queso on top and Now their chips - for their chips and salsa - were a tad, hard... and maybe on the more cooked than usual, aide. But paired with their queso AND salsa, they weren't terrible. We also grabbed their Carnitas Burrito, stuffed full of all the things listed in the menu and boy is she big! I hear it was "real good", with a "real good flavor" he has plenty for tomorrow - or a midnight snack! We HAD to head back toward the other side of the city, and get my most liked, strawberry cone dipped in butterscotch (because they don't have peanut butter!!!), at sweet ole Zesto Omaha.. p.S. please get a peanut butter dip for my medium strawberry cone, pleaseandthankyou.

Will not be back and we will certainly let others know about the rude, childish and unprofessional treatment we received. To many other good places to choose from and "Baby, this ain't that one"
