Hot Latte
Wanda H.

Really good place for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee. I had the Iraqi Eggs which was wonderful. And my latte was wonderful too. The pastry offering looked SOOOOO good, but I actually abstained. Service was helpful and our food and drinks came out quickly. Not super expensive, but not cheap either. Cute store with nice seating.

Stopped in for lunch in this small coffee shop located in a strip mall in Arnold. Such a fantastic middle eastern food menu in this casual and small space. Brunch - type of dishes . Many pastry and dessert choices for a little bit of sweet. Some take home items as well. Counter service for ordering. A huge and delicious surprise!

Shakshuka Plate

Absolutely loved this place. Cashier was so friendly and helpful explaining the menu and helping me pick out my order. I got the Shakshuka Plate which is a runny egg and sliced sausage with tomato sauce. I recommend ordering an extra pita (comes with one) to capture all the yumminess. Side garnishments balance it all out. So filling, I couldn't finish it all! I can't wait to come back to try more on the menu and the delicious drinks and pastries

Qawha is in a small strip mall. I went before 9 am, and was greeted warmly by the owner and an employee. The counter was filled with lots of delicious looking treats, and they were hard to resist. I ordered an iced drink with bischoff cookies, and it was exactly what i wanted. They have non dairy options like almond, oat, and coconut, which was great! There were just a few tables inside, and several outside as well. Qawha Time is a relatively new place, but it is a welcome addition to St. Louis County. I can't wait to return and enjoy a treat with my coffee very soon!

Habibti latte w/ oatmilk and matcha latte with raspberry purée and oatmilk

Amazing coffee shop and delicious pastries! We arrived a little before opening and they welcomed us in no problem. The habibti latte was amazing, a must try. I tried a matcha with raspberry purée and loved how bright the flavor was! The avocado toast and pistachio croissant were both 10/10. Definitely going to be back!

This place is kind of a hidden gem! My GPS found it tucked away when searching for a place to get…read morea chai tea. It's fun, quirky, and filled with delicious goodies -- a great place to get coffee and tea, with the added bonus of sweet treats! I love the rotation of seasonal drinks, and the baked goods are a small but mighty selection of scones, muffins, cookies, brioche cinnamon rolls (my favorite!), and other yummy baked deliciousness! Staff are friendly and helpful in offering options -- for example, I needed some dairy free milk choices. The barista also offered great recommendations with the seasonal drinks. Pricing is really reasonable... which allows you to indulge in some additional baked goods or one of their fun merchandise items like homemade dog treats, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I also like that they have a small shelf of books, records, and games if you want a little BFF time - with your bestie or for just yourself! I enjoy stopping in for refreshments and a little break from shopping on Lindbergh, or getting something to go to enjoy at home. The vibe is relaxed, and easy-going, and marching to the beat of its own drum. You gotta love places like this! There is plenty of parking, and the lot is easy to get in and out of. Just watch your step at the doorway entry/exit. It's got a slight incline - so watch your step. Seating is limited, but it seems to work, because there is a steady "to go" crowd that doesn't take up the tables. I love this cool spot in South County! It's local, and I love that over bigger, more expensive alternatives. I've been thinking a lot about those cinnamon rolls. So, I need another visit!

Today, I literally had to leave because when I walked in, there was no one behind the counter, I stood there for a few minutes until someone finally came out out of the back section, and then I assume, went behind the counter to tell the worker that I was waiting. When the worker came out, she had a bunch of cookies in her hands that she then had to proceed to fold and put into a bag and then she started making the coffee of two people that were sitting at the counter while I was still just standing there. She did acknowledge me, which I appreciate, but at that point, I have been standing there for at least five minutes and I still hadn't ordered my coffee. I told her that I had to leave because I had to get to work and went to Starbucks instead, which I really didn't want to do. But this has been a pattern with this place- either they're not hiring enough staff, the staff that they have is overwhelmed or something is going on. I've been coming here for almost a year- and I definitely would prefer to patronize a local Shop, but not if it's gonna take five minutes to even just get my order taken when I am literally the only person in line. Also, I wanna add, I literally used to come here three times a week. This is not a new experience, but this one has really taken it over the top. Like I said, I want to support a local coffee shop, and I want to like this place, but particularly in the morning when people are on their way to work, this type of delay is totally unacceptable. I'm not blaming the worker, I'm blaming whoever's doing the scheduling.

Once seated, our server checked on us frequently and listed their specials soundly. I opted for the sandwich special of the day, the Monte cristo, and my partner got one of the Benedict's. We split the special waffles of the day, the French toast waffle. We also both got a good drink with our meal. The Monte Cristo was perfectly sweet and savory. Incredible potion sizing for the price and a delicious plate. The French toast waffle was insane. Such a perfect sweet treat to finish our meal!

Overall rating 3.5/5, even though I can't give half stars here on Yelp. One star for ambiance/vibes. This is a gorgeous, quaint little eatery in a lush area of Saint Louis County, right near Grant's Trail. One star for service. My server was a kind lady who made sure I was always doing well and kept my water glass topped off. One star for going above and beyond--I ordered gooey butter cake as a sweet treat and apparently whomever cut the slices made them too small so they gave me two but only charged me for one. Half a star for the gooey butter cake and espresso martini. Neither was the best instance of either I've ever had but they were the best part of the actual meal. Unfortunately, I think I made the wrong entree choice. I went with the biscuit (singular) and gravy and a side of sausage links. The biscuit is described as "jumbo" but didn't feel much bigger than what I'd consider a regular-sized biscuit. It also wasn't nearly as fluffy as I would have liked and was quite tough and hard at points, nearly requiring the use of a knife to cut it. The gravy was relatively flavorless and wasn't improved much by either salt or pepper. The sausage links were passable. I'm willing to give the shop another shot (and order something different) once I try some other brunch places on my list but I was a little disappointed on this visit because I wanted to like my food more.

Their coffee is meh, they don't have all the food options, and they're energy drink options are lacking, and come on 7Brew where if your app!! This is why I love Scooters over 7Brew and Starbucks. Here's few reasons why I didn't give them 5 . More like 3.5 . 1. The Lindbergh location has a small window of how you can even get to them. Especially if you're coming from Sunset Hills. It's a whole loop around deal and if you miss that Lindbergh entrance then boi guess what.....go all the way around. 2. I placed my order on the app (ahead of time). I got there on a Monday afternoon, about 5:30. 2 cars were already at the window. And I can't figure out for the life of me why it took me 20 minutes to get my drink. This is not the first time either. I didn't pay attention to the first car so don't know what they got. The guy in front of me had one drink....me one drink. Why does it take that long? Is it just one person always working there? Regardless, I find it annoying that it takes me that long to get a drink. Also the fact that they never apologized for the long wait is mind blowing. I probably wouldn't have a giant issue if the workers would simply apologize just to make the customer feel better about the wait. I do however like to give major kudos for my amazing drink. I got the Lavender Ice Berry Sugar Free Redbull Infusion. And OMG.......the topping and the foam mixed with the drink reminded me of pink pop rocks. It by far surpassed my expectations and I wished it didn't cost me $8 bc I would probably want to get it every day. It is seriously so good
