This is the real deal - downtown Troy Ohio coffee shop and small food menu and pastries. I love having coffee 'in', served up and enjoy the aromas.

Overall a hip coffee spot with lots of seating by the coffee bar, and in the adjacent room. The staff have fun with each other and seem to know the locals. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but the latte I got was good--currently seasonal and they make their own syrup. The sandwich left much to be desired, and it's the only food item on the menu. In my opinion, this place felt slightly overpriced and I wish there were more non-coffee options as well.

Great service. Great ambiance. Great chai! Its very popular but kicked back. It's cool seeing these old buildings renovated

I came for the vibes, stayed for the drink, and left rethinking my lifelong beef with Chai. 10/10 would betray my taste buds again.

I've been coming here once or twice a week for probably 3 years now. I really should have written a review sooner. The coffee is delicious and the staff is so kind. They have truly watched my children grow up and are so patient with my daughter who runs around the place like a maniac and plays peekaboo in their retail shirts. My kids love ordering their hot chocolates though and watching their drinks get made. Always love their pastries too! The general vibe and ambiance is cozy with brick walls and a light up sign. If I ever had the time I would come and try to study.

The best 3rd wave coffee roaster in the area, and the best food of any coffee shop in the area. PC currently uses V60 and Chemex brewers, though they also serve batch brew and create many new espresso drinks (not using single origin beans for espresso currently). Their cortados are excellent! The food is amazing: giant breakfast sandwich, or bison burger, roasted sweet potatoes, or breakfast plate, and a plethora of baked goods. Because PC partners with local growers and bakers, the prices for food are higher than prepackaged generic food. Read the menu and ask questions. I believe the prices are fair to support local businesses. The baristas are friendly and helpful if you have questions. They typically get a little crowded on weekends, but early risers will have the place to themselves.

Husband brought the family here to try something new and get mom(me) yummy coffee. This place looks very clean upon entry. They were all very friendly while got the orders of a family of 6 all togather. We got coffee cake, red velvet cream cheese muffin, blueberry muffin, chocolate bundt cake, pour over coffee, 2 hot chocolates and a rootbeer. We ate them all at home ans thry were excellent. Not dry, not over sweet. Coffee was super smooth (it was my first pour over and it is definitely a do again), the hot chocolate was so smooth (the kids even said it tasted different, super good).

This is my favorite coffee shop to go to! The inside is so fun and welcoming. The service is always friendly and the coffee is always delicious.

Latte With Macadamia

Purebred is a locally owned coffee shop in Troy. It's one of the few. Most other places to get coffee are at fast food restaurants. It's also a bit too costly. They're ok but aren't anything special. I had a regular size latte. It was made with macadamia milk. This was $5 for just this. For this you could get a couple of coffees somewhere else. The good thing was its taste. Atmosphere is probably the best thing about it. This seems to be a pretty good place for reading or working. The coffee can get expensive. It's good considering it's in Troy. The shop is right on the square where you can park and then walk.

The most delicious honey lavender latte

The service was absolutely fantastic! I got a honey, lavender latte, and it is the best one I think I've ever had. The shop itself is very cute and gives off the perfect coffee shop Aura! Highly recommend, if you are in Troy, Ohio!

I stumbled on his place while in town for work. Great cappuccino and scone. The only thing I would change is the plastic ware.

Great atmosphere and decor. Be prepared to take your coffee seriously and don't dare order like you would at Starbucks.

Location: 13 S Weston Rd, Troy Ohio Website:…read moreMenu: see website Hours: see website Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Friday and found this a delicious option, close to home. Lunch features combo specials, smaller versions of selected dinner features served with a small salad, spring roll, and cream cheese wonton. We chose the Thai fried rice and Yellow curry, both with chicken. Great flavor. Quality ingredients. Really clean restaurant. Friendly, efficient service. Will absolutely return soon!

It's on us, it took us a while to go through the menu and figure out what we wanted. We made our orders and they came through quickly. The food was piping hot, very freshly made, and very delicious. I asked for extra spicy, but I think they NERFED a little bit, or my deep and abiding love of hatch green chilies has made all other peppers seem weaker to me. They were attentive, kept their drinks in good condition. They were friendly. I think they're just working on experiencing what it's like to be running it so it's like they're trying to get there SeaLegs. Not that they're doing anything wrong, it's just like watching a baby deer walk for the first time. It's a little wobbly, but it's clearly getting better every time it does something. Owner is first generation and seems to really his stuff. Definitely want to come back to this to give it some more culinary exploration.
