This place was awesome. Normal coffee shop so don't be in a hurry. A large selection of options. Girls that waited on us were super friendly and recommended multiple options based on tastes. Cute little place. We took out drinks to go so we didn't hang around long. Not a huge place so not a lot of seating but enough for your local coffee house. Won an award for best coffee in Springfield this year. Only been open for a couple of years so that is noteworthy. Definitely stop if in the area. It won't be a waste for sure. read more

Coffee Expressions - Storefront - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Springfield, Ohio

The first time we went my other half got what she wanted and I asked for a recommended drink. Both were shockingly super good for flavors I hate. I forgot what my other half had but the cashier recommended a peach and mango with black tea. I get it every time now. I hate mango and peach but weirdly the black tea was just perfect. It does get extremely busy a lot bc they are just so good and pricing is awesome ! I do like to grab their cereal treats every so often too. But we do notice that some workers make the drinks better can recall which ones but we had a few that just was not it. So in a way a hit or miss depending on who's working. Still trying to remember who makes what better but still a great place. read more

I believe the culture of the cafe is most important, there is clear racism and my previous review was not accurate in regards to how the staff is. This should be taken much seriously than how my previous review stated. Food wise they did have a decent selection or variety , coffee was subpar could be better and the ambiance was nice. Its pretty busy and loud .most people do take out but you can find sitting that could be comfortable read more

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The line was pretty long for a small shop. Very popular place. The line moved quick enough. Coffee was nicely, flavored and not overpoweringly sweet. Ordered the Highlander grog hot and it was yummy. If we lived here, this might be a go to place for us read more

Delicious coffee from a locally owned independent coffee shop. So good! Chai was my drink of choice today. Yum.

Nice selection of coffees. Quick friendly staff. The coffee tastes good. Not burnt or bitter. For those of you that like flavored syrupy drinks - they have those too. I prefer a good cup of coffee, and that's what I got. read more

Coffee Expressions - Newly remodeled. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Springfield, Ohio

Best coffee in Clark County! Possibly the best coffee in the universe. Iced Mocha Latte!

This is a perfectly nice Crimson Cup franchise now - friendly service, good coffee, and what looks like a decent selection of pastries. The space is kind of dark for any kind of work, but it's a cozy hangout spot just off campus, and close enough to the laundromat to grab a coffee while a machine is running. read more

Friendly atmosphere with excellent drinks and service. Please stop bye you won't be disappointed.

love the buckeye iced coffee. Quick service and yummy . Love the location and the food truck option out front

I've been coming to this coffee shop since they opened, 2 to 3 times a week and at times more. Now they stop serving regular drip coffee at 6:00 and they close at 8:00. It's a coffee shop for heaven sakes that means you should have coffee. I'm going to continue going to winans from now on and not come back here again. read more

Wonderful service and terrific coffee! Stopped in while taking a drive in he area. Will definitely be back.

They're okay but definitely not the best around "based on taste speed Choices and accuracy"

So good. So good. So good. My aunt worked at St Johns around the corner & we would stop in from time to time. Started going when I was about 12 or 13. Then once I got my own car I was in there all the time lol. Any iced latte is the best thing ever. They're all good. read more

Great Coffee and Staff Great way to start any morning Also a good spot to hang and catch up with friends read more

Tried to get coffee here on a mid Tuesday morning (around 8:30-9am) but the line practically snaked out the door, and for better or worse, thanks to the friendly, personal attention offered to each and every customer, there was no way to make it in and out of there without at least a 20+ minute wait. Their selection looks good, prices average to high (I'm a semi-coffee cheapo!!), and it seems to be a nice, cozy spot to enjoy a well-made cup of coffee. I think they need some "extra hands" during busier hours. I'll have to come back and give it another try on "off" hours... read more

I go here atleast once a week, and the coffee is always great, and the employees are friendly. However, today, I got a Chai Latte and it was super watery! The girl that was working, was too busy talking to her mom and made it in a rush, and didn't even acknowledge me. read more

Locally owned and operated, Coffee Expressions is tucked away in the Wittenberg area of Springfield. I only ever get espresso drinks here, my personal favorite being a caramel or vanilla latte with soy milk. The baristas are always friendly and quick with the order. I have heard the drip coffee or regular coffee isn't the best here, but cannot attest to that personally. My 4-Star Review is based solely on the coffees I buy there, nothing more. I think if they offered a bit more for food, my review would be higher, not much to eat here, but the coffee is very good. I have never had a bad coffee in dozens of visits. They serve Crimson Cup roasted coffee, which is Ohio Roasted, Fair Trade and Certified Organic. Update: They now serve pour-over coffee as well. Quite good. read more

Coffee Expressions is your typical small coffee shop that is not commercialized. They use a great roaster out of Columbus Ohio "crimson cup" and always roast a variety. Calm music, Wi-Fi, cool furniture, great people equivocates out to be a great shop read more

The coffee is good but the owner makes racist comments to employees and customers. Definitely don't recommend.

I love their Sugar Free Peanut Butter frozen lattes with their sugar free powder and Reese's sauce! Great staff and so many choices.

Stopped here while driving through. They had a lot of really good sounding drinks. I ordered a red velvet mocha frozen drink and it was delicious! I almost thought about ordering a second one! We will definitely have to stop back when we are in the area again. read more

I love this place. Great coffee. If you like peanutbutter and chocolate, get a Buckeye. The frozen ones are the best!

Love the service. Love the coffee. Bathroom is clean. Everyone is friendly. Wish it was bigger with some privacy instead of one big room. When there's a line, most people get in each other's way trying to find a place to stand. I see people leave all the time because there's no where to go. The lighting is outdated. But the coffee and service always brings us back. Sometimes more than once in a day. read more

Incredible sandwiches! Worth your time if your driving through Springfield. Great atmosphere!

This place is more than awesome! Awesome drinks and awesome employees! However, there is one employee who i do not know his name, but has glasses and curly-ish hair. Very polite. But if he is working, come back later when he isn't there. He doesn't make the drinks with hardly any flavor at all. its more like drinking warm water from a washed out coffee pot. Unflavorful and not worth the trip if he is working. Everything else about this place is great! read more

This place is one of a kind. I love their huge selection of flavor syrups and the Crimson cup frozen drinks are unbeatable. The workers here are always friendly and quick. read more

Every time I come to Springfield, I HAVE to stop at Coffee Expressions to get a frozen blended vanilla latte! They use Crimson Cup products and they are delicious! It doesn't matter if its 90 degrees or -20. I have to have it! They have a diverse menu for all coffee lovers and they have many flavorings for your favorite cup of Joe. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and there is plenty of seating. A great atmosphere for sitting with a book or talking with friends. If you haven't been here, you must try it! read more
