I visit this starbucks before work super often. Every morning, I am greeted with a smiling face and kind attitude. My coffee is ALWAYS made correctly and I never struggle ordering what I want. They are quick to answer questions and knowledgeable about their products. I love their shaken espressos!!! The best!!! Keep being great! I love the tip jar surveys too! I flew back in to town and waited here for my ride while finishing up some work. I ordered a salted caramel cream cold brew, which was a mistake. The line was packed per usual but this location does not have the quality of service it needs to keep up with indoor and outdoor customers. I waited 25 minutes for 1 drink, and the quality of the drink was about a 4 out of 10. And nobody was friendly, just flustered with the rush. Burnt and overpriced. The service leaves a LOT to be desired and the coffee most certainly does not meet the standards you would expect from this chain. While I am not a fan of chain places to begin with I am certainly unimpressed with this one. Complete disappointment all around! Staff seems lost and does not seem to care much for their guests, definitely do not handle complaints well, and struggle to keep things clean and organized. This Starbucks seems to be more focused on their drive-thru customers than their walk-in customers. I stopped by today to try them out, and I opted to walk in and order rather than going through the drive-thru. There was only one customer in line in front of me, and the person behind the counter was taking her order as I walked in. I then waited approximately five minutes without being acknowledged at all, while the person responsible for taking orders at the register ran around getting orders for drive-thru customers. The closest I got to ordering was the person behind the register acknowledging me with a "I'll be with you in a minute." I waited a minute or two after that, and I finally left without ordering, as this person seemed to have gotten into a lengthy discussion regarding locating the Earl Grey Tea for someone else working there and was not any closer to taking my order. I really hope they are able to work out the kinks, as I do want to see this place succeed. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement in their workflow. read more

No matter what time of day or how many people are in line ahead of you, you can always count on spending no fewer than fifteen to twenty minutes in this drive-thru. Most days it's more and there is no way to exit the drive-thru once you're in it. You're stuck there. IT IS COFFEE! What takes so long? They are as nice and upbeat as can be, but really, it is extremely frustrating to wait so long to pay too much for coffee that isn't really all that extraordinary. I can get my coffee more quickly elsewhere (Dunkin' or McDonald's) and then go talk to other pleasant people without being in a bad mood about having had to waste so much of my time. I have never been dissatisfied with my drinks at this location, however the wait time and the overall experience is what's off putting. There's no way that the single location and service all of Springfield--for example, there are SIX McDonald's, and even they struggle to meet expectations. You can't have one cashier in the lobby and they walk away when there's a line. Open a new location. read more

Understanding that the holiday season makes for crowded restaurants, I was expexting to wait just a little for an order. My daughter received a gift card for Christmas and was super excited to finally get Starbucks! She baught her and her brother a Frappuccino, and we waited. Being packed inside and the staff was slammed with drive threw and takeout orders. My son who is 7 years old, no health issues, out if nowhere said his belly hurt and he might get sick. As we rushed over to the bathrooms which were both full. We tried to head outside. Thats when his vision went black and he ran into a pane of glass full bore. Then he collapsed and was not responding. At this point the restaurant employees, customers are all aware of whats happening. As Im trying to get my son to wake up yelling his name and in a full panic. Im forced to try and get him outside to call 911. Trying to carry his limp body out the doors which was not easy to open for whatever reason. I finally get him outside and get paramedics on the way. They arrive and we head to the hospital. My point in writing this review was not intened to cut down the business. But to reflect on the surprising lack of human compassion from staff and customers. There wasnt one person not looking at me and my sons situation. No one offered help. All just stared. Since this has never happened to my son before I felt as if I was watching him take his last breath. I was completely and udderly disgusted by the actions of all the people inside that building that day. I hope my daughter's $12 helps your company grow, and since we never received the order I hope whoever drank them was satisfied. read more

I have visited this establishment twice now and both experiences were sub-par. Initially, I placed a mobile order (at about 545 am) and went to pick it up approximately ten minutes later. There were three young ladies working, practically tripping over one another with nothing to do, and they said my order wasn't received. Since I had also paid via app, I showed them the screen and my order and they began making it. The girl making the order continuously had to ask the others for guidance and assistance for the drinks. This ended up adding about fifteen minutes to my morning. My second visit, I ordered nothing. A friend of mine ordered a sandwich (of which they said they were out), ordered another sandwich, which we then realized were pulled out of a fridge and microwaved...for $4. She also ordered a drink. Mind you, there are about six people behind the counter. Two were talking to a girl in civilian clothes a out their schedules, which appears they just weren't working. Drinks start to come up, and we realize they're for the patron currently sitting at tables who have been sitting since we arrived there. We avoided the drive through due to the line, but we would have gotten her items faster if we'd have stayed there. By the time she got her drink, which was about twenty minutes later, her sandwich was cold. I won't be going back. read more
