Look no further. Well, look closely for this little powerhouse of a coffee shop, tucked into a side street off US40 in Englewood Ohio. (It's a little tricky to find but you will be so glad you did!) This is a very small cafe. Four tables inside, 3 picnic tables outside, and a drive-thru window. We stopped in to try our luck getting a table and easily scored one inside after ordering 2 iced lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches. We were prepared to sit outside but got lucky with a table inside. A happy perk indulging me to dine 'in' on a review visit so I can observe interactions with other customers and between employees. The staff is a great team - working together very well and helping to fill orders for the drive-thru window and counter orders. Very impressive overall and a level of service that really stands out - table delivery of drinks and food as soon as they were ready. I also noted 3 'to go' orders handled with the same efficiency. Well done, Cafe 19! The food options exceeded my expectations. Several breakfast options, several lunch options, and a nice baked goods selection. What really makes me love a coffee shop is the coffee, though (of course). The smell of beans being ground and brewed filled the air and our cold choices were lovely. This place is amazing! Been coming here since 2023. The people, food, and coziness of this small cafe is awesome. The staff has been friendly to me. I love how they do their best to know many of the regular customers. Even the regulars seem to chat to one another. They had a customer's order done before he was finished paying for it. What an excellent random Yelp map find! The space is small, but cozy, and they have outside seating to expand it a little bit. The blackberry lemonade was great, and I'm not just saying that because I accidentally hiked at the Audubon that morning XD Service was lovely, and I was super impressed that the breakfast sandwich involved actual pans, not a microwave. If I could give them more stars, I would. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was a food box outside for the less fortunate people, and as I was sitting here enjoying my coffee, a gentleman walked in, who was definitely down on his luck and had some mental issues... so I offered to buy him some water however the owner or one of the owners I think gave him an ice water, no charge. So that struck up conversation and come to find out they do what they can to help the community! And that is something more companies should do!!!!!! It's crazy that small, local companies do more for the community than multimillion dollar companies... Anyways to their coffee... I ended up getting 2, first was something I picked, second was their recommendation, I definitely preferred the 2nd to my own... who would have thought that peanut butter in a latte would be good???? The ingredients are low in quality; think, Torani and Da Vinci syrups, the bread on my BLT completely generic, and I spied Kellogg's cereals for the yogurt parfaits. I wanted to love this place, I really did. My husband and I went on a Saturday late morning. The idea of the coffee flight is what pulled me in along with the delicious sounding bakery options, specifically the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cinnamon Roll. The building itself is very cute but small inside. We sat outside and there was plenty of seating. We both ordered the Barista Treasure coffee flight which allowed the barista to choose your four flavors. In addition, we ordered a strawberry muffin and a Fruity Pebble Waffle. I wanted to order the Strawberry Cinnamon Roll but it was out. We didn't enjoy any of the items unfortunately. The coffee flight is a great concept. However, all of the favors tasted like milk with ice in it. There were no distinct flavors or even taste of coffee. This was extremely disappointing. The woman who served us said she would be back out to explain the flavors as they are abbreviated on the board. However, she never returned. The food items both tasted like bread. There was minimal flavor and the muffin was very dry. The pricing was not proportionate with what we purchased as I spent approximately $35.00 on these items. As I said, I wanted to love the place but flavor and texture need to be as much of a priority as appearance. read more

We were traveling through from out of town and had heard of Cafe 19's iced coffee flights. We made it there only 15 minutes before they closed and found out they stop serving the flights 30 mins before close so customers can enjoy the full experience. As a barista myself, I fully understand. Though I was disappointed that option was not available, I still was glad to order other coffees. We ordered a cold brew and a mocha frappe. I really enjoyed the cold brew and would go back again for it! And my little sister's Mocha frappe was not sickeningly sweet, and I could still taste a bit of coffee flavor. The staff was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to offer us a treat because we had come out of our way to get the coffee flight. I enjoyed conversing with them while waiting for our drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive through. read more

I wouldn't even worry about any reviews with negativity in them bc this is completely untrue. I traveled all over the USA for a living and I love trying local coffee shops. This place is just like every local small coffee shop. Great coffee and nice breakfast sandwiches, pastries and even lunch sandwiches. It's adorable! I'm so glad Someone in Englewood finally thought outside the box and came up with something of their own. All Englewood has is chain restaurants and fast food joints. This is so refreshing to see a locally owned coffee shop in the heart of the town. Very good breakfast sandwiches, unfortunately signage and listings online say they open at 5 am. I went there hoping to get breakfast on my way to work (have to be there at 6) and two days in a row there was absolutely no one there a few minutes after 5. After speaking to the owner Dillon, he assured me that they open at 5. I went once again a few minutes after 5 and two employees were just arriving, but I ended up getting my breakfast sandwich after a few minutes. Yesterday I tried again, this time it was 18 minutes after 5 and once again, no one there, no cars, kitchen dark. I called later in the day, asked for Dillon and was told he would call me back,. which he did not. I would avoid this place as they cannot seem to open when they say they will. McDonald's, while not as good, does in fact open at 5 and I am always able to get breakfast and be on my way to work. read more

The Grog Coffee is my favorite, wake me up and get in gear coffee, with their Mocha Latte in second place.

They literally didn't know how to make the drink on their own menu. They also had the tv screen on, playing a video of a girl dressed in lingerie singing. So inappropriate in general, and even more so for a coffee shop setting. It made the whole experience awful. read more

I have tried this place a few times and not been happy with their drinks or food. I really wanted to like this place but after several times I can't seem to give it a great review. The coffee we got was not good and we were over priced and our choices one of them were raised to the next size and charged as such and we did not want a larger size. I am not sure why this happened as the man repeated our order so there should not have been a mistake. Being a baker myself I was less than happy with the baked good offered. I don't mind paying for good food and coffee but this was not it. I don't think I will return again. Try for yourself it might be what you are looking for it just wasn't for me. read more
