This is a cute little spot in the shopping center next to the Famous Restaurant. Seems like a nice alternative to Starbucks since I no longer go there for various reasons. Service is prompt and friendly - at least at 2 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. A few patrons inside on their laptops. This is a wonderful coffee shop and probably the best one in the area, it was recommended to us by an employee at Pet Supplies Plus. My wife and I now stop in every Saturday, I get my usual Cappuccino with Oat milk and a vegan coffee cake muffin, she likes to try various coffee drinks. The coffee is wonderful and the staff is amazing. One little caveat is they really need to turn the overhead fans off or at least down. One of the, if not the, best coffee shops in the area. The espresso and drip are always top tier and their specialty lattes have converted some of my black-coffee-only friends they're so tasty. Reasonably priced drinks and beans- definitely worth buying a bag to make at home. Staff are always very friendly, attentive, and quick- & have given me great recommendations for drinks and which beans I might like best too! I'm finally getting around to writing a full review of this GEM of a coffee shop. First off, I want to mention how great the staff and the owners of ContempoRoast are. Mother son owned and operated. AMAZING people. Andy is always a pleasure to chat with! These folks really take their time to get to know their regulars and always make sure customers are taken care of and treated with kindness. All around just awesome people. Secondly, ContempoRoast also carries bakery items from local home chefs which is an awesome way to support the community and help these wonderful people get some recognition. I have reached out to a few of them to buy directly from them and I will continue to do so because quite frankly they're better than any of the big stores around here. Saving the best for last, THE COFFEE! These people know coffee. Eat, sleep, breathe it. You cannot go anywhere else within hours of driving to get any coffee even close to this. They have gone above and beyond crafting their drinks so that the coffee is the main star. You will never get a mouthful of sugary syrups, burnt coffee, nor anything less than a perfect cup. If I leave the house that day, I know I'm getting ContempoRoast Coffee, If I don't, well you better believe I'm pulling my own shot of espresso at home using the one and only legendary coffee beans from ContempoRoast, in my perfectly sized ContempoRoast mug! read more

Excited to try this coffee shop, so invited 2 friends to meet at Contempo-roast. Not sure what to expect, but stepping inside we were all disappointed in the ambiance. It's rather sterile/cold - not the cozy place we were looking for to relax with friends over a cup of coffee and a treat. A few restaurant supply tables and chairs, no warmth or comfort. On the upside, the coffee was good (not great), the employees very pleasant and helpful. We shared a scone and a poptart both very good. All that said we probably won't be back - not enough of a draw. read more
