This particular coffee shop caught my attention because their website indicated, "Every purchase creates job opportunities for local teens and supports schools, nonprofits, and community organizations." I stopped by on a Saturday at 8 am. There were several patrons at the small tables and several people came in after me. It looks like they are popular among locals. I had the iced latte with house-made lavender syrup. I told the waitstaff that I prefer less sweet and she asked if they should lessen the amount of lavender syrup. I declined but I probably should've taken her suggestion because the drink was a teeny bit too sweet for me. But otherwise, the coffee was strong and it kept me running for hours!

There have been other patrons there every time I've went but the service is fairly quick. I don't think their coffee is my favorite but I use it as a vehicle for my flavoring anyway so it's okay lol

I went with their seasonal carrot cake latte with oat milk because I love trying funky seasonal offerings. I've had banana bread lattes recently but carrot cake?! That was a first for me and it was down right delicious. The place was only staffed by one person so it took a little minute for all our drinks to be made but no complaints here. They have a little seating area directly in front of the counter with a giant mural of different kinds of birds. One person in our group is a bird watcher so we had fun looking at it. I would definitely return for that latte next time I'm in town.

There's plenty of seating though! Now on to the food; I got ham and cheese croissant (to go), Yaki omelet sando. I asked if it is good and the cashier said it's the most popular menu item! The omelet sando is delicious: crunchy, salty savory, just perfect with the perfectly toasted sesame sprinkled white toast sandwich!
