Coffee cake

This is a nice local cafe. Their coffee cake was sooo good! I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't speak to that much. It's typically not too busy which is great for studying! They typically have a show playing in the background which was a little too loud but overall a good spot!

ENON, Ohio - The missus and I stopped there around 930 on a Sunday morning. Service was friendly and relatively quick. My 'brownie'-style cold brew was nice - kind of tasted like a coffee-ish liquid brownie. Her buckeye-style iced latte was like a big dessert of peanut butter, like a coffee and pb milkshake. Both were good and not a bad value at, like, $10.50 total. Much prefer this over some chain. Plenty of parking.

This is a small town coffee shop that one is happy to find like an oasis of a good coffee dessert. When you first walk in, the locals look at you funny; since, it was obvious that we were from out of town, but they soon become friendly. The coffee was decent, and the service was hospitable. My first surprise was that they had baklava, but my second surprise was that one of the customers make his own. They have few seating choices which makes it a good place to hang out or do some work.

Homemade Baclava(so good!)

This is NOT a Fairborn coffee shop but located in Enon. Offers great coffees and teas ( I particularly like their chai tea) and baked goods.

Good coffee, friendly staff, quaint coffee shop with pastries I can recommend. About 1 mile south of I-70 off Enon exit ramp.

I have been teaching for years in Springfield and there is no awesome coffee spot close to my…read morebuilding. Stopping at gas stations doesn't do it either. So I was really happy when I saw that this was going to open right around the corner from the school at which I teach. I was in on the Grand Opening day (Friday, Mar 3) and the place was hopping at 645 am. The service was quick and my peanut butter latte (nonfat) was served quickly and it was HOT. The expresso machine can be a tricky machine and shots can go wrong right away, it was great. The café was full, there were students dressed like they just woke up (who I would see later dressed better at school) in line behind me. Students were coming in to school with Scout's cups and drinks in hand. They all said the same thing, they were happy with the product and the price. I failed to mention the biscotti that I purchased. It was outsourced somewhere locally and it was really good too. They have paired well with a local baker. The dude in charge (I think he was the manager) was running bagels from the back while his staff was cranking out the drinks. It was great. I went back this morning (Mon) and it was quiet. I got the same service and got to talk to the dude (Tony). He is very proud of the café that he, his sister, and other partners have created. It was clear that he was excited about the business venture. They have some flavors at the bar that they must be experimenting with , they were not on the menu and will probably not be around long. I had a Toasted Marshmallow latte this morning and it was even better than the PB one. It was really good. Service was quick and friendly. Everyone seemed awake, not grumpy. Many times morning employees can be very unfriendly, but that was not the case here. It was a great experience. I am used to coffee house type experiences in Columbus, and the SHort North. Scout's has a great opportunity to be the neighborhood place. I hope the locals all stop in on their way to work. It was clean, it was inexpensive (cheaper than Columbus prices) and delicious. I can't be positive enough on how good this is. I wish something like this had been around for years, but hopefully it will be until I retire. Good luck to the owners. Welcome to Northridge. (A few signature drinks would be awesome. I could suggest a few...hahah)

I saw they also sell wrapped grab 'n go sandwiches, drinks and yogurt parfaits. I didn't see a menu, but apparently they have pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They are also a beer & wine shop retail shop. There are several tables both inside and out to sit and read or socialize. It was a really pleasant atmosphere in the middle of the day. They have shelves of used books for $4.99, alphabetical by author. I found one to purchase. I came back with granddaughter for breakfast, but I wished we had gone to a different place, more of a full service breakfast joint. I had a breakfast wrap and a hot coffee. It was pretty good. The staff were okay, not super friendly.

Cookies and other baked goods drew us in from outside. We sampled a carrot cookie, chai cookie and chai lattes. While we waited for the drinks we perused the local beer selection which included some THC options for those who don't have workplace drug testing. Chai lattes were served up by a friendly and efficient staff member. We sat in the cozy cafe area surrounded by gorgeous quilted artwork that was for sale. The lattes were hot and perfectly spiced. The chai cookie was our favorite of the options we sampled. Bill came to just under $20.00. Great price and really good quality. Would definitely return when next in the area.
