The waitress was phenomenal and the coffee is good! The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. I ordered the strawberry and cream waffle. It was good, but too much sugar! And that was without maple syrup. The menu said the waffle was sugared, but good grief! The strawberries tasted fresh and were mascerated well. My dad ordered the a al carte biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were hard and the gravy was not sausage and there was not enough gravy to spread over the biscuits. I would like to know why a restaurant, that supposedly only offers brunch, cannot make a good biscuit and gravy? What is easier to make than biscuits and gravy? read more

Ask for Angela she is the best and as this was our first time they made you feel so welcomed and the atmosphere was great. 8 booths and plenty of tables both in and out. We chose the outside. We started off with drinks and Beignets. They were great and asked for a side of powdered sugar, that is the proper way to serve them. She chose the skillet and I went with the omelette with a side of blueberry pancake. Great experience, great portions and great staff. Definitely will repeat. read more

Love this place! Came with my hubby this time. He enjoyed a Bloody Mary and I had a coffee. I ordered the skillet with eggs over easy and added mushrooms. The sausage was by far my favorite but this skillet was absolutely delicious and flavorful! Hubby was excited for the smoked salmon bagel but he said there was too much cream cheese and it over powered the salmon. We both thought the grilled PB&J with bananas was very good! read more

Great coffee, but no cinnamon rolls except on the weekend. The whole reason I went was for the cinnamon roll. The pancakes sucked and the whole vibe was...off. They ask that you stand in the entry way until they come get you and that area is small and had no AC or heat. So the hospitality fails starting when you enter the door. The staff had a fake nice California brunch vibe which I didn't like. So if they were going for a fake experience where mimosas flow freely like in LA then perhaps they succeeded. Have had this place on my list for years, glad to finally give it a try. Known for their pancake "charcuterie" board, but couldn't convince my partner to take the plunge and get it with me. Got the pbbb&j sandwich and the red berry blt. Side of eggs and chips. Everything was delicious, the pb wasn't greasy and didn't leave you feeling sluggish. Huge portions, would definitely recommended getting it as your meal if you're really hungry or as an appetizer to split. BLT also had great flavor and lots of add ins. Chips had a good seasoning as did the eggs. We were able to sit on the outdoor patio and it felt great outside without being in the heat of the direct sunlight. Service was quick and we were able to get in and out in under an hour and on with our roadtrip. I'll be back someday to try the pancake boards for sure. read more

The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had a really inviting vibe. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and both the coffee and mimosa hit the spot. The food, though, was just okay. I did the Build Your Own Brunch with scrambled eggs, bacon, a biscuit with sausage gravy, and a blueberry pancake. Nothing was bad, but nothing really wowed me either. My husband got the traditional eggs Benedict, but the hollandaise sauce had an overwhelming tang that threw it off a bit. He also tried the beignets; they were a little greasy, but still tasty. We were seated in a booth next to the kitchen, and at one point there was some drama between a cook and the servers. It didn't bother us at all (honestly, it was kind of entertaining to get a peek at what goes on behind the scenes), but it seemed worth mentioning. read more

Arrived at 1130am on a Saturday with a line down the side of the building. At least 4 groups of 4 or more were outside waiting to be called in. I walked up and was immediately seated since it was just two of us. If you don't mind eating at the bar, make sure you ask if seats are open. The inside seating area is limited with tables closely positioned near the door. It is in a small area. There are approx. 12 tables (including 4 booths). The enclosed screened in patio has a more open seating area and it doesn't seem so congested. After getting the flight of 4 mini mimosas (not impressed / cheap juices used), we ordered their famous $35 pancake board. Even if you don't drink while eating, it can easily feed 3 people. Maybe even a 4th person who is eating lightly. It's a lot of food for only 2 people & coffee. We wanted the experience. Staff was friendly & food was good. It arrived with limited waiting, the syrup was warm and the fresh berry jam was delightful. Good stop if already in the area. read more

I heard good things about this place, so my family and I were excited to try it. We are not very picky people, but we were highly disappointed and likely will not return. The server was nice enough, but from the moment you walk in, you get the vibe that they are attempting to upsell you everything. From offering mediocre "shareables" like their cinnamon roll and attempting to add sides to everything because none of their meals come with sides. Never have seen a breakfast joint like this, probably ever. All of this was okay and would have been alright but my 4 year old ordered a simple kids pancakes meal (no sides included) for $6. She immediately spit out the pancake bite, so I had to try them myself, they couldn't be that bad right !? WORST tasting bland pancakes I've ever had! I told the server and she says "that's just our batter, some people don't like it." I said okay and asked for scrambled eggs and cheese for daughter. Those came out fine but when it was time for the bill, I was still charged full price for the disgusting pancakes. Not common practice to my knowledge at any restaurant. Ok, that would've been fine if the food was as good as promised. This was very underwhelming. While the eggs and vegetables from my skillet were good enough. His sandwich was okay, but not good enough to wait over an hour for a table, plus 20 minutes for the food. The gravy on my biscuits was so incredibly lacking.
