Don't forget about the footlong hotdogs! The Kraut dog is my favorite.

This one had a great rating and we can see how it got one. It's a little bit out of the way but it's in a beautiful setting along the Miami River corridor. And the pizza is great. It takes 3 things to make a good pizza. The balance of the crust, the dough, the sauce, and the cheese. Everything else just adds to these 3 elements. This place does this well. They were fast, clean, and friendly. The right amount of toppings so you could taste each item without drowning out the other flavors of the pie. Just fabulous! You can eat outside if you choose or take out. As good as it gets. Highly recommended!

My upper middle girlie got The Moho mud pie. She thinks it was really good. She particularly liked the peanut butter in it. My youngest got a like it size cup of birthday cake which is cake ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate syrup. My oldest didn't know what to get and had them surprise her. They gave her a Coffee ice cream base with brownie and Heath bar bits and a chocolate drizzle. She says it was very tasty. My sweetie got some thing about cheesecake, and she enjoyed it. Cheesecake fantasy. She says it's delicious. She wasn't really in the mood for chocolate, so the berries and the graham cracker crust with the cheese cake flavored ice cream hit the spot. It's still the back end of summer so cold ice cream on a warm but not too hot day is delicious. The service was friendly and engaging. We sat out front in the shade and the warmth and had a great time. I was really surprised about the prices. They were very remarkably reasonable.

Our boys' ice cream was accidentally made without the Oreos, and while mistakes happen, what impressed us most was how Tiffany handled it. She was walking around checking on guests, asked how everything was, and immediately made it right with a smile and a genuinely positive attitude. She also mentioned how hard the team works to keep the restaurant clean, especially the restrooms, and I have to agree the bathrooms were spotless and very well maintained. Tiffany was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. It's employees like her who make people want to come back. Great food, excellent service, and a clean restaurant. Keep up the great work, Tiffany and the Troy Culver's team!

Tonight, as is often the case, the side salad was in the bag on top of the hot food. If it had stayed there for the twenty minute ride home, it would have been well and truly wilted. I removed it but it was late, and dark, and I didn't see that the salad was also not fresh: some of the lettuce had black slimy bits. The raspberry topping was missing from the order. When I went inside the store to get the raspberry topping, the kid who was helping me tried to give me a packet of raspberry salad dressing. At least when I did get the actual topping there was a solid lid on the container rather than the dome lid with the large hole on top that seems to be Culver's default when it is ordered to-go (this makes NO sense to me when you're filling to-go orders: people need to get their food home without spilling it. Those dome lids are the next best thing to handing customers cups of topping without any lid at all). Just a little common sense and attention to detail would make me a happy customer. Sad to say, at the Troy Culver's I can't remember the last time all the items ordered were in the bag, or that there wasn't something wrong with the food itself. This all really makes me think I'd rather skip Culver's and just go somewhere else.
