I want to like this place so badly, but the coffee is just so inconsistent. I order a double-double iced vanilla coffee every time. I'm pretty chill if there's a little variability. However, sometimes it's perfect, other times it's WAY too sweet, or barely sweet at all, or watery, or it barely has any ice. I just don't get it. This establishment is NEVER consistent. I literally get the same thing every time and they some how mess it up EVERY TIME. They never stir my coffee, it's like they just dump the ingredients and push it out the window. The staff suck cause they all are pushy or rude af. I asked TODAY 8/6/2019 for a medium Carmel iced coffee 3 creams and 3 sugars and I got a hazelnut iced coffee with no cream or sugar. We tried to use our rewards and they didn't take them. Trying to order food the guy kept asking us to repeat our order. Then in the middle of us ordering a lady started to take our order and our order was messed up. Y'alls donuts are gross af. First of all, for the price on their coffee drinks, they should offer actual cappucinos instead of re-constituted flavor powder or whatever they use. The main reason why I gave them such a low score is because whenever I have stopped there in the early morning (around 5am) to get a bite on my way to work, I have noticed that the person will handle my food, then take my money, then go back to handling my food without ever taking off their gloves or washing their hands....eeewwww. This is not your typical Tim Horton's. The food is of the same high quality I expect, but the staff is far from professional and the dining area is unclean and uncomfortable. On the last visit an employee on break was playing music or other audio on his cell phone loud enough to hear throughout the restaurant while bantering with the employees in the kitchen. I only stop at Tim Hortons when I have some type of coupon otherwise the price is much to high. The regular coffee is not bad but everything else just makes me shake my head trying to figure out who would pay this much for what you get. Tim Hortons, where they put the "cuss" in customer service! It's a mixed bag, sometimes everything's good, other times, well, you just need to double check your order and make sure your coffee kids are secure before leaving the drive thru window. Their breakfast sandwiches are good, the coffee is okay, the doughnuts are honestly put to shame by Walmart's. We keep going back because there aren't many other options in Troy. Every Sunday my daughter and I have breakfast here. Nice group of people working here. Always friendly and helpful. If you're expecting Starbucks type coffee and atmosphere that's not Tim Hortons. I have been to this Tim Horton's 6 times on different days and I must say that the coffee and food offerings are sub par at best. Plus the prices are very high for items and the portion you do get. The coffee tasted watered down, weak and cafeteria aftertaste. Like it was a reconstituted product and not a fresh cup. the food is not as tasty as they look on the commercials. The biscuit was hard and tacky, the doughnuts are not good at all. they are chalky and not as tasty as Walmart Troys doughnuts. We just choose to not go there anymore. read more

Ordered a white hot chocolate, 2 doughnuts, and a box of timbits. Got to the window and they handed us 2 snack wraps in a carton sleeve. We asked what it was and they said did you not order wraps? They then yelled back to the other workers and said that they were supposed to go to the next people. They laid it on the counter and I watched closely and they put it in a to go bag and handed it to the person behind us. It was not in a bag when they handed it to us, we touched it and my husband smelled the box and they did not make a new one. I worked there. It is one of the most unprofessional places I have ever worked. I called and told them I quit. She had me sign something saying I was a no call no show in order to get my check. I quit because the assistant manager yelled at an employee at the front counter arguing away and a shift leader wanted to do nothing but talk crap about another shift leader and if I didn't want to join in or talked to the other shift leader in a friendly manner I was treated like crap. Took my daughter there for breakfast this morning. No greeting when we approached the girl at the register so I said "Hi", still nothing, not even the crack of a smile so I ordered 2 bagel sandwiches, one for here, one to go (for my other daughter at home). Another employee brings the bagel sandwiches on plates, the other girl tells her the second one is to go. The girl that brought them takes the plate out from underneath, throws it under the counter. Walks off, I'm thinking to get us a to-go bag..nope, never comes back, just leaves me standing there so I finally take my bagel off the counter. As we left, no "thank you", "have a good day", nothing. It's like the employees try to go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. This wasn't just a one time thing either, I've felt that way every time I've come here. I'm sticking to Panera. At least you get unlimited refills of coffee while you're inside at Panera. I decided to add a review after reading the not so friendly ones. Tims doughnuts are always freshly made and yummy. When I go inside with my grandchildren they are warmly received and they ask to go there repeatedly. I have found it is best to only buy coffee at any establishment when it is busy as you know the coffee is fresh. And sadly yes the younger employees could make eye contact once in a while. read more
