Customer service was great. Employees are always so kind and welcoming. I ordered a Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte with Whipped Cream. They forgot the whipped cream so I told them and they were so appoloigetic, which they really don't need to be. I understand that they can mess up some times and I really don't care because I have all the time in the world. An extra 1-2 minutes really does not matter. It is always calm and vibey and just has such a good aroma. Even If you don't order anything there, It is an amazing place to study for people with adhd who can't focus when there's too much or too little going on. When I had gotten my order everything tasted so good. Literally perfect, nothing I would change about it. That is just my opinion though. I recommend the Better than Sex cake. Beautiful, old hotel-like lobby. Coffees are very good. Never had anything to eat there. It's the best coffee I've had in town. The younger staff are generally friendlier. Lines can l sometimes be long, but the ambiance is worth it. A good place to meet a friend, or go on a first date. read more

Super cute coffee shop! The atmosphere of the place is awesome! It's so cute and comfy! And big! Plenty of places to sit here. There's even a diner located at the back of the shop (diner is cash only but the coffee shop takes cards, as well. ) But even the restrooms were adorable! Look at that potty! It's got a pull chain! The menu looked great to me, although to be honest, I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't really know what I'm looking at when it comes to coffee. I'm a tea gal so I chose from their list of teas; matcha tea for me with a little agave. It was great! Tastes just like matcha. A friend and I also split their bacon quiche and baked French toast. Both were amazing! Those blueberries on that French toast were enormous! Oh! They also have what the menu says is "BTS Cake".... It's not what I thought it was (where's ARMY at? :) ) but it did look delicious! We later returned the same day to try their bubble tea. They do have a list of flavors and bobas to try so mix it up! I had the pomegranate green tea with passion fruit bobas. My friend had the mango green tea (I think) with blueberry bobas. Both were good, green tea based bubble teas. Next time, we will try that milk tea! It's a great spot to get some work or studying done, grab and go, or catch up with an old friend. For starters, I'm thrilled to see there are already three reviews for Coffee Pot! I grew up knowing this business as Broadway Joe's. A perfect afternoon in Greenville typically consisted of a chai from Joe's and lunch at Montage. Fast forward to 2013 and the shop still has its old charm along with a new beastly wooden bar to mix things up (bar for beauty, not so much bar for liquor). When you walk in be sure to look up to appreciate the pully fan system and classic tin roof. Features such as these along with creaky floors, mismatched furniture and large picture windows definitely add to the charm. My most recent visit was brief but it included two key purchases: *Brittany's day to day chai test: this one is my fault - to self: "oh, Brittany, be healthy and opt for the almond milk." To self after drinking said almond milk chai: "Brittany, why the hell did you destroy this drink?" Needless to say, the chai has potential - I just wouldn't recommend opting for almond milk. *Made-from-scratch baked goods - beauties like lemon meringue pie are displayed in a glass case for those of us who are apt to caving. Today was no exception, the lemon whoopie pie won me over. Although it wasn't quite as mind blowing as I expected, I definitely recommend giving any of their baked treats a whirl! read more

Coffee was delicious! Bacon cheddar quiche was beyond soggy. Bagels were nicely toasted but I expected cream cheese on in, not nectar to it. Had two different scones, yummy but dry. On select weekends, especially during First Friday's downtown, they have live music. This place is an absolute gem and worth visiting for the wall art alone (but the coffee is exceptional too!). Located on the Main Street, once you enter the doors it's as if you stepped into a delightful new world. It's spacious and elegantly decorated, plus there's plenty of seating options whether you'd like to choose a comfy chair near the bookshelves or a marble table with chairs to get some work done. I adore the Christmas-themed handmade painted art that was on display in the front windows and found out from the owner, while he made my tasty toasted marshmallow mocha, that he picks a new theme every year. My mom grew up in Greenville, OH so the whole family was visiting Labor Day weekend. I live in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area where Counter Culture Coffee dominates, but there's also a thriving community of local roasters. I love supporting local businesses, and was happy to patronize The Coffee Pot. When my sister asked if they had any pour over options I think the barista was cued into the fact that we weren't from the area. I didn't necessarily have high expectations for my cappuccino, in fact, I was just happy to have something other than Charbucks coffee at the airport. I was pleasantly surprised with how much care the barista took to prepare my cappuccino. He seemed almost apologetic about the latte art not being up to his standard, but again, I appreciated his care. The foam was silky and tight, and the espresso was rich and flavorful. Outside of the coffee, the ambiance is wonderful. What a beautifully designed space. I love the industrial style fans and ornate ceilings. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. The food is also great. The quiche was delicious and so are the baked goods. I would be there every day if I lived in Greenville! read more

This guy may have a Super Bowl Ting, but he has done this community a favorite by creating this wonderful space. The Coffee Pot is such an amazing coffee house with such a diverse crowd! You will see hipsters with fedoras and beards next to an interesting man with an "I Love Bacon" shirt on. This place appeals to so many different types of people because they offer great products! You can eat lunch here, but I always come for the coffee! The Coffee is absolutely Wonderful! I always order a regular coffee and grab some sort of dessert! I must also give the staff props for being so good!!! What is better than homemade pies with flaky crusts? They do have delicious scones and brownies, but grab a piece of pie!! I highly recommend the custard, butterscotch, peanut butter pies and my favorite the raspberry cream! The desserts are ridiculous. I am not a cake person, but the better than sex cake lives up to its name! Let's talk about atmosphere! I am a history nerd and appreciate the old buildings!!! This place is beautiful with intricate woodwork, a belt-fan system and a restroom reminiscent of 1940. The pie put a smile on my face, but when the a Band of Horses song came over the speakers....I knew I found my place! Visiting a friend in town, we decided to come in for an after dinner beverage and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised by the charm of this coffee house from the decor, atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and variety of coffee and tea selections to the homemade pies and desserts. Love this coffee shop and frequent it often. Good coffee and really superb food and baked goods. My three year old son is in love with the pies. The atmosphere tops this establishment off with an antiquated decor and plenty of seating for groups. It's a wonderful place to relax and read, enjoy a Bible study or meet with a group of old friends. Highly recommended. Also, as a side note, they also offer live entertainment from time to time and would make for a wonderful romantic evening for a date or celebration of some kind. read more
