He told us that they have a vast selection and we should be able to find what we want. If we couldn't find it, he said they could order it but it could take weeks to arrive so he nudged us to go ASAP. We went as soon as our schedule allowed for it and surprisingly PAL was very easy to find. They have a private lot with ample parking. The staff here is very friendly and we were greeted almost immediately. Everyone was quite nice and assisted us from selecting the design we were looking for to rolling up the 4 x 8 sheet to put into our vehicle. The whole process was seamless. We found one finish that we were looking for but unfortunately the other finish we wanted was not available. If they had it, we would have purchased that from them too. Very reasonable pricing and we highly recommend them when looking for building supplies, kitchen, bathroom and flooring.

We called and made an appointment with Shelby Frank and told her that we were looking for a solid surface for our shower and countertops. At our appointment, Shelby was very helpful with providing information about the Staron solid surface line colors and patterns. She provided samples and even showed us whole sheets so that we could see the entire patterns that you can't see on a small sample. This helped us tremendously in deciding which colors to choose. We appreciate Shelby's help with her can-do attitude and professionalism. Thank you Shelby and Pacific American Lumber.

Yes I know there are other options however you would have to be happy with the product and design as ones kitchen is one place where you go into pretty much every day so if you are going to spend money you should get what you like. We saw that Bella Pietra Design sold Dekton and when I walked into the store I saw so many options for flooring, backslash and showers. You could spend a good two hours looking and imagining what your place could look like as they have lots of varieties to choose from. I had the privilege of talking to Meagan and she showed me around the whole showroom. She is very knowledgeable in the products they sell. She was educating me the pros and cons with the different stones. One of the things that make it hard to pick out a certain design is that the samples are small and you can't see the while sheet. That's where Meagan told me she could set up a special showing of the whole sheet so we can get the actual feel and look of the design. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend coming down to see all the different options you could do to renovate or for your new build.

We chose a quartz that was in stock to save time, so I cannot image what the time-frame would have become if we'd special-ordered something. Summary of some (not all) of our experience: 1. They were back-logged from accepting more orders than they could handle. 2. First measurements were incomplete. 3. Edge was not correct, but re-doing would add "about 3 months" time since they were so busy. They refunded fee we'd paid for the edge, but we have to live with it. 4. Did not fit properly and piece was missing, then took several more weeks for another installer to be available to put in the forgotten piece. 5. The people in the shop were all very nice, but the owner was never on-island and they had to wait for "the boss" to call in to schedule things or decide remedies. They need an on-site manger with some authority. In the end, we are satisfied with the countertop appearance but the hassle and 20 week process would prevent me from recommending Stone Concepts.

Probably spent around $250,000 to renovate the pool area at my house and they never finished the job. Best I can piece together, after stringing me along for six months waiting for tiles to complete the project that never came, is that the pavers they sold me are no longer available. I must have been sold a "clearance item" without even a clearance price tag (not that I would have chosen to buy closeout products for exactly this reason). My only recourse now, since I cannot get the pavers to complete the project, is to rip the whole damn thing out and start over -- and hope the next contractor is more reputable.

From the first meeting (with the delightful and knowledgeable Michelle), through the quote process, to installation, it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. Late in the engagement, we discovered a significant error (my mistake), and they sprung into action to rectify it and did so in the most professional and fair way possible. We had a massive 8'x8' island that required the joining of two slabs. Their work was so flawless that we play a game with guests, asking them to find the seam -- it takes quite an effort. Todd Branson specializes in premium countertops, so it didn't seem like he could come down to our budget. But he just happens to have some single slabs left over from larger projects. We came to an agreement very quickly and his account manager, Michelle, was very easy to work with. Todd came to our home to personally to take measurements for cutting the slab. Todd arrived as expected right on time. He set up some very sensitive laser equipment to perform the task. He listened to our design preferences and made us aware of options such as increasing the edge height to hide the sub-countertop. Todd's measurements must have been very good because the installation only took a couple of hours. He got as much stone out of that slab as humanly possible and apologized for not having enough to make one of the seams disappear. It is the most beautiful countertop we have ever seen.
