Drove 15 minutes from the hotel, picked up order and got back to the hotel to find no dressing for the salad. We had lunch here today and the food was fine but very expensive. The host seated us promptly but had no personality. He was indifferent. Not offensive, but did not add anything to the experience. Our waiter was fine but we never saw him between placing our order and when he delivered the bill. For us that is an automatic one star demerit. So, ok place but likely won't go back. My mom and I went here for my birthday. Neither of us were impressed. I ordered the salad with strawberries and goat cheese. I was disappointed as there were only three very small balls of breaded goat cheese. I also added chicken to the salad, which was not served with the salad. It came late, my mom ordered the veggie burger, which was supposedly made in house. It was the driest veggie burger possible, and the chips tasted like cardboard. No one ever came to refill our waters. After our meal, we used the restroom. The paper towels were not in the paper towel holder, and there was no soap. I found Pure Kitchen through both a google and yelp search. Looked over their menu and decided that I wanted to go visit here for our meal out. Positives : -menu is clearly labeled for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free (this always gets bonus points in my book) -there were several choices for those with special dietary needs -though the restaurant is not overly large they make great use of their space. Plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor -modern looking and clean -Staff was friendly -Food was tasty and flavorful Negatives : -really only one. Prices are a little higher end. I live a short walk from this place and really want to like it here. Last January I decided to take a long break after my Foundation tried to have a celebration dinner here, unfortunately our server was rude and walked out of her shift. Nobody stepped to help except an off duty staff member. We were there for 3 1/2 hours while they tried to figure out the bill. Yesterday I went back and ordered a simple hummus appetizer that never made it to our table until an hour later. He blamed the kitchen for placing it in the fridge. It was frozen and awful. We then watched him leave the restaurant and never came back. This place has solid food but a long history of RUDE staff members that drink on the job and terrible service. Certain things are here were so good but they had to mess with perfection and take away the lamb burger. The Brussels sprouts - equally a formerly like dish is now not as crunchy and is served with some orange type sauce. Put in the order and received the order timely. My husband and I were not that hungry so we decided to split the meatza flatbread. It wasn't a bad flatbread, but it wasn't great by any means either. I wouldn't order it again. My biggest issue is that the crust was just drenched - I'm not sure in what, but it was just an oily mess to hold - you can see the box is also drenched. I was leaving Breck to start on my trip home and decided to stop in at Pure Kitchen to grab something to eat. I'm glad I found this hidden gem. They had tons of healthy and delicious sounding options to choose from, there's something on this menu for everyone. I got the Super Food Salad and added Organic Grass-Fed Steak and it was awesome. Their healthy ingredients, sustainable and nutritious concept is a good theory but translates to bland and kind of weird tasting food. Crispy brussels sprouts - super crispy and definitely fried which made them delicious but certainly not healthy. Roasted red pepper hummus - had a weird watery texture and wasn't very flavorful. Organic grass fed beef burger - quite bland and dry as well. The side salad was good though. My friends got different bowls and also said their dishes were quite bland. The service was great and our waiter was nice but the food unfortunately just didn't hit the spot. read more

We had to walk out as there was nothing on menu they could serve. Here how it went Round1: server comes takes order for drinks. I request for kids menu order and appetizers as flatbread.. He looks up and says out of cheese cant do pizza for kids. I was like then how can you do flat bread he says "ohh yes cant do that as well" Round2: me: "Can you do corn dogs?" server: "Sorry out of it..." Round 3: me being very patient "ok then I can see nuggets" server: "Actually we are out of all kids menu" Round 4: I take look at menu again.. I convince my 4 year old about to breakdown that we should get salmon from regular menu.. Wow, the food here is so good! My understanding is that this place tries to provide fresh ingredients and is a little more expensive.. Driving thru the area we stopped to eat here after some locals suggested the spot. We did get some weird looks here (I'm assuming some don't see people who look like us here often), but these looks were from the guests and not staff, so I won't consider that in the review. The good *Lamb Burger - was amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect, but felt adventurous lol. This completely exceeded my expectations. Probably a little salty for some, but sheesh this thing was so tasty. *Thai noodle bowl - This had great flavor. Love the variety in the dish with different textures and veggies adding unique flavors. Truly a really well put together dish and very filling. The staff was really nice and threw in homemade chips for free because we were curious about them, and we really enjoyed them. Simple chips with sea salt, but had a freshness and nice crisp texture to them. definitely tasty. The not so good I also ordered some salad and yeah.... I'm sure some people eat their spinach even while it is liquidly and decomposing, but I don't like that lol. Some of the salad was fine, other parts were sticking together old/wet. Not ideal. All and all I'd love to try more of the menu. this restaurant had great tasting dishes that were thoughtfully created and interesting. While on vacation in the Frisco area, we stumbled across this lovely restaurant. One in our party is vegetarian, and the other is celiac/gluten free. It is good to find a gluten free restaurant in the mountains. We ate at Pure Kitchen a total of three times this past week. Our first two nights were fine: excellent food and service. On night #3, we had the asparagus soup, the spring rolls and the stir fry. Within minutes of eating the soup, my stomach was churning. At the end of the meal, I spent 15 minutes in the bathroom in gastric distress. Later in the evening, both my husband and I spent most of the night in great distress. Even the next day, he is sick as a dog. Was this food poisoning? Who knows. We called the restaurant and they took no responsibility for the possibility of food poisoning. "Our cooks would've sampled the food, and they are all fine". Since we did not eat out anywhere else the night (or day) we got so ill, we can only assume that what we were served at Pure Kitchen caused us to be so sick. I would hope that Pure Kitchen would WANT to know if their customers got ill, and do something to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Sorry but we won't be eating there again any time soon.
