I would give you this place 3.5 stars. I come here somewhat often when my kids want macaroons. They have some character ones on display but they don't even have half of the designs that they display. Should indicate 4 $$$$ instead of 1 $. Was quoted $180 for a 10" cake with a photo on it. Left the place & found another bakery charging $50 if you bring the edible photo.... Other than it being a beautiful place....don't see how any bakery can charge that much for a 10" cake that only needed a picture on it. Nice products and friendly staff!! This place makes ITALIAN meringue macarons, which means it has a flakier and crunchier shell compared to your normal french meringue macarons! I see a lot of reviews regarding their texture and I'm hoping this will help. I recommend their chocolate strawberry cupcake and also their egg puff with pork sung! read more

I found the cupcake to be very so so. I wish it was sweeter with more of creaminess to it. At the end I think when it comes to food review it very subjective due to the reviewer pallet. I feel if I am eating a cupcake I want it to be sweet and the bread to be moist. I got an assortment of cupcakes and none of the cupcake stood out. I will not comeback. MACARONS to expensive $2. Ordered a dozen. I lost my excitement. I can only taste sugar, sweet that's it, nothing else I cannot recognize one flavor to another. Lychee, Taro, thai tea, green tea, red velvet nothing bold with the flavor. Only Nutella and Cookie butter has a flavor because it is out of the jar. I am really disappointed. I've been here twice and their cupcakes are good, but they're not good enough to be as pricy as they are. The cupcakes are way too small and they look like I could have baked them at home. I've been to better and bigger bakeries that are more reputable and their cupcakes are larger and cheaper than this place. This bakery is charging way too much for what they are offering. This review is for the samoas cupcake and original egg puff. I decided to give this place a shot because I was really craving a cupcake and didn't want to drive to chino hills or brea. I went on a Tuesday around 5pm not busy at all. The girl that helped me was a young girl, probably in high school, super sweet, but when I asked her about their cupcakes it didn't seem like she knew much about all of them so the other guy working just explained what some of their cupcakes were. I waited about 5 min or so for my puff pastry, and while I was waiting it was just kind of dead in there. No music playing, nothing. The egg puff was just okay, I've had much better ones, for a lot cheaper! $4 for one, I probably expected more for $4. Also the cupcake is normal cupcake price at 2.95, but it was super small! And the cake (base) was really dry -_- I really wanted this place to be great, but next time I'll just make the drive to Merely Sweets or Dolcissimo for a better quality cupcake. read more

My cousins, who were visiting, were excited to come here after seeing the Yelp reviews and the photos. We were hoping to go and get one of the cute character macaroons they feature in the pictures on Yelp. When we came in they had a ton of them in cases for displaying purposes and a pile on display near the simple macaroons. My cousins were hoping to get a character like a minion or Baymax (since people in other reviews said his was really good). When we asked the lady behind the counter she said they're no longer making those. What a bummer. That was the purpose of going there since it's so much closer than Honey and Butter. They said they're making their own line now and showed us a small handwritten list of what they had that day. There were about 10-12 to choose from all of which were animals. Since we were there, we got a turtle and a tiger. A man and the lady went into the back to get them for us. A minute or 2 later, she came out with them and said to not eat them for a while because they were still really cold. They were practically frozen they were so hard. My cousins said they didn't really like the flavor that much either which was disappointing. Not sure I'll be back. read more

Don't be suckered in by the cute character macarons they make. They are cute but very pricey. The regular flavors are $2 each. They actually have some cool flavors like samoa, thai tea, earl tea, coffee etc. A bit pricer than other places I've been. The cafe also sells drinks and some sandwiches but my review is only based on the macarons since that's all I purchased. Arriving to the cafe, I was the only customer there. A younger asian woman helped me and boy did she make me feel like I wasn't welcomed. Obviously, it was my first time there so it took me a while to look around and to check out prices and products they had. I felt very rushed, and if my questions about price and their products were annoying her from the tone of her voice and facial expressions. Her answers were very short as if she didn't want to answer my questions. I asked if they had more macarons then what was displayed and she said "we have more". I asked how much was for the small purple box of macarons, she said "$12". At this point I was annoyed myself and resisted in asking any additional questions. To be honest, there's always a nicer way to respond to customer questions. Such as, "the small box is $12 and you get to pick 6 and we have a bigger box that fits 12 if you want more". Is it too much to ask for people to be polite. Anyways, I bought some of the regular macarons and I can agree with some other yelpers that the macarons were not consistent. Some were moist and some were very hard. So unfortunate, I really wanted to like this place because I love macarons. read more

cool little spot. lots of parking. nice people. family owned i believe. there were lots of options too and i wanted to try them all. they even have macaroon characters! egg puff which i think its hard to find. bomb. you can add stuff on it to make it dessert. they have smores cupcakes! and cheesecakes in a cup. other cool stuff too. paninis. smoothies and other drinks. all healthy. even though its a bakery you can sit and chill. read more

Been here several times, and I decided to quit giving this place a chance. I've tried all, ALL the macarons and they need to fix the recipe. Falls apart, airy and sometimes too sweet. Inconsistent in their size and flavors. I've bought a couple dozen in cupcakes, and they do not impress. Got several flavors, not even chocolate did it for us. Only thing they got going is the drinks, lychee was not bad. However, they weren't enough to come back. I really wanted to like this place too. read more

I took it home the some chicken meat is still red not done, pesto sauce they put on the panini was scanty, not much and it cost about $9, I don't think it worth that much, and the chicken is not cooked. I tried 4 different (Taro, samoa, lychee & sesame) macaroons. They are $2 each. Size is VERY VERY small compares to most other bakeries. Macaroons are dry and the macaroon filling is bland. Dropped by this place last night to satisfy a macaron craving. I purchased a box of 6, which cost $12. The flavors I chose were thai tea, cookie butter(?), mango, and horchata. The macarons were really flakey and fell apart with the first bite. The cookie itself was light, airy, and flakey, and melted in my mouth. However the filling for most of these macarons was rock hard and a little bit hard to swallow. It was also a little filmy on my tongue afterward. The thai tea and horchata macarons packed a lot of flavor, but there was little to no flavor in the mango and cookie butter macarons. All in all they were alright. I'd return only for the horchata flavored macarons, but if I could find them somewhere else I'd try there instead. read more

I went here last night with my best friend after our hike. I was really ecstatic to try it because of what I saw on Yelp. The decor and the layout of the bakery is really cute.Anyways, I didn't want any macaroons because I've never been a huge fan of them so I opted for cupcakes instead. I ended up getting two banana Nutella cupcakes and as I go up to pay, the girl behind the register told me that there is a $10.00 minimum in order for me to use my card. I was like okay, I do not want $10.00 worth of stuff, so go ahead and charge me the extra couple of cents for the bank fee. She told me there wasn't a bank fee, so my problem with this is WHY DOES IT MATTER HOW MUCH I SPEND THEN? You know, she could've said something before I ordered or have a sign out for customers to know that if you decide to use your card, you better spend $10.00 or more. Anyways, she said she will let it go this time so that way I can try it. I've never experience this problem with any other bakery before, they are typically happy to swipe my card and take my money. The cupcake was good, but this whole incident really left a bad taste in my mouth so I won't be spending my money here ever again. read more

I am truly at a loss for words here. I was hoping for some nice handmade pastries with sweet fruity flavors that would satisfy my sweet tooth. Unfortunately I was left crushingly disappointed by the lack of depth or flavor from these desserts. The macaroons while perfect in texture we're utterly devoid of any flavor besides that of a bland pastry, no raspberry flavor, no mango flavor, and only the faintest hint of caramel. The cupcakes tasted more like cheap muffins and we're lacking any hint of strawberry flavor while being overpowered with the taste of raw cocoa powder in the chocolate muffin. The s'mores cupcake tasted simply like a muffin with powdered sugar over the top and the red velvet cupcake lacked the traditional flavors of red velvet while also having a sickeningly sweet and watery cream cheese icing. A true disappoint in almost every way imaginable, and grossly overpriced for such poorly crafted confections. read more
