Ok-average neighborhood asian bakery (it's located in the vons plaza). They have bread and cakes. Cake is available at store, unless it's custom design or size. They can write on the cake too, it will be the typical red handwriting. Fruits on the cake are fresh and crisp, also decorated very nicely. The cake comes in 3 thin layer and filled with loaded chopped fruits between layers (you can request what fruits you want if you call ahead). This cake has more fruit than cake. Whipped cream has nice texture but isn't as tasty though.

I buy my cakes from this location.at least 5 times a year I order a cake on new years eve and the cake had egg she on it all my guest refuse to eat the cake after they had pcs of egg shell in there cake it's all inconvenient when you order and the workers don't speak English and they don't understand what your asking for I don't think I'm going back anymore they need to be more careful on there prep.

4-tier wedding cake made with fresh cream and fresh fruit.

This little bakeshop is all about making delicious pastries, cakes, Taiwanese sandwiches and snacks. It's my go-to place for a quick n' yummy breakfast or tea party pastries. it's a traditional bakeshop, nothing fancy. But they know what they are doing. Their owner, Leo and I created a lot beautiful and delicious wedding cakes together. He is very easy to work with and will go the extra miles to meet your request. They are specialized in fresh cream cake with fresh fruit ingredients. And their price is really reasonable, too. This is definitely a hidden jewel in our neighborhood. Check out some of the wedding cakes we designed together.

Over priced cake, fruit was not fresh, the bakery is dingy and dirty.

Nini... Nope, nope nope. Dingy small bakery. Terrible customer service, rude and unpleasant. The place has filthy floors and walls. I bought an over priced cake for my aunts birthday for $36 and a boba tea for my daughter $3.75, the cake was just ok, my daughter said that boba was good. In my opinion, it is not worth the money. Plus, the place looks run down and needs a good cleaning. This was our first visit. ****The biggest reason for my 1 star review was based on the 2nd visit: My teen daughter went a couple of weeks later for a boba tea $3.75 plus tax. She gave the cashier her debit card to pay. The cashier took my daughter's card and holds on to it. She tells her that she will not give it back until she spends at least $10. My daughter is a teen, so she didn't know that this is against California consumer protection laws. The cashier refused to give my daughter her debit card back and told her that she would not give her, her card back until she bought something in addition to the boba. My daughter picked out two small cakes and the boba tea and the cashier said the total is $9.98 so she is 2 cents short of $10! The cashier then says she needs to buy another item! At this point, my daughter is scared and worried that she will not get her debit card back, so she adds another small cake. At this point the bill is almost $13! This is extortion! First of all, there is no law that says that you must spend $10 to use a credit/debit card. What is really happening her is that the cashier at Nini Bakery, saw my daughter is young and inexperienced and decided to take advantage of her by making her buy more items just to get her card back! What the cashier should have done is to make an exception and ring her up for the $4 drink! Or she should have just handed my daughter her debit card back and said "sorry I only take cash on small purchases." But because she had already made the boba tea she didn't want to lose the sale and wanted my daughter to spend more money than she intended to. That is sneaky and crafty and downright unlawful. The "cash only" days are over, this business needs to get with the program. Most people use cards or Apple Pay/Google Pay. Aside from that what this woman did is extortion and criminal. You can not keep someone's debit card just because they aren't spending the amount that you want. Nini Bakery, you lost our business forever! We will never go into your bakery and this is a warning to everyone... don't patronize places like this. If they want you to pay cash only, it is probably because they are not reporting their sales!

First time purchasing from here today 04/25/19 and I will not be back. I heard about this place through my co workers because they always purchase their birthday cakes here. I've tried several different cakes from here and loved all of them. Today I came by to buy a small cake for my sisters birthday. Granted I was in a hurry I looked at the display case, picked the one I wanted and told the cashier who then packaged it for me. When I got home and opened the cake I was appalled at what I saw. They had sold me a cake that I don't know how many days old it was and how long it had been sitting in the display case. The fruits on there were dry and shriveled. The cake itself was hard to the touch. I am very disappointed they sold me an old cake. Shame on them. I trusted them to sell me something fresh not old. Not only that the cashier didn't even bother telling me the cake was old.

I would recommend this bakery to anyone that wants a custom cake at a decent price. 1/4 sheet custom design and flavor cake for $65 The bakery had mixed up my cake design (golf theme baby shower cake) with a restaurant's anniversary cake (restaurant logo) when I went to pick it up on the day of my friend's baby shower. The staff was able to locate the bakery chef who happened to be at the Diamond Bar location. The bakery chef was able to make me a fresh cake in about 30 minutes and the cake design looked like the photo I had given them. The cake tasted great and they have REALLY good black tea as well.

Friendly staff :) Great deal on catering deals! I love this bakery, not just because of the yummy pastry but also the friendly staff! The staff had helped me a few times with last minute party tray order for meetings, I just need to give them the budget and they will help create a nice mixture of yummy party tray. Love hearing WOW and seeing happy smiles from my friends who shared the yummy party tray! I had ordered these from Nini * $5 breakfast combo box $3 per person for mixer $65 custom make half sheet Birthday Cake

I needed a cake for a birthday, so I decided to come here since it is close to my house. They had a good selection of cakes on a saturday morning. The cakes all looked so good and fresh, I ended up getting the Tiramisu cake, and I'm so glad I did. It was so delicious and everyone loved it, I will be coming back for more cakes in the future.

Very traditional Chinese Bakery. Not carry a lot of kinds of bread!! Store is small and dark. Their cake was good. I could tasty they were using fresh ingredients. I bought a mango mousse for my friend's birthday. I could tasty the mousse were made by fresh mango. I have tried many bakery like Portia's bakery and 85 degree. Their mousse tastes using mango powder. Another cake you may want to try out is taro cake. Taro filling is good. I was surprised they sold macaroons. Since I am not macaroons lover, I didn't try it.

Got my pineapple with peanut bread, pineapple plum cookie, coffee cookie, green tea red bean cake roll, iced grape tea and iced black tea from this place. Not impressed with both the quality and th service. I went there more than once and every single time was a disappointment. The drinks were not mixed well. I could see and taste sugar at the bottom of my drinks. The drinks were cheap though, it's only $1.35 including tax. You get a free drink if you buy more than $10. $10 minimum for credit card. 2 stars!! Nini Bakery is not yummylicious!!

Very delicious and soft cake, and this place can customize cakes based on customers requests, very convenient.

    Totally rad Ultraman custom cake!

This is a review for a custom cake that my friend ordered and we went to go pick up! See pic of ultra-rad Ultraman cake: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/nini-bakery-hacienda-heights?select=Gin2_oKs79gaOYrrI-TgUA#yUpzhjGaphI9D2Oo4EpRxw This cost $110 which seemed pretty reasonable since it's in the shape of him, and the piping looks like it took forever! It's also really delicious as it was a not-too-sweet chocolate cake with EGG PUDDING inside. You know, the same kind they put in the boba drinks! Really good!! The cream wasn't too sweet either, which was a bonus! They also have 2 for $3 Macarons, and other well-designed pastries and cakes that we'll have to try next time! :)

Lately (especially since one of their family members had an unfortunate accident), it's been frustrating to try to get anything: they don't make the butterflies every week, and I've made 4 trips to over the past month and a half and only succeeded in getting anything at all on one occasion. First trip was mid-January. Turns out that was the first day they had reduced hours because of the injury and I was there an hour after they closed. Second trip (about a month later): they didn't have butterflies until the week after. Third trip the following week: I forgot about the family member who was out (or maybe I thought they'd be back because that's how we do), so I artived after close again. Fourth trip: finally got the goods! Was it worth it? The almond cookies were good, but the butterflies were a bit flat and not airy, like they were just deep-fried wonton skins with thickened sugar syrup on them. Both times (out of 4 attempts!) I actually caught them when they were open (granted, I'm an early afternoon person, not an early morning one), there were only 1 or 2 cakes in the case, a bunch of bags of cookies, and, on the one successful visit, I got the last order of butterflies. Haven't had their strawberry cake in years (that first trip was for my birthday cake, womp womp), but they look the same. Moral of the story: get there early or be disappointed...or just drive to Chinatown.
