Came here with my husband for my birthday month! Love their coffee buns--crispy outside and so good! The Blueberry Mojito was surprisingly delicious, refreshing, and not too sweet. The matcha shaved ice was also a treat. Definitely coming back!
I was craving something sweet and summery after having sushi next door and this was PERFECT. I haven't had Korean shaved ice in so long this brought back memories and absolute bliss. It hit the spot amongst the four of us and my fiance immediately asked "is there anything like this in Denver?" So he already wanted the flavor to continue back at home lol perfect amount of watermelon, sweetness, and happiness.
For some reason whenever I'm in the City of Industry area I always end up stopping by this spot. I usually come for their freshly baked coffee bun. The buns are soft with a slightly crispy crust on top which is really good. It kind of reminds me of Cantonese bolo buns, but with a Korean twist. When you walk in you can smell the fresh buns baking which makes it even harder to resist. They're honestly pretty addicting and I always find myself wanting another one. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.
Sobok Sobok is a great find in the area. I was looking for a quick breakfast spot and they had a coffee bun with coffee combo. For the price point, it was a good deal! The base of the coffee bun is fluffy and pillowy, making it wonderfully soft to bite into. I got the chocolate flavor and it had that subtle sweetness with a hint of buttery richness. As for the appearance, this is where I think it could have been more visually appealing. It comes in a white paper bag but because the coffee bun is warm, the chocolate chips melted into the paper already! Guess it can't be helped! I was very happy at how warm the coffee bun was on this cold day, complementing the Korean coffee I was drinking with it. As for ambiance, the place had a nice warm glow to it, a perfect place to start your morning or enjoy some time with friends. There were plenty of tables and chairs. I did not get to check for plugs or WiFi but this could be a good candidate as a study spot!
The coffee buns were what drew me in. Ordered a box of 6 (3 original and 3 specialty - yogurt chip, chocolate, and almond). They were all fresh and still warm when we were handed the box. Crispy outsides. Insides were hollow but there was a buttercream flavor located in the middles. So good! Hubs doesn't usually like sweets, but he liked these. Also ordered a pineapple earl grey drink. Love how the drink was packaged, but the drink itself was just ok. I'd return for those buns and maybe to try their bingsoos as well.

Came here for the Injeolmi red bean bingsoo, but the aroma of fresh baked bread was too heavenly to pass up. The cashier was patient while taking our orders. When we got our order, the injeolmi red bean bingsoo was very good. Red bean was not overly sweet. There were a few tables and chairs, as well as counter type seating for dine in. This place is a better choice than S&B, the wait was minimal and parking was readily available.

Located in a big plaza next to an in-and-out Burger. I did not have issue finding a space to park at 11am. The shop has see thru glass which you can see these coffee buns made. I ordered a set of gift with all 5 flavors of coffee buns. I tried 3 of them myself. They are all delicious. Slightly crunchy outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Some flavors could be a bit overly sweet. They are priced fairly, like most bakeries around town. Service was ok, nothing much to comment. They offer touchless payment method thats linked to the phone. Overall, it is good. Probably a good option for office in the morning. Its gets a 4.4 out of 5

It's always a 10 unless something went terrible wrong in the universe. The strawberry shaved ice was taste but way too big for just 2 people to share. The buns remind me of those Chinese pineapple buns you get at a bakery or dim sum. I quite enjoyed all the flavors aside from the original flavor, that one was junk to me. It was savory not in the best way possible. Would I make the 40 min drive again? Idk
Cute little Asian dessert place. I took my family to try their shaved ice. We got the matcha redbean, strawberry, mango and redbean shaved ice bowls. My recommended flavor was the mango. The mochi on them was a bit too hard for me. Coffee bun was light and delicious.

Wish there were more locations. Freshly baked, fluffy, tender coffee buns with just the right amount of sweetness to go with your coffee. By coffee, I mean coffee that you recognize without the names you can't pronounce that are loaded with a ton of sugar like most of the drinks at Starbucks. The best way to describe a coffee bun is like a cross between a Mexican concha and Kings Hawaiian bread. They also offered various flavors of the shell topping with a freshly whipped buttercream inside! I just had the standard house coffee black. Excellent quality coffee bean without the overly roasted bitterness. Smooth and easy. The storefront, dining area and restroom are impeccably clean. Friendly service with a smile. A+++

This spot has been my after lunch dessert place! We finally got to try their coffee buns the last trip and they were sooo good. They are made fresh daily and my only regret is not coming sooner so I could have bought more. We also tried their croffle (croissant waffle) which was a nice hot treat as well. They serve pineapple soft serve here which is my son's favorite and they also have milk soft serve! Will definitely be back next time I get my sushi fix next door. read more
I'm a die-hard fan of Sobok Sobok Coffee Bun in Rowland Heights! And guess what? These coffee buns are non-caffeinated, so kids can enjoy them too! A great spot for unique sweet treats in Rowland Heights. The coffee buns are the thing to get here. When you walk inside, you definitely smell the aroma something yummy is baking. This café surprised me in the best way. Their coffee bun bread is on another level--soft, warm, and perfectly fluffy, the kind of bun that melts into your coffee and makes the whole experience feel luxurious. The owner even mentioned that customers come all the way from the East Coast and other states just to enjoy these buns, and honestly... I get it. Their original coffee bun is sooo good! Freshly baked, no caffeine, or preservatives. They offer six different bun flavors: Original, Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon, Walnut, Almond, and Yogurt Chip. Original is hands down the best! This place gets very busy so go early if you can. We went around 2pm on a Saturday and they were almost out of a few flavors. They also offer drinks, ice cream, and various flavors of bing soo. I tried their iced Korean Style Coffee. It was okay... nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more
So glad I got to visit Sobok Sobok. It's located in a plaza so parking wasn't an issue. When we walked in there was no crowd or line so we got to order right away. But after a few minutes there was a line forming and the place got crowded. I ordered the box of 6 and got chocolate chip, almond, walnut and cinnamon. I want to say chocolate chip and cinnamon were my fave and it was so delicious I'm having cravings. I also ordered the cold brew float which was also very good!!! I'm definitely coming back! Smelled so delicious with freshly baked coffee buns inviting me into the store. Brought several boxes of buns to bring home and share with friends and family. Made my car smell so yummy too! Was slightly disappointed when eating one at home without heating it up. But next one I ate later in the evening and next morning, was delicious after reheating in the air fryer. Definitely try it fresh and warm! read more

Big parking lot. You walk into the smell of the coffee bread. It's a Korean owned shop. They have some basic coffee. Korean coffee and some flavored latte. I ordered a hot Korean coffee reg flavor, iced ube latte and a box4 that has mini coffee buns. It's so fresh out of the oven that she is telling customers to leave the box open till it's cooled down. read more
My friend & I stopped by here initially wanting to grab coffee but noticed the black sesame latte on the menu. Both of us love black sesame so we tried it & it was good! I was impressed that it wasn't sweet at all. And the coffee bun was addicting. It was so soft & fluffy. Service was friendly & efficient. The ambiance was busy & it smelled like good coffee pastry. Always been curious about Sobok Sobok's coffee buns and finally had the chance to try them. We stopped by and, unfortunately, they were out of the choco chip and almond ones that day. So instead, we went with the original, walnut, and yogurt chip buns to take home and enjoy with coffee. At first, to be honest I wasn't impressed. However, the original coffee bun stood out with its strong, lingering coffee flavor that's almost magical. The next day, I found myself craving it--like I was hooked! Fast forward to Christmas Day: we made a special trip to grab more, since we were glad to find out they were open! only to arrive 40 mins before closing and learn they'd sold out their buns entirely and shut early. It was such a letdown. To make things worse, we picked up a coffee bread from store next door that didn't come close to satisfying our craving :( Sobok Sobok's coffee buns are undeniably delicious, but they seem to sell out quickly, or randomly run out during the day. It would be great if they could bake more to meet demand, especially on busy days. Despite the hiccups, I'll definitely be back--because those original coffee buns are something special. read more

The enticing aroma of coffee led me to this place. On the right side directly after the entrance, there were racks of delicious looking buns topped with a variety of flavors. I decided to order 3 chocolate chips and 3 yogurt chips buns, which came up to $22.90. Well it was worth the price! The buns were so soft and slightly warm, while the chocolate chips were melting away inside the bag. Proofs that these buns were freshly baked and probably just came out of the oven not long before my arrival. I'm actually surprised to know that the buns don't have caffeine on them. There were signs letting customers know that they don't use preservatives nor caffeine for these buns. That's even better since I can safely let my kids enjoy these delicious looking buns. And yes, all of them loved it. We finished all 6 buns in one day. I like the yogurt chips buns while the kids prefer the chocolate chips ones. read more
