It is best tasting the very first day! Order was made quickly! I love their winter melon tea at 50 percent sweetness. They have so many monthly deals, it is hard to pass up. I'm glad I went at night, there was no line. The menu is huge. Inside is pretty quiet and clean.

We were craving Meet Fresh on New Year's Day and stopped by around noon to order takeout. There were no other customers when we walked in. I placed my order with an employee, though I later noticed there's a self-service ordering kiosk near the entrance. Communication was a bit challenging, as the staff at this location speak very limited English. The first employee had to call over another staff member to help with my order, since it seemed like there was some confusion. The seasonal hot almond soup is currently available, so we ordered that along with a build-your-own hot grass jelly with taro paste and mini Qs. This was my first time trying the taro paste and it was excellent - definitely a must-order for taro lovers, and the portion was generous. The grass jelly itself was lacking in sweetness and we had to ask separately for creamer (thought it usually came with it, but I could be misremembering). Unfortunately, the packaging was a miss. The lid on the grass jelly wasn't secured properly, and some of it spilled inside the bag.

I was craving a shave ice dessert after having dinner nearby and was pleased to see Meet Fresh in the area. There are ample parking spots as it's located in a shared plaza. The service was rather poor. No one greets you and there are hand written signs all over the store to direct you on how to self order. Basically you order what you want at a kiosk. There are television menus on display and they are all outdated. There is a menu by the wall, which is also outdated. The kiosk where you self service also has a suggestive tip option, which I don't understand since no one is helping us. My boyfriend and I decided on a large strawberry mango dessert as it was only $1 more compared to the medium. The size is actually GINORMOUS. We added on pudding and mochi ... and the dessert cost almost $20. They only have two small pieces of mochi. I'm used to mochi balls being scattered in the dessert. Anyways, I think that's a pretty steep price for dessert. We couldn't finish it. It was overwhelming. The mango and strawberry toppings also weren't very sweet. However the presentation was nice. PS- The restrooms were "out of order". Not sure I'll be back. There are other more satisfying dessert places in the neighborhood with better customer service and pricing.

Originating from Taichung, Taiwan, Meet Fresh was founded in 2007 by the Fu siblings. Most of the items on the menu were the Fu family's traditional and home cooked recipes. It's known for authentic flavor and dedication to natural, handmade ingredients. The dessert shop did so well in Taiwan that many new locations were opened in various countries. Meet Fresh is my mom's favorite dessert place. We usually go to the Temple City location. Glad that they opened one here near us. It's in the same plaza of Haven City Food Hall with plenty of parking. Interior is cute, clean, and spacious with two claw machines. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They refilled our water and brought it to our table. Most of their items on the menu are delicious and not too sweet. We love their hot red bean soup with sesame balls and signature shaved ice. Their grass jelly is good but it's more to the sweeter side. Great place to hangout after lunch/dinner with friends and family.

I have come here occasionally for their Too Good To Go since it's the only way the prices here can be reasonable. The staff organization/knowledge seems very lacking as they often don't have a clue the specifics about the app orders. People often get pissed waiting for a long time here and I've had customers want to fight me because they everyone was cutting the queue because the waits were so long and the staff doesn't manage the customer expectations or line. I've literally been told by the staff to come back in an hour because they're too behind which seems to be most of the time. I've seen 1 person overwhelmed on a busy day sure... but I've seem the same happen with 5 staff. Something is not right.

We ordered the strawberry mango shaved ice and added in taro balls. They ran out of strawberries so they gave us a free choice of q mochi. The shaved ice was decent, and the q mochi and taro balls were yummy and chewy. The large sized shaved ice we ordered was enough for 5 people. The matcha egg waffle was ok. It was bitter and dry. Needed some condensed milk or something to sweeten and moisten it. Wouldn't recommend ordering. Service was good and the store has plenty of seating, games and claw machines. Good spot to hangout with friends and family.

Oh baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little So why don't you just meet me in the middle?... 4.5/5 Chocolate Deluxe Egg Waffle was good although we could have used a bit more ice cream as it was like 3 parts waffle 1/3 ice cream. The chocolate was good on each little waffle bubble bite, my kids really enjoyed it. Didn't try the chocolate rolls that was all the kiddos. It also has some nuts sprinkled in there. 4/5 Ambiance Indoor and outdoor seating available. Card only no cash. Return tray area near the bathrooms. Both bathrooms were out of service on our visit. They do have board game nights Tuesdays. They have wifi as well but was surprised how empty this location was. 4/5 Parking Parking around the shopping center can get busy but not bad. With a lot of competition in their own backyard this location needs to be on point to keep up especially with the bathrooms. I wonder what this place is like on a Tuesday night. Psalm 1:1, God bless

One of the smallest locations we'v visited. I really like Meet Fresh teas cause they are not sweet and strong enough for me. We came in for green tea and matcha egg waffle. It took a while for our order to come out cause there was only one worker. The tea was tasty and waffle was yummy. Meet Fresh is the best place for Taiwanese desserts!

The food was great and inside was clear and bright but the girl at the counter was moody. I wanted to order and she directed me to the kiosk to do it myself. Not the usual friendly behavior I'd usually get from staff from here. No smile, hello, eye contact or anything that would make me feel welcomed. I supposed that's not that important as long as the food was good and it was. It looked like it was just her and 1 other person in the kitchen area. I ordered it togo because I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. Packaging was nice. Ice cream and shaved iced stayed cold and the boba was warm. Good combo. There was guest Wi-Fi avail, it showed up on my phone but I didn't see the Wi-Fi password posted anywhere so I'm not sure if it's really available for guest use. Otherwise as long as you're there for the food it was fine.

I've always seen the ads but finally gave this place a try and I was throughly impressed by these Taiwanese desserts! Beans in dessert had me shook, but it's the mix of herby grass jelly, cold shaved ice, black sesame balls, and taro balls that when eaten together gives you a deep flavor that almost feels beyond just a dessert. It's a colorful concoction that makes you excited to try it again and again with so many different combinations and toppings you can't go wrong! Big open spaces for you and the crew to get a bowl! Having the electronic kiosk also helps going with a group and you can customize exactly what you want, although the staff is willing to help if you have any questions

Located right at the main entrance of HK Plaza in West Covina. We tried the jelly dessert--perfect for when you're craving something sweet but not overly sugary. I also got a side of sesame balls. They have a kiosk, so you can order either in person or at the machine. Service was quick, and the place was cute. They even have a claw machine and a computer station where kids can play games.

Really reminds me of the mochi back in China and Taiwan. I honestly can't stop ordering the black sesame flavor. My second favorite is the nutty flavor too, which somehow feels both comforting and dangerously easy to finish way too fast. I also love their other desert Chewy Clouds. If I'm going to embrace the carbs, I might as well do it with the cute bear-shaped ones. They're soft, chewy, and just fun to eat. The whole place leans into that playful dessert vibe without feeling too over the top, and service was fast too.

The "milk mochi" texture was really odd to me--it's not something I'm used to. It's not chewy like regular mochi; it's soft like pudding but stretchy. That alone made the bowl hard to get used to. The Summer Serenade was refreshing because of the fruit, but it lacked sweetness. The whole bowl tasted only mildly sweet. The grass jelly bear was cute, but it also lacked sweetness. The coconut pudding bear was better--the texture and flavor were good. The Twilight Pearls had a lot of slimy textures. The taro and black rice felt heavy together, and everything combined felt overly soft and didn't blend well. I would not recommend this. I wouldn't come again. Maybe it's a good dessert for others, but it's not for me. I couldn't finish the Twilight Pearls--it felt like a waste of money.
