I love coming to this location out of all of them because it is always very clean. The parking is shared amongst the other businesses but it is a very busy plaza. My go to Meet Fresh spot cuz it's the closest location to me. I usually get the Mini W Wintermelon Melon Tea for the drink and if I get shaved ice, I usually get the ice grass jelly signature. 6 of us came after lunch, for desserts. we ordered 1 iced and 1 hot desserts (1/3 sugar), plus an egg waffle. the place is very clean, orders are through large panels at the counter or by the door. service was friendly. the desserts are perfect for sweetness. egg waffles were freshly made and hot. mochi and dumplings are chewy and fresh. the total bill was over $30, on the expensive side for bowls of mostly ice and water. they also give away free drink for a Yelp review. which I have no problem with if a business wants to be put on the map. Taiwan Exquisite Desserts, The Private Desserts of Sister and Brother Fu Sister and Brother Fu grew up in a generational farming family in the Feng Yuan District of Taichung, Taiwan. Maybe this place has a loyal local following, but our experience was very disappointing. If you decide to give it a try, I would recommend ordering to-go. You might actually get your food faster. The most upsetting part was that when we tried to ask both the server and the owner about the pricing issue, we were basically ignored. I was initially impressed by the intestines being fried to the point where it's chip crispy. I interpretted it as a bold experiment to push the boundaries of how this item is traditionally prepared. So impressed, I ordered a second round. The second round was unfortunately, humdrum, unsauced, gummy, and flacid. I do think the most notable item on the menu might be the intestine. The cooking technique is there for these items, proper level of cookedness, but the saucing is extremely lacking. The more simple a dish, the more challenging it is stand out. For skewers, it's the size of the cut, the degree to switch it's cooked, and how it's sauced. When I ordered the cheap junmai daigino sake, they tried to pawn off a ginjo grade sake, so that app is mislabeled for sure. When I highlighted that fact, the servers were pretty surprised. I don't know why they're surprised, it says the grade right on the bottle. We were attracted by the "camping" concept, but unfortunately, they claimed that the tent seating were "reserved", despite the fact that it was vacant the entire duration of our meal. Our experience here was unfortunate, I did like the cheap junmai daijingo concept. Come over here, grab some drinks, chat up some friends, and then chase it down with "bar food". With "bar food" you never expect much, except, this is a restaurant, so things are slightly backwards. I am open to revisiting this place and revising my opinion, but with so many better choices, I do think it'll be a long stretch of time before I reconsider it.

The space is so cute and I love the tents they have set up. We were lucky to get a table inside the tent so it wasn't as loud. They do blast music and luckily the tent covered some of the music so it wasn't hard to have a conversation. My only issue with them is that for some reason, there were so many little flies in the restaurant that kept hovering over our food. We couldn't eat in peace and had to keep swatting. Hubby joked that they set the flies out on purpose to add to the camping theme.

I wish I was able to leave a 0 star review. DO NOT EAT HERE, unless you want bad customer service, rude employees treating you like they are better than everyone else, and in general food that is not what you ordered and or is missing items. This place made me create a yelp accont just to share with you all how bad this place is. Giving a special shout out to the server, EMILY. She is the reason why I created this review. About 20 of my friends and I went here on 9/16/23 after dinner. We EACH had orderd multiple stuff per person. My friend had ordered the mango-berry shaved ice (they messed this order up but fixed it right away because they realized they were the ones to mess up), and 3 drinks. They messed up one drink, and so my friend had her 9 year old daughter go and ask if they can fix it, Emily had rudely declined and gave a dumb excuse. My friend then went up to ask for a remake/switch of the drink, and was told rudely that they were not able to because the drink had taken a sip out of it. How are we supposed to know if a drink is wrong if we don't take a sip out of it? My friend asked if they were able to give a refund then, and had gotten told no because the drink was already dranken. The drink was 98.9 percent still full. Emily had rudely and angerly told my friend no, which made her angry and take the drink and chug it to the ground. Emily then had walked over to the rest of our friends (the 19 other people who each ordered multiple stuff) and yelled at all of us to get out. We all asked why we were getting kicked out, and Emily had then continued to try to scream and kick us out, but none of us budged to leave because we were not in the wrong. Then as we had left later on, Emily had given us dirty stares. WORSE place in Hacienda Heights. Do not come here! EMILY ruined my time with my friends. Will NOT be coming back here. I don't know why Emily is still working here, when other reviews have complained about her. read more

My family and I have been loyal patrons of Meet Fresh for many years, ever since this location first opened its doors. However, it's disheartening to witness the decline in service and cleanliness over time. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the sink area consistently appears messy, with overflowing trash and debris scattered around the counter and adjacent floors. Both napkin holders by the sink are consistently empty. This isn't an occasional issue; we've observed these conditions during all of our recent visits. Furthermore, the tables often feel sticky, and the restrooms are disgusting. It's worth noting that this wasn't always the case. There was a time when this place was far better maintained. Adding insult to injury, our recent experience is likely the last straw. On a busy weekend night, with at least a dozen customers still in the restaurant (some had just gotten their order merely minutes ago), they abruptly turned off the lights at exactly 10pm. While everyone was puzzled by this sudden action, an employee strode past and shouted, "IT'S10!! WE ARE CLOSED!!" in an unfriendly tone. While we understand that staff members wish to conclude their shifts on time, there could have been a more courteous approach. A simple, "Is there anything we can assist you with? Our closing time is 10 pm," would have conveyed the message respectfully. Instead, the chosen method felt passive-aggressive and disrespectful towards customers. Considering the decline in overall service quality and cleanliness, coupled with this recent experience, we are uncertain if we will be back, which is a shame because we really did like the place. read more

Last weekend, I went to Meet Fresh in Rowland Heights, and it was a really good experience. I ordered their signature taro shaved ice. The texture of the ice was very smooth and soft, light and airy, and every bite was refreshing. The taro flavor was rich and natural, not overly sweet. The condensed milk on top was creamy and flavorful without being too sweet, and it paired perfectly with the ice. Each spoonful had a nice balance of taro and milk flavor, which was very satisfying. The shop was clean and well-kept, with plenty of seating, so it was easy to relax while eating. When the ice arrived, the colors looked very appealing, and I couldn't help taking a photo before digging in. The taro chunks were fresh and firm, and the ice melted smoothly in the mouth. Towards the end, the condensed milk gradually soaked into the ice, giving each bite a consistent, balanced sweetness. Replying back to "Angela Y", your response is dumb. If you really cared about your customers you wouldn't shout at them and scare the others. No one else cares until you started screaming and scaring my kids. It wasn't that hard to just remake a drink if apparently the customer is always right rule. I am not even the customer but this infuriates me because your responses are bull. You said your staff did the best they could except you could see in your "CCTV" or whatever you use to watch, that they were mocking the customer and laughing. And you can see from other reviews that they complained about the customer service. Maybe train them to be nicer to people instead of laughing and thinking it looks professional to act the way they did. I am so sorry for the customer who had to deal with this. My overall experience at this establishment was below average. My party and I ordered four items: milk tea, jasmine green tea, a waffle, and shaved snow (mango and strawberry). Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to receive all of our items. The place was not crowded, and it was clear that the staff was not busy, yet there was a significant delay in preparing our order. When I approached the counter to inquire about the status of our order, they made it right away. However, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the 40-minute wait. The staff behind the counter seemed indifferent, more focused on horsing around in the back than on providing good service. This place is awesome! I ordered herbal tea with grass jelly and my friend got the signature grass jelly. The grass jelly tastes just like the ones made in Taiwan. Probably the most authentic Taiwanese dessert you can find in LA. The herbal tea has just the right amount of sweetness which is very rare for tea shops like this. Other dessert places are either too sweet or just plain chemical. Signature grass jelly is the must-order because it has everything I want. Tarp balls with grass jelly and shaved ice is the perfect combination, even for a cold winter day like this. Also the taro balls are hand made which makes it even better. Had fun at foodie tasting at meet fresh, Its quite different and was my time trying Q mochi, red bean hot soup with rice ball and almond soup. I rec if they have ice blended version for the red bean or taro instead of hot soup. Overall, meet fresh is known for iced Signature desserts and if it wasn't for this event I wouldn't randomly order the hot soup or combo selection. Food: Great dessert. A go-to place after a nice dinner Ambiance: decent - tables could be bussed a little more as an added feature by staff. We usually have to clean it ourselves. Service: average, sometimes you'll get a cashier that will give you a smile, but they're usually just business at the register. The place doesn't really lose its appeal for me based on the last two, but the ambiance and service could improve and management could prob work on the last two. Shout out to the staff member named Jason who was super helpful, nice, and patient. He was really accommodating and attentive to our table. Our soups and water never went empty. He was always constantly checking on us. This is what customer service should be. Also, there is a new app. So all of your old points on the old app is unfortunately gone :(

It was so big that the three of us had to finish the whole bowl as a family. The toppings and soft ice were good, but the syrup made it too sweet. The workers only speak Taiwanese, unless you can order in Mandarin and point out what you want to eat. There are a few seats available for a small shop. They should have a bigger trash bin since it was already overfilled. Overall, it's a great place to try out their Taiwanese shaved ice inside the plaza.

They have a crazy amount of flavors and different drink styles. The location is kind of run down and old looking, but still looks pretty clean and you can see right into the area where they make the drinks and it looks organized and clean too. Just for the pricing alone, the quality/taste and consistency, this is a great place to stop. They're also super fast with making the drinks, you'll wait under 3 minutes for a single drink as long as there isn't a lot of people.
