Went to this place for a lunch break with one of our customers. This has to be the most unorganized "bar/restaurant" in the east valley. We got seated at 12pm and didn't get our order placed until 12:20 and didn't get our food until 1:25 on the dot! They only had one waitress that was taking orders and also bartending at the same time!!! Felt so embarrassed to even take our clients there to eat food. There was 6 of us at a table and all of us agreed to never ever come there again. It's run down, the bathrooms are filthy and dirty, the door is hanging on one hinge, the sink is about to fall off. And the food was mediocre at best. Run down outed "bar" if you want to call it that. Take your business to McDonald's down the street if you want a cheeseburger. What a joke. read more

If you can get over dust balls, spider webs, and curtains from the 80s then you've found yourself a great bar. Cheap drinks, decent food and great service! The inside is a little dingy with ancient furniture and décor. The pool tables give you something to do, but half the time the balls get stuck and the server has to come over and open the door to get the balls. The dart board is horribly placed at the entrance so be very careful no one is walking through before you throw! The place does have a touch tunes system so download the app and pick songs from your phone. read more

This is one of the best casual bars I've been to in Chandler thus far, and I've been to my fair share. Pub 'n Grub provides a great, laid back atmosphere to relax and have a drink in. Its a bit divey but the drinks are very affordable, especially at happy hour. Seems like a great place to grab a pitcher and watch a game. They also have pool and some other entertainment options if you're not into the games that are on. Pub 'n Grub also has a very affordable bar food menu, with plenty of burgers, sandwiches and finger food at reasonable prices. I didn't have the chance to try any while I was there but I definitely intend on coming back to try the food. Overall, Pub 'n Grub seems like a great little neighborhood hang out, the kind of bar where its easy to become a regular for many reasons. It seemed like many of the people there were frequent customers, which I find a great testament to the atmosphere of the bar. We will be returning. read more

A sweet little dive bar. I was unsure at first... where's the entrance? Why is it so dirty in here? Glorious. Walking distance from a friend's house. Seriously cheappp... This is my favorite bar. Theirry (sp?) is amazing. If you are in on Friday or Saturday night - you will see this guy. The waitstaff is always awesome. I recognize most of the waitresses. This place must have low turnover for waitstaff which is a good sign. This is basically a biker bar and a dive. The beer is cold and the crowd is generally fun. I enjoy this type of bar - and it's easily my favorite place to go. Beer comes in a frosty mug and it is cheap. I LOVE the Killian's on draft. The food is great. I love me some bar food. The green hornet is where it's at. Ham and green chili with Swiss cheese served like a grilled cheese. Happy Hour drafts = $2. My tab was $8 on Saturday night. WOW! I love this place and can't believe it isn't on Yelp already. There are some pool tables and darts and jukebox. Laid back as all hell. Please enjoy this bar. read more

This is a dive bar but worth the trip(don't even have a sign) I was flying solo on this trip so a change from my normal ventures. Regardless this place was great, the bar was full so I grabbed a table. Very nice server came by within 2-3 min. Drinks were quick, food was super affordable and good! This establishment caters to everyone not just bikers. It's like a modern day version of "Cheers". Next time I'm in Gilbert I will be back and have already told friends about it. OK, disclaimer up front: this is a neighborhood dive bar. One should not expect first class accommodations here. But if you want cheap drinks, cheap eats, and a friendly and laid back atmosphere, this may be a good option for you. The food is prepared "short order" style at a grill in plain view behind the bar, and the kitchen is open until midnight, which is great for night owls or a late night snack. There are numerous TV's that will usually have sports broadcasts, but only what is on local cable - no premium sports packages here. So it's not a "sports bar". There are motorcycle riders that stop here on occasion, so it is "biker friendly" but it is certainly not a "biker bar". It's really a blue collar, working class, neighborhood bar and grill. There is a digital juke box if you want to play music, and 2 pool tables and 1 dart machine, if that's your pleasure. The crowd can vary from day to day, but it's usually a decent crowd mixed with a cross section of society. All in all, it's one of my favorite local "watering holes". read more

This bar has the worst service I've seen. I walked in to order a Bloody Mary, the bar tender had a fit when I asked her what kind of mix they use. It was clearly going to be to much work for her, as she threw her hands up and said "uh tomato juice". I settled with beer as the bloody Mary was too much work for her to make. There was an older gentleman in an older woman working, I asked the older gentleman if this was a family owned bar Because it seem like they were a married couple that just got in a fight and I was interrupting. He responded "well I guess my boss has a family so yeah". They were not married just very rude. I don't recommend this place because the service suck! read more

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! ------------ Now that most people have gone to another place and just the curious are left, I'll tell you the truth... this place is great! A real hole-in-the-wall bar in a safe location with big TV's, pool tables, a nice selection of good beer (including Guiness on tap!), and really good food. A great atmosphere - that small bar feeling where everyone's having a good time. Now, get this: Huge tasty bacon and cheese burger (meaning do not get the double patty version unless you have a dog), for $6.00, large tasty fries for $2, overloaded BLT for $5. Very low prices on beer and $3.50 mixed drinks! We (and when we got home, our dogs) had the double bacon/cheese burger, large seasoned fries, BLT, two mixed drinks and two nice beers... with tax: $23!! Servers are fast and friendly. Met the owner who couldn't be nicer. He knows he's charging half of what he could but he doesn't care. We'll go back again and again and again. Promise you won't tell anyone! read more

Okay. You gotta grade the P n G on a curve. If you want a fancy trendy place 9 dollar cocktails this isn't the place to for you. If you grade it against a place like San Tan or 4 peaks or the yard then of course it's going to get a low rating. If you want a chilled out regular bar where regular people go then it gets a good rating. The beer is really cold which is a big plus for me. Not sure why every bar doesn't strive for that standard. The menu's literally haven't changed since the 80's. Same prices and everything. It has regular bar food and serves it pretty late...I think til 1 am. The owner bartends a lot and he is a great guy. Ask for a breakfast shot. Yes it has those weird roll up curtains that were your grandparents house and yes the bathroom is small and yes it isn't the fanciest of places, but it has it's charm. If you live in this area and you like reasonably priced drinks and don't feel like going to a place where you need to get fancied up first this should be your hang out. read more

Great cheap eats and drinks. The food is surprisingly good and the price can't be beat ($2.00 for a giant basket of fries). The pool tables are $.50! The crowd is really varied and adds to the color of the place. The only downside is the bathroom :( It could stand a refreshening. read more

Alex is a bitter old ex girlfried. of a patron of the Pub.. Alex wrote the review out of spite and revenge. She cannot cry wolf on this one! I witnessed her bringing in her son in the bar area at 10 pm and attempted to drop him off at the Pub N' Grub to piss off the Father. It wasn't his night for visitation. She continued to call the bar and threatened to hit vehicles parked in the parking lot. She was 86'd from the Pub. The bar has not changed since I first visited it in the late 1980's. The current bar owner and his wife are great people and the place is a comfortable place to meet friends. Children are allowed to be in the bar pursuant to regulations, and there is a restaurant area for families to sit. The food is really good, and the prices are really reasonable. You get more in portion than what you would get at other places. I occasionally bring my teenage daughter into the Pub. We enjoy the people. They are always friendly. No dirty old men hitting on people as Alex writes. Alex should be careful about what she writes - it can be considered slander and libel. read more
