Sub from the deli
Gretchen S.

I like this Publix. Parking is much better than a lot of other locations even though, yes, you are competing with the Target crowd. The service/ wait at the deli is better here than at the Shallowford location in terms of being able to keep space from people and not having a cramped waiting area. Lines are long at most Publix stores at peak lunch/ dinner times - it's just to be expected. The chicken, sandwiches, and sushi brought in are always fresh and tasty at this location. The workers are so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite locations besides the Lilburn/Rockbridge one.

You must wear a facial mask and social distancing is a must. I had to pick up some things for my family, and this is the closest Publix near me. It was lunch time, so the deli was kind of crowded. You must wait for your turn and also they have stickers on the floor to let you know where to wait at and how far apart you must stand to stay safe. The store is super clean, friendly employees and fresh food. I purchased salad for the week for me and my Husband and son ordered an Italian sub. They now have the salad bar open, where customers can prepare their own salad or soups of choice. Due to the Coronavirus, I wouldn't feel safe, but the store does. I'm glad I did see an employee once, as I was at the deli, that went to check on the salad bar if anyone needed assistance. I will definitely be back soon for groceries though. I'm sure Publix will continue to take care of their customers.

It sucks traveling and feeling like this!!

Nice grocery location... I have been doing a lot of traveling lately... and this time when I landed I started to not feel so well. As the day went on it progressively goof worse! So as I headed to the hotel I saw a sign for this location and tthought I would pull in to get some meds. The parking lot was actually quite dimly lit... for me it was fine but I would not be happy about my wife coming here on her own at night with how dark it was. Anything more then a few spaces out was in almost complete blackness. The store itself was nice. Clean well laid out a big selection of cold meds, and (as I walked by i noticed...) a very good selection of wine and beer. The checkout lady was fast and kind... maybe she wanted MMs home because I was obviously "infected"! I don't know but it took about 2 seconds to be checked out and I was on my way. Nice place! Seriously I thought the store was great... just get some lights in the lot so we feel safe!

Birthday cake

They did a great job with our birthday cake! We bought some cake toppers off Amazon and they did an amazing job of assembling an awesome scene on top the cake!

Wow! I don't think I have been this impressed with a Pharmacy in like ... EVER!…read more And the reason is the Peachtree Pharmacy staff. They were friendly, accommodating and helpful... and the they came across as sincere as opposed to all of the "chain" pharmacies that dot the landscape of metro Atlanta. Plus they were fast in getting a somewhat complicated prescription completed for me. I had to get a prescription compounded and I knew that would be a Heruclean effort from my usual chain pharmacy. I heard about Peachtree Pharmacy in the past -- maybe when they opened -- and thought I would give them a try. I was warmly greeted by the staff on a recent afternoon who efficiently took my personal and insurance information and went to work. Peachtree Pharmacy is located in the center on Peachtree Parkway where you will find the Flying Biscuit and Earth Fare store. Peachtree Pharmacy is sort squeezed in between some other businesses between the two stores mentioned above. They get my highest possible recommendation!

And tbh, I'm sure pharmacists are just as frustrated with the communication nightmare they wrestle with between drs, insurance companies and patients who just want their drugs. But PTP has the friendliest and most competent staff I've personally experienced. They go out of their way to work with me and help me get what I need and usually recognize my voice over the phone. I'm conflicted over telling everyone about my favorite little pharmacy and keeping it to myself because I rarely have to wait in line and sometimes even get to use the 15 minute parking which is like winning the lottery.

I have been to several other CVS stores in Metro Atlanta and they all are fairly speedy unless there is a visible swarm of people. Today I went to the drive-thru to pick up some prescriptions that were already filled and just needed to be picked up. I don't know what was going on but it took forever. I don't think I will be going through the drive thru again because it's more of a hassle than anything. I will continue to go to this CVS because of its proximity to work but I hope they can get the prescription flow on track.

While standing in a long pharmacy line, I watched staff loudly lecture an elderly man about insurance and copays in front of everyone. It was not a private, respectful conversation. It was loud, sharp, and embarrassing for him. Another employee stepped in and somehow made it worse by speaking in an exaggerated, demeaning tone that sounded like she was talking to a child. There was zero effort to be kind or professional. I also heard a staff member snap at a customer who asked about Spanish language help and say, "We only speak English here." In a healthcare setting, that is beyond unacceptable. When it was my turn, I asked the pharmacist (Lee Trac) to apply coupons I had just added in the app. She immediately acted irritated, said she would have to void everything, and then made a big show of slamming items around when I said that was fine. After rerunning the transaction, she loudly pointed out that my discounts were only a few cents, as if that made my request stupid. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me for simply wanting valid coupons applied. Customers should not be treated like a nuisance for trying to save money. To top it off, when I went to the front of the store to ask who the manager was, staff could not even clearly tell me who runs the store. Multiple first names, no last names, and no clear leadership. That is a serious red flag. I have been to this location for years and have never seen it this bad. The level of discrimination immature attitude, and lack of professionalism I saw that day was shocking. No one should be treated this way when they are picking up prescriptions or asking basic questions. I left angry, uncomfortable, and honestly concerned about the culture in that pharmacy.
