Decided to write a review after a mildly irritating visit to the drive-thru CVS pharmacy on Peachtree Parkway. The bag of medicine I was picking up was too big to fit through the service window. They refused to take it out of the paper bag and just hand me two smaller packages through the window. Told me I had to come inside and wait in line... again. After I already waited in line to get to the window. I'm sure there's some asinine bureaucratic rule about un-stapling a package of medicine, but at some point common sense has to prevail. And even if there is a rule, maybe just avoid shoving so much stuff into a single bag that it won't fit through the service window? I'm pretty sure the people working in there are highly educated and able to figure out this puzzle. So, I'm giving the crew a big fat D- in customer service and puzzle solving. read more

This is the nearest CVS to our home and we have been filling prescriptions and getting vaccinations in this location. They are always slow. Picking up a prescription takes a 15 minute wait when it is a refill and up to a day if it's a called in prescription. I had a 9 am appt for an immunization, arrived 5 min early, and checked in. (There was no other customers in the pharmacy.) It is now 9:30 and I am still waiting. Pharmacist called me at 9:31. She was pleasant, seemed skilled. The problem is customer service. This place has two stars and they aren't that good. Stood st the pharmacy counter ten minutes before I was acknowledged I had a vaccine appointment. No one else was waiting. After forty minutes, I bailed. Terrible service, and the store was a mess! Boxes everywhere, aisles blocked, miserable experience. read more

They need COMPETENT and LITERATE people, working the prescription counter/window. I CONSTANTLY have to REPEAT my name, the prescription that I am there to pick up, etc. Just today I sat in line for THIRTY MINUTES, only to be told that the drug that was SUPPOSED to be ready,was NOT AVAILABLE...WTF? I've rarely had a good experience at any CVS in more than 10 years. This particular location too often gets my prescriptions wrong, even refilling ones I haven't taken in months or more because I was allergic to it! Even my doctor personally called to have those removed from the system, yet a couple of months later they filled them again and I didn't realize it until I got home. When I went back they said they couldn't reimburse me because I left the store with them!!! Now, I'm in a situation where my medication has less than a week left. They say it's too soon to refill and show 2 past refill dates in their system a month apart for 90 day supplies!! I'm taking the bottle to them today to show them the date of refill and praying they correct it in their system so my insurance pays! Otherwise I'll have zero medication for over a month. This location is HIGHLY MESSED UP!! If I would have accidentally taken the pills they kept refilling, I could have landed in the hospital!! If you use this location, it's on you to manage what they give you. Whatever happened to the rule they put in place many years ago that pharmacies make sure your medications don't interact with each other, and preventing over medicating etc???? We are no longer able to trust they do their job, and this is a very serious problem! My insurance makes me use CVS. It's actually dangerous to my health! read more

Too bad we can't put zero stars. Horrible customer service and pharmacists/pharmacy techs. It's too bad as it's the closest pharmacy to our house. We will be going elsewhere. If you're in the market for a pharmacy I would suggest you do the same. If you can put up with rude employees, constant waiting, prescriptions not ready, and feeling like you're not valued then stay the course. Be sure you get your scripts there in enough time because there is no such thing as a quick script. Expect 2-3 hours even for pain medicine. I know everyone is short staffed, so just be prepared bc you will wait. read more

I went to Store ID: #2108. 5095 PEACHTREE PKWY, NORCROSS, GA 30092 at 7:10 AM this morning to get cough suppressant. The website post said the store was to open at 7 AM. Employees were standing outside the store waiting on the manager to get there. I am coughing, had to go somewhere else. read more

I recently went to CVS to buy a couple of items. The young lady in the store assisted me with the order. I was trying to use my December Beauty coupon. We had no luck finding any of the items and I guess there was not an option to substitute something similar since it was not offered. While she was checking me out, we had gotten to right before I pay and the register went down. She suggested I use the self check out, which I hate, but advised I would try. Asked if my coupons we had used would still be available and she stated they would be since other transaction was not completed. Well that didn't seem to be the case. I finally scanned all my items and then the self checkout, did not seem to read my coupons. I was so fed up I just left. I had been in the store 40 minutes and nothing was accomplished. This January 5th. The next day I had to drop off a prescription. I decided to wait and browse the store. So, after about 30 to 40 minutes I went back to the pharmacy. My prescription was ready and I had items to check out and pay my for my prescription. So, I had them scan my card and only one coupon showed up. I showed them my phone which showed I had at least 5 coupons that had been sent to the card. So, they told me I had to go to the front of the store for assistance with paying for the other items and for help with coupons not taking. I go to the front of the store and a young man assisted me ringing up my purchases. Again, there was an issue with the coupons. So, the young lady that helped me the day before came over. She then proceeded to tell me they had been used. I reminded her of our interaction of the day before and I had not used them, due to the technical issues. I showed her they still were listed in my app as being available. Instead of being proactive and reaching out to customer care, I was told I would have to call. I purchased a few of the items and left. The customer service at this location is not what it used to be. I will not be buying anything else outside of prescriptions at CVS. read more

Worst pharmacy EXPERIENCES you will ever have. Yardanka shouldn't be in a customer service position given her lack of ability to communicate using the English language. We had passport photos taken here. Received a letter from the federal government telling us that the photos were taken incorrectly. How can a business that charges for passport photos not know how to do their job correctly? Took the remaining photo and the letter from the federal government back to CVS. Dealt with the RUDEST woman on the planet. She claimed that she was a manager. She retook the photos and made the exact same mistakes that were addressed in the letter from the government. Basically, she was RUDE and DUMB. Would never shop at this store again, regardless of how desperate I might be. read more

I'm not really understanding the bad reviews because I've always had great experiences with this CVS. The pharmacy is always super busy but I've always gotten friendly and attentive service from all of the staff. This pharmacy definitely does not feel like a neighborhood pharmacy. It is busy and unfriendly. Everyone who works there act as if they don't want to be there and that I'm wasting their time. I agree with Mei Ling. I think more than 90% of my experience there sucked. When I dropped off a prescription for my son, the guy sighed loudly and looked annoyed when he found out that my son was a new patient there. I assumed he looked annoyed because he had to enter new patient information into their system and that took up some of his time. I've had one pharmacy tech who wouldn't look at me in the eye when that person was talking to me. Whatever happened to basic human communication skills? Another time, I asked about flu shots given at the pharmacy which they'd advertise all over the store and outside of the store. The person at the pharmacy didn't know much about flu shots administered at their pharmacy and referred me to Minute Clinic which was a separate entity in the store run by nurse practitioners (which by the way, were always nice and friendly). I guess business was not important to them despite their heavy advertisements. And the drive-through window... I've almost always have to wait 5-10 minutes for each car that's in front of me every time I've had to use it. Day or night. It's a nice concept especially when you have small children in the car and you don't want to bring them into the store, but the wait can be excruciating especially when there are many cars ahead of you. I guess the employees there don't really care about business. Maybe they're overworked? After all, they always tell me that they're very busy. It's definitely not one that I look forward going to. There definitely are better pharmacies out there. read more

My doctor sent my RX to this pharmacy 2x (Friday evening electronically and again Saturday electronically) after I was told they didn't have a RX Saturday morning. Sent my husband to pick up today after receiving confirmation the RX was ready just to be told again, "they didn't have a RX sent in for me." The 2 people my husband dealt with were rude and clearly didn't care about the customers experience. The initial lady who was helping him amidst "searching" for the information and being given my name 5x in their system, helped 2-3 other customers- one at the drive thru and another 2 even leaving the pharmacy counter to help a gentleman find something in the aisle. Another man came to help as my husband got frustrated with what he was experiencing. FINALLY they found me and the RX we were told they never received! WOW! This pharmacy is 1 mile from our home but we will be happy to drive 3 miles to the nearest Walgreens- YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE - It's clear you don't care about the experience your customers receive. I just visited this CVS & the associates working here were terrible: rude, not helpful & didn't seem to want to work. I had 33 items in my buggy & the two associates sent me to the self check out instead of ringing up my order themselves. There was no one else in the store so it's not like they were busy. I started scanning my items & about every 4-5 items, the register would beep & say call for help...the associates would come over & scan a card to get the register working again. Needless to say, it took forever & then when I was done the associates questioned whether or not I had scanned every item in my bags! Then they proceeded to cancel the transaction (after it took forever to ring up) and finally did their job by ringing up my order. They wasted about 15-20 minutes of my time by not doing their job to start with! I can see asking customers with just a few items to self check out, but when a customer has 20 plus items there is bound to be some user error so the store associates should ring it up to start with! I did not go to CVS self checkout training-the people that work at CVS went to the training-STEP UP PEOPLE! read more

Four out of five times I have tried to pick up a prescription at this so-called pharmacy, they have screwed it up. Either they don't have the prescriptions available, and don't bother to notify you, or they say they have never seen it from the doctor, even though the doctor has a fax confirmation that they have received it. I'm moving all my prescriptions to Publix. read more

These guys specialize in the long tail of checkout times. Whether it's processing film, handling a return, or fetching a single item from one of the locked cabinets to delay you, there's a solid chance that in time you walk in will require greater 10 minutes to checkout. Day time service is nice enough, night-time not so much. In no case can you expect reinforcements at the checkout lane. 24 hour access is great, but I'd recommend sticking with the Walgreens to the south. read more

Rudest pharmacy staff ever. They clearly hate their jobs. Have messed up my RX multiple times and are rude to boot.

Run run run avoid ---tall skinny young boy/man-late night shift worker very dark skin with horrible attitude and aggressive demeanor . went into the store with my husband to buy hair dye to cover up my gray. I was unsure of what color I wanted to buy so my husband and I were comparing my hair color to the color selection on the back of the box . My husband and I had chosen three boxes of his favorite and I had chosen three boxes of my favorite there was a half empty shelf that had a lots of light I gently push the items on the shelf back so I could place the box on the well lit shelf and take a strand of my hair to compare it to the selection on the box. The associate at that point started making very rude comments no no you can't do that why are you making a mess you need to leave. At that point I kindly explained to him I'm sorry sir I will ever replace that what I found him I just wanted to make sure that I am purchasing the item that suits me best. The associates continued to walk towards me and in aggressive therm manner during this point I was handing my husband the buses of die and I was shaking and frightened to the point that one of the boxes fell on the ground. The gentleman was like get out get out now before I call the cops. I shop at the store several times a month and spend at least $40-$200 per visit. Regardless I will never be shopping there again. read more

This is my favorite pharmacy. Everyone back in the pharmacy is very friendly and strive to get you your medication as quickly as they can. Obviously, sometimes it takes a while. This is due to being understaffed and having to deal with doctors that don't call back. Also, the front store staff is very friendly as well. If you visit this store to buy stationery, seasonal items, get photos done, or buy any "general merchandise" items, and are dealing with the "front-of-the-store" staff, then it's a pretty good store and I'd say go for it. If, however, you want a prescription filled---RUN the other way! I cannot figure out why a store with so MANY people working in the pharmacy cannot manage to get prescriptions out in an efficient and professional manner, but they cannot. I tried using them for several years, and now ONLY use them when I must, as I had to do recently over Christmas when all other pharmacies are closed. Having your physician "call in" a prescription to them is a joke--they will 'claim' he didn't call it in, then if you insist he did so HOURS ago, they "check the recording" and suddenly "find" it---so it's been sitting there for HOURS and not picked up off the recorder while your child is sick, waiting for his medicine. They always claim the "doctor didn't call it in yet", or "we can't find it", and then when you insist they look again, they give the excuse that "Oh, we only check the recording once an hour." Uh-huh. Then, once they DO finally pick up the prescription, the wait times are ridiculous. On this holiday, they told me it would be TWO HOURS before they could fill it. I thought, ok, it's the holiday, and told them my husband would come by after work to get it. Then they call me at almost the time (two hours later) and tell me it will be ANOTHER hour--or two--they're not sure. And this with FIVE people working the pharmacy that night! There also seems to be a problem with quality control--I have actually been given the WRONG prescription twice over the years by these folks. I'm not sure if that is the result of a language barrier, because it is hard to communicate with some of the workers there, but giving out an inaccurate prescription should NEVER happen. If, even given all this, they were polite and eager to serve their customers, I might find it possible to overlook their failings; but as others have noted, they are NOT polite. They are barely civil, and customers are indeed treated as if we are a bother rather than the stores' life-blood. I do not 'willingly' go here---only if no other drug stores are open. read more

I frequent most CVS cause they are so close to my house, but this has got to be the worst one I have ever been. I have been to many all around the US. If they guarantee you your prescription by a certain time, double the time they tell you it will be ready! Even after going to their Minute Clinic which has a not so accurate request times online as in person and testing positive for the flu, the nurse told me to get my script here, and that they're usually fast.... Tamiflu isn't an opioid and well how does it end up taking 20 minutes to fill after they told me it would be 5-10 mins? Earlier that day, I had to pick up my kids prescriptions for tamiflu, guaranteed to be ready in an hour? Nope 3 hours later I get a text. If I have to pick up a script from here cause it's open till 12 will be the only reason I will ever use this pharmacy again! I should have known better from my times before with this pharmacy. In general, no matter the entity of the business, I CANNOT STAND IT WHEN PEOPLE ARE JUST IGNORANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I was already switching from a different pharmacy, in route of becoming a customer of CVS Pharmacy. It's really jacked up for you not to want to be a customer, BEFORE ACTUALLY BECOMING ONE. Inspite of the negative reviews, which I believed, I only went just to test the waters for myself. I put in a transfer for my RX to CVS, from a different company. The black female, with blonde weave, basically told me that she was going to give me a call, and that she will handle everything. Days went by, and by her not calling me, I already knew that this company was no better. I called, and spoke with a gentleman to do a follow-up. He explained to me how they needed to call my doctors. I'm like, you all couldn't have done that within the week. Now this is twice, since I've done a follow up from the first week. Again, this Pharmacist lied, implying he was going to handle it and give me call. By now it's going on two weeks, nothing has been done for me to receive my medicine. Not one Pharmacy employee has cared to call me, to resolve any of my issues. REALLY? It goes to show you how they don't care about their customers/patients. For this to be a major company, they lack business ethics, profusely. I'm very happy with my new pharmacy. Their business is of quality service. If I needed a pill cut in half, they do it willingly, without excuses. Walgreens will not do it for you, yet alone CVS. The new Pharmacy had my RX ready the next day, and everything was taken care of, WITHOUT ANY EXCUSES. Places like Walgreens and CVS should be ashamed of themselves for lacking quality service. They will lie to you saying how they will call your doctors, and they don't. They will lie by saying well we faxed it over and we did this, and that. They never did! When a patient is battling a chronic disease, they're already not feeling well, struggling with the symptoms of their disease. They should not be stressed out from hassles in making SO-CALLED,ADULT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, do their job well. It only exacerbates our symptoms. It's only common sense that the managers of the Pharmacy aren't doing their jobs. Because whomever comes in with a new RX, that's a new customer, the manager should go into the computer to go behind them. They should say we have a new patient today, why hasn't their RX been filled yet. Where there's no leadership, Ignorance will follow. read more
