Poland Constantinides , the owner pharmacist of Lakeside Pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacist and business owner I have every come across. My doctor called in my prescription on Thursday, they told me they will deliver it - no ETA, no message. I texted them saying can I pick up, they just sent me an FAQ document, then this idiot calls me on a closed day - asks me do you happen to have the container in your hand - I said no- what do you need- he says can you go it there is something important I need from the label - I go upstairs to look at it and he sarcastically says look at the yellow label - its says 2 -week refill - well looks like they dont tell this to the doctor who is calling in that the patient wont receive a prescription for 2 weeks after the doctor calls it in - so you take the business and you treat the customer like shit! Which pharmacist does this kind of stuff!! My simple text question was when can I get my prescription and/ or can I come pick it up and this is how I get treated I will be letting my clinic know about this experience and needless to say I will be moving to a new pharmacy read more

This is the best pharmacy I've ever been to! I've been getting my husband's scripts for quite some time now, as well as other family members. I needed a script for myself and decided to go ahead and get it from Lakeside. I just got a thank you card from the pharmacist Apollon, thanking me for my business! Wow! Never in my life. Everyone there has always been amazingly friendly and professional. They even deliver scripts - and we live on the other side of town. I pass by many pharmacies gladly to use Lakeside. Please read my original review. I'd like to add an update. I just moved back to the Cumming area and contracted COVID-19. I had my physician phone in steroids, inhalers And antibiotics to Lakeside Pharmacy. When I phoned to schedule delivery they made it clear to me my business was no longer welcome. They were rude and abrasive . They refused to transfer my prescriptions as well forcing me to go another 24 hours with Covid-19 (which I had informed them I had) without treatment and suffering. I'm strongly suggest finding a different pharmacy. Lakeside has made it clear , if you are unhappy with their services they will not seek to resolve it but instead will put your health at risk to punish you for complaining. read more

Sad to say after over 10 years of doing business with this company, I'm forced to part ways. Was attracted to the one on one family service along with free delivery , so much so , that when I moved I continued using them as opposed to transferring my business. They've since gotten too busy to need my business, good for them but it's lost any appeal to hang on to me..prices are now higher than competitors but to make matters worse, when I told the owner of the company I felt he didn't value me as a customer anymore, he became belligerent and insulting , bringing me almost to tears. I wouldn't go out of my way to use this pharmacy After the owners response I'll like to clarify there were no laws that would have been broken in handling my business, nor concerns. I will be writing him directly but would like to reiterate. The company does offer free delivery, with stipulations, yet they are higher than other pharmacies in the area and no longer offer the level of customer care they once may have been afforded upon opening. Lakeside used to be an A+ pharmacy. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Today was my last refill, I am forced to move along. Each refill over the last year or more has presented some form of hassle. They used to stock and fill meds same day, no longer. There is consistently a billing error and they have made manufacturer discount cards a hassle. Last time they had me wait 45 minutes, they told me my meds would not be complete before their lunch shutdown and asked if I would mind coming back later in the afternoon. I usually go to CVS, Kroger, & Walgreens for my pharmaceutical needs, but it always feels so impersonal there. No one recognizes you and or even tries to remember your name. After discovering Lakeside Pharmacy, they have a loyal customer. I love how professional Dr. Apollon is. He is there to answer all of your questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions about your prescriptions! The service is also fast and efficient. It doesn't take long for my prescription to be filled at all. I also love the location. It is so close to Northside Hospital and near 400. I had a great experience at Lakeside Pharmacy. Hoepfully, you will as well! read more

This place is amazing. The employees are extremely friendly (I've been here twice so far and everyone was so nice both times) and they are quick to fill your prescription(s) as well as answer your questions and assist you with any other OTC item they sell. They also do compounding if you have a unique prescription need. I found the pager feature they use to be a fantastic little perk to have while you wait so you can go outside. The only seats are in the back at a desk that is used to speak to a pharmacist regarding equipment and other medical questions/advice/etc. They say that you get your prescription in 5 minutes but keep in mind that is 5 minutes PER medication and that's assuming that the prescription was called in/written out correctly. If there is any issue with the prescription the pharmacist will take the time to call whomever wrote it in an attempt to get the issue corrected immediately. They'll keep you updated on the process via use of the pager. Additionally you can call your refills in ahead of time as with most pharmacies but an extra perk they offer is delivery! I haven't tried it yet but no doubt I will in the future. read more

Lakeside offers a unique client/pharmacist/staff relationship that the big chains never have. Everyone knows my name and greets me as such when I walk in the door (if I can't walk in myself, they know my parents by name as well). ALWAYS friendly service, never have I waited more than 15 minutes - even during high traffic times, and they are super duper friendly when answering questions or helping find other non prescription related items in the store. Conveniently located at Northside Forsyth complex, ample parking. Delivery to your home (in Forsyth Co.) and curbside pickup available. The courtesy, friendliness and over all customer relationships are a throwback to the era of when these things meant more than the almighty dollar and quotas. I recommend Lakeside to every one I have a medical related conversation with (family as well as strangers in the doctor's waiting room!) I would absolutely give them a 15/10 stars if possible. Awesome place, friendly staff and great service! It's the place where you're known by name. You're not just a customer or a patient. You're a friend, more like a family member !! It's like a big family where the person behind the counter connects you and gets to know you and understand about what you're going through. Always eager to help and ready to go the extra mile to make sure you're being helped in the most convenient way possible!! Let me put it this way, most of the time you walk into a pharmacy and you meet a seller who's just selling whatever is written in a list, but finally you walk into a different pharmacy where they understand what it means to be disabled, that you have limited ability to take care of yourself and sometimes you're not lucky enough to have a family member, a friend or a neighbor to through the hassle of helping you find and get what you need to survive. They become that care taker!! Call doctors, insurance companies, whatever it takes until you receive the medicine you need at your door while you're laying in bed unable to move. I would honestly say it's like a dream pharmacy you would think is distinct from existing. The care we used to receive back in the days when the doctor understood you're sick and came to see you at home in bed lol! Now you're sick but you have to go, sit, wait and suffer then go home and feel sicker for ten days after the visit for what you've gone through just to be seen then face the trip going from one pharmacy to the other until you find all 3 or 4 medicines you need, then go home then return a couple of days later to pick them up!!!! A little bit too much when you're disabled Wish all pharmacies worked the same way and wish I was still able to get my medication from there, but guess every nice dream have to end at some point. I visited this Pharmacy a few times for the simple convience of its location nestled on the Nortside-Forsyth Hospital campus where many of the doctors have their offices. This pharmacy advertises home deliveries which I tried twice and discovered it to be more of an inconvenience than just going to the pharmacy myself. It was also my experience. to find their prices somewhat a bit pricey, however I pulled my business from this pharmacy because of their terrible sarcastic way the owner spoke to the customers. I did not appreciate the owner standing behind the counter-petition bottom glass top while wearing a handless head set for the vv telephone. I certainly. had no issue with the head set but for me I found it difficult to communicate with him because I could not distinguish if he was speaking to someone over the telephone or speaking to me. I personally was uncomfortable having the pharmacist discuss with me the prescriptions I was purchasing and the information regarding the medication, which I would have welcomed the information but it was my understating the same privacy governing the hippa laws in a pharmacy as was in the doctors office. Perhaps I am mistaken on the laws rules an etc., but it would have been more comforting to me if he would have taken a couple of steps by unleashing his head gear and offered just a bit of personality, perhaps I may have considered trying the pharmacy a few more time based on the convience, but how has it growth, and expansion can sometime be a menace. The hospital and the numerous number of new doctors buildings took a spert and with the growth went all the convience because there is not any convenience in walking through an over crowed parking lot in gthe cold, heat, or rain, after circling a parking lot which resembles a Christmas Eve parking lot in front of the most popular store at the mall, good luck with all of that business. It is so enjoying to me visiting a family owned and operated pharmacy that has the smell and petina that just makes the professionalism so welcoming. It. I recently switched to Lakeside after getting sick of being treated terribly by the pharmacy next to my son's doctor. Why did I wait so long?!?!? The people at Lakeside are so nice! The only downside is that parking is difficult at the hospital. However, they offer free delivery, so I plan to use that when I don't need the meds right away and for refills. read more

I have been using Lakeside Pharmacy for years, then my coverage changed so I had to use another pharmacy. As change happens I was so happy to go back to them. Here is the most bizarre and extraordinary example of bad customer service and great customer service. Bad: My prescription for the first time did not arrive in a timely manner. Called Lakeside and they got right on it. I get a call from UPS saying that my package was delivered to a business (will withhold name) and do I want to go over there and get it. WHAT???? You deliver my package to the wrong place and you want me to go get it. I laughed...and declined the offer. Good: I call Lakeside and tell them about the call I got they could not believe it. They were very apologetic and said they would make sure I got it this afternoon. I was wondering how they were going to get UPS to do that. Well...they sent someone from Lakeside to go and get my package which took an hour and a half to locate and then they just brought it to me. I've been using Lakeside Pharmacy for years and they're the best! The doctors office I use is in the same building so it's very convenient for me. I am rarely sick but when I get a prescription filled they are always very fast, in and out within a few minutes. They offer free delivery which is nice for the older people that can't get out much. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service I receive from Lakeside Pharmacy. Until I started using the doctors in the same building I had always gone to my local Kroger/Publix to have prescriptions filled. It was okay, but knew I would have to drop the script off and come back later, or wait (sometimes up to thirty minutes or more) for them to be fill. Once I had gone to Lakeside a few times they called me by name and were always ready to help and answer any question I had. I love how I can have my prescriptions refilled on line, and have them delivered to me. If I have a question, I email, and within the next hour I have a response. Not only is Dr. Apollon willing to always stop what he is doing to come out and help me, Jamie has customer service skills second to none. Could not believe the rude way I was treated by the owner. We were using them for a few months with no issues. Once a question arose about a prescription, I was talked to very rudely. He didn't take the time to listen to what I was saying and jumped to conclusions. When mentioning I was taking my business elsewhere, the owner yelled across the store in front of costumers, "that's good. I don't need your business. The feeling is mutual". Rude! Rude! Rude! Service is fast. Parking is convenient, esp. since they moved to the 1505 Medical Office Building. They could use a roped line to queue people. They close for lunch. It took me a couple of times to remember that and I've had to run other errands and come back. It's better to go to a Rite Aid, Walgreens, or CVS where their hours are waay better, have many locations (esp. closer to home and a grocery store), and are open 7 days of the week, unlike Lakeside which is closed on Sundays. I consistently get the best service, every time, with the Pharmacy Manager, Alex. He is always efficient, knowledgeable, informative, sincere and professional. There was one (1) time where I didn't have the full attention of the owner. Other than that, the owner is pleasant, too. If you don't get Alex at the counter, I highly recommend you establish what your name is. Apparently, reading can be a challenge for one of their employees, even though a written prescription clearly states "Patient's name: xxxx." To avoid any confusion and delays, just get Alex. I did not appreciate being asked to call my doctor to make sure my electronic prescription was submitted, when I had a time stamp on my receipt that it was. If your electronic prescription can't be found on Lakeside's computer, get Alex to pull it up, or ask the employee to simply scroll down to the next page to find it. read more

After my review of this business, you can see the response below from Dr. Apollon A. Constantinides, Jr, the proprietor of Lakeside Pharmacy. I believe that my favorite part of that commentary was when he accused me of providing "false" statements and then went on to not so subtly suggest that I provided these statements for "monetary gain." It is amazing how quickly Dr. Constantinides' response reverted to finger pointing and an escalating desperate attempt to discredit my negative review of his establishment. This is the exact same behavior that made me feel it was my responsibility to let others know of the appallingly bad customer service they would likely receive here. Fortunately, Dr. Constantinides freely choose to lend that additional bit of creditability with his tasteless and baseless response to my review. But by all means, don't take my word for it. There are many other detailed and well written commentaries by fellow Yelp users that detail similar experiences to my own. Best of luck to you all in finding a compounding pharmacy that is a good fit for your needs; I know personally how difficult it can be. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I wish there was a "no stars" option. I was treated rudely on the phone by staff members, only to be passed then to the owner, Apollon. Apollon began by excusing the behavior of the staff, and systematically dismissing my concerns. When that tactic did not work, his responses degenerated to downright rude and hostile. I have since switched to another pharmacy and I couldn't be happier. I also noted that the gel capsules my new pharmacy uses are a much higher quality. I used to have a frequent issue with the capsules rupturing in my esophagus, and if I didn't drink something immediately I would get chemical burns in my throat. Although it had become "par for the course" during my Lakeside Pharmacy days, once I switched pharmacies the problem completely resolved itself. I have not had faced the issue since. I suppose the old saying is true: you get what you pay for! There are other compounding pharmacies out there, and I am absolutely sure that you would be happier frequenting another establishment. read more
