The employees here are always super nice and helpful. I purchased a new CPAP mask last Friday and they clearly explained the 7-day exchange window before I made the purchase. I was not happy with that mask, so I took it back today (within the 7-day window) and exchanged it for a new one. Easy peasy. We discussed what I didn't like about the first one and she helped me find a new one. And their selection is extensive. When I first got my CPAP a few years ago, the sleep clinic I purchased it from had maybe 3-4 masks to choose from. This store has SO many more to choose from! My medical office sold me CPAP masks and supplies in the past, and, using my medical insurance benefits, these things always ended up costing me a lot of $$$$. I looked online and noticed this office In Alpharetta that sells CPAP-related items and noticed that the out-of-pocket prices for the same masks were less expensive than what I paid when I used my benefits! I'm not going to pay the higher costs anymore; that's just dumb! Local CPAP is easy to get to, parking is plentiful, the people are experts in their CPAP knowledge, and their prices are less than other places that I found online. I was able to describe what I wanted and they showed me masks that fit the bill. They even took the time to ensure the mask would fit for me, not only by putting a test mask on me and letting me check out the features, but also let me hook it up to the CPAP machine they provided to make sure I was satisfied with it. This a very small office in a small business complex, and the employees are welcoming, helpful and efficient. If you're in the area, check this place out, or check online and order. I was told that they ship overnight for free if you order a minimum of $99 of items. Just remember that they don't bill through your medical benefits, but they do accept HSA and FSA. read more

Their prices for cpap machines are so low. I paid out of pocket because it was cheaper than going through my insurance company at the doctor's office. Also, here they have the best old fashioned customer service--they answer your questions, give you as much time as you need, patiently let you try out different parts, etc. Just call ahead and make an appointment as it can get pretty busy in this small office. I would rate Local CPAP a ZERO if permitted. I have used a CPAP device for more than twenty years. When my travel device broke while I was in Atlanta in July 2021, I had to replace it immediately and did so at Local CPAP. In order to make the purchase I was required to submit my prescription for the device. I filed a claim with my health insurer, Aetna Medicare, for the purchase and was reimbursed at the appropriate amount. My insurer informed me that Local CPAP should reimburse me fro the difference between the retail price I paid and the Medicare authorized price, which is several hundred dollars less. When I requested such reimbursement, Local CPAP refused to make it. Such refusal is WRONG and, in fact, a violation of U.S. law. I informed Local CPAP that the seller of my previous travel device (Z-1) made the comparable reimbursement six years earlier, but Local CPAP has still not paid the refund due to me as of July 2022, a full year later. BEWARE shopping with Local CPAP -- it is not an honest vendor. read more

Left my CPAP power supply cord at home in Florida and didn't realize it until 9pm Friday night in Atlanta. Panicked thinking I'd never find a store open on Saturday. These folks were from 10am-1pm. Got there and Brent knew exactly which power supply I needed and it was priced very reasonably. I saw an automated device for cleaning a CPAP machine and asked him about it. Brent gave me an excellent demonstration on how it worked, answered all of our questions and with zero sales pressure, left us to ponder. My wife and I decided on the spot to buy one since I had been researching the product for some months. Brent took the time to unbox the product, walk us through its setup and use and was the total professional. Highly knowledgeable man. Patient, thorough, very easy to talk to, Brent turned my pending weekend from one of trepidation to one of easy relaxation. Brent even told me he would email me videos about this cleaning device. I thought I'd get them in a day or so. Nope, we weren't five minutes down the road before my phone chimed with the emails arrival. After a hard week out of town and two days without my CPAP mask I searched around for a local CPAP supplier. I found Local CPAP in Alpharetta, GA. And they are available and open, by appointment on Saturday- YEAH!!! My CPAP mask broke and it would normally take about 3 to 4 business days to get a replacement.
