When my mother came back alone and told them she could not see, they insisted the glasses were correct. Then they offered to give her another eye exam. For an additional charge. To fix their own mistake. Let me say that again. They made the wrong lenses. Told a 76+ year-old woman she was wrong. Then tried to charge her again. I came to the store to resolve this. I had the original prescription. The lenses did not match. This was not a matter of opinion. It was a verifiable error. Instead of apologizing and issuing a refund, the staff argued, deflected, and eventually called mall security on me. Security came. Security did nothing. Because I was right. They finally issued a full refund. But only after I refused to leave and only after several other customers in the store witnessed the entire thing and walked out. My mother is visiting from overseas. She needed these glasses. She is leaving in days and now has no glasses because this store wasted weeks of her time with a product they made incorrectly and then defended as correct. If you are elderly, if you do not speak perfect English, if you are someone who might not push back, be very careful here. The staff at this location will tell you the problem is your eyes, not their work. And they will try to charge you to fix what they broke. I got my money back. Most people will not

We came in, waited a beat, got taken back and went through the exam. Then the doctor took the time to explain what the results were. Not just gave them to us... he explained them and made sure we understood... a rarity in our world of physician care these days. We selected frames and went through the process in short order... Additionally, when I asked why they emailed me the day of my appointment rather than pick up the phone to call me, she tried to gaslight me and told me they have tried to call me when that is 1000% not true. I received ZERO phone calls or voicemails from them. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. Barbara was super patient with my daughter and myself as we went thru the purchasing part. This was my first time having vision insurance and she didn't try to upsell me or push anything. My daughter is special needs and she was especially kind and gracious to us. There was also another lady named Natae, she was awesome too. We talked about her dog who was her fur baby.
