We typically go with America's Best for glasses but since hubby and I are new to the area and have…read morevision insurance now, which we did not have before, we decided to try something different when we went for our eye exams this year. Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that $110 without insurance would get me both exams. The Dr is not in on Wednesdays so I chose a Saturday morning appointment. This location is next door to UPS store and Baskin Robbins. You can see it off the street clearly. It's in the same shopping plaza as Chipotle and Sprouts. The parking is free and plentiful. I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. The level of care is superb!

I came to this location for my exam and my wife did as well. It is a nice location with nice areas, clean rooms, up to date equipment, good doctors, and a wide selection of frames. We came in, waited a beat, got taken back and went through the exam. Then the doctor took the time to explain what the results were. Not just gave them to us... he explained them and made sure we understood... a rarity in our world of physician care these days. We selected frames and went through the process in short order... A great location that I just wish was open on Saturday!! Obviously we will be back... I made my next appointment for January already.

Very knowledgeable staff, answered all of my questions, and guided me every step of the way. Dr. Dicus was amazing, very comforting and professional. She took the time to explain the process and results of my exam in a very logical manner, I never felt rushed. After having very poor eye exam experiences somewhere else, it was a very pleasant surprise to see how smooth the process could be with the right optometrist. This was my first time visiting Alpharetta Eye Clinic, but they are clearly focused on delivering a great Customer Experience, and they nailed it!

The offices are nice…read more However, if you are trying to make glasses or sunglasses that are perhaps not the most straightforward - like aviators with a high base curve, their lab seems to struggle with craftsmanship in making them. I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

The office is spotless, well organized, and there were no long wait times which is so rare these days. Dr. Krishan Bhima is phenomenal. He took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and got to the root of the issue with a solution that was tailored to me. His bedside manner is kind, calm, and never rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their long term eye health. With his extensive background and years of experience in the Atlanta area, I felt completely confident in his care. Chris Jones, the office manager, is also a true standout. Her years of optical experience show in the way she communicates and supports both the team and the patients. She is knowledgeable, honest, approachable, and goes above and beyond to help you navigate your options. You feel like more than just a number here. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Cumming or North Atlanta area. It is rare to find a team that combines professionalism, warmth, and real expertise but this office does exactly that. I will definitely be returning and referring others.

That said, the Lenscrafters optician shop next door has a mixed review. The staff seems a little slow to get to people, they do a great job when they finally get to you, just always are short staffed when I am there. The company itself seems to be pricing themselves out of the market. I paid over $1,200 for 2 pair of glasses, not even designer high priced frames, just a single vision set and a multi-focal set. The high price along with a very CHEAP policy of not giving you anything more than 6 individual eye wipes after spending so much money infuriates me! This company needs to at least show some appreciation to their customers by providing a bottle of lens cleaner or a box of lens wipes with each pair of glasses. I will be trying an on line provider next, it looks like I can get the same type of prescriptions for less than half of what Lenscrafter's charges. That way I can afford to buy my own lens wipes!

I won't have glasses all week for work so that's great thanks LensCrafters you suck.
