If you have monthly refills you might be able to save quite a bit of money at Goodson. The pharmacist will take the time to discuss the medication and give you an information sheet. If you don't feel like walking inside, give them a call when you pull in the parking lot and they will bring your meds out to the car. We transferred all of our prescriptions over from a large chain grocery store and now we save money and time. I also like it that they carry old fashioned candy by the piece!

This particular location is pretty busy, but it is close to my home. The staff here all are professional, courteous, and super helpful. It is amazing how busy they are, considering that there are a LOT of people that need their medications filled frequently. My parents came back from a trip and both are ill. They had medications called in to the pharmacy and this morning when I called to see if they were ready, the pharmacist on duty today (Asha) acknowledged receiving their scripts, and also the fact that I was personally recognized via my name. I usually come in to the store and interact with the staff, but out of an abundance of caution I used the drive thru to keep everyone safe. They were so lightning fast, after opening up this morning at 10 everything was ready within 30 minutes...which was the promised time- but my mom got a text after 10 minutes saying it was completed. Just fantastic stuff. No one really ever thinks about the need for a pharmacy to be good (essentially they need to be perfect, 100 percent of the time!), and take the time to acknowledge the staff. Only when something goes wrong do people write about it, and that seems pretty unfair. So I want to give a shout out to the folks here at Walgreens, and the staff in the pharmacy specifically. They received the prescription on MONDAY, it is FRIDAY and they refused to fill it. As a customer, I felt disrespected and ignored when I tried to express my concerns. The technician didn't greet me when I arrived for a vaccine, and they loudly shared personal information like date of birth and full names in front of others--something that should have been handled with more privacy. I was called back and forth multiple times due to poor communication, and when I brought this up, Megha became defensive instead of listening. What made it worse was that she tried to bring up a discount her technician gave --as if that excuses her behavior. It's not about money. It's about basic respect and professionalism, which she clearly needs training on. My parents also felt uncomfortable with the way things were handled. I only came to this location because of James, the pharmacy manager, who is always professional and helpful. But because of Megha's behavior, I'm switching to CVS. I hope district management takes action and provides proper customer service training especially around empathy and communication to this pharmacist. So I took the new one for several months ... then went in again to learn they'd changed it AGAIN! Three different birth control pills in a year. And they promised "the pills were just alike." Hmmm ... not at all what my OB-GYN said. And when I called to have my script transferred to Kroger so I could get my original pills, they called to tell me that they could get me whatever I wanted; they just had to make a 'special' order. Um, really? Thanks for telling me after I've had hormonal swings of every way a woman can imagine.. and for months! Oh, and they said "no one has ever complained about the pills being different." Thanks... you don't have to belittle my concern when I voiced it. I know my body better than you do, Ms. Pharmacist. Everyone IS different and will have various reactions to such changes. And then, as my doctor was reading the $500 ultrasound I JUST had, she said that no two pills are alike, and the switching of the pills causing hormonal fluctuations was probably the reason for these new cysts on my ovaries. Too much info shared? I think not. You better think again before going to this pharmacy. They don't care about your health-care and they belittled my concern over what was happening with my body.
