Sub from the deli
Gretchen S.

I like this Publix. Parking is much better than a lot of other locations even though, yes, you are competing with the Target crowd. The service/ wait at the deli is better here than at the Shallowford location in terms of being able to keep space from people and not having a cramped waiting area. Lines are long at most Publix stores at peak lunch/ dinner times - it's just to be expected. The chicken, sandwiches, and sushi brought in are always fresh and tasty at this location. The workers are so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite locations besides the Lilburn/Rockbridge one.

You must wear a facial mask and social distancing is a must. I had to pick up some things for my family, and this is the closest Publix near me. It was lunch time, so the deli was kind of crowded. You must wait for your turn and also they have stickers on the floor to let you know where to wait at and how far apart you must stand to stay safe. The store is super clean, friendly employees and fresh food. I purchased salad for the week for me and my Husband and son ordered an Italian sub. They now have the salad bar open, where customers can prepare their own salad or soups of choice. Due to the Coronavirus, I wouldn't feel safe, but the store does. I'm glad I did see an employee once, as I was at the deli, that went to check on the salad bar if anyone needed assistance. I will definitely be back soon for groceries though. I'm sure Publix will continue to take care of their customers.

It sucks traveling and feeling like this!!

Nice grocery location... I have been doing a lot of traveling lately... and this time when I landed I started to not feel so well. As the day went on it progressively goof worse! So as I headed to the hotel I saw a sign for this location and tthought I would pull in to get some meds. The parking lot was actually quite dimly lit... for me it was fine but I would not be happy about my wife coming here on her own at night with how dark it was. Anything more then a few spaces out was in almost complete blackness. The store itself was nice. Clean well laid out a big selection of cold meds, and (as I walked by i noticed...) a very good selection of wine and beer. The checkout lady was fast and kind... maybe she wanted MMs home because I was obviously "infected"! I don't know but it took about 2 seconds to be checked out and I was on my way. Nice place! Seriously I thought the store was great... just get some lights in the lot so we feel safe!

They did a great job with our birthday cake! We bought some cake toppers off Amazon and they did an amazing job of assembling an awesome scene on top the cake!

There's always lots of free and easy parking, especially on the weekends, which is a huge advantage over ones that are in the city. It is always an adventure discovering new items and revisiting favorites. Some of the things that are always on our list are fresh flowers and herbs, produce, frozen food, pastas, and bread. The employees here are just as nice and helpful as other locations. The people who bag groceries must have played some serious Tetris as kids because they are highly skilled at fitting an extraordinary amount of things into as few bags as possible. We bring our own shopping bags but if the haul is bigger than what we can accommodate, it's good to know that we won't be going home with a million plastic bags but maybe 1-2 sturdy paper bags that can be reused or recycled.

So much food here from fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, ice cream, snacks, and more. Customer service here was great. Nice and clean aisle. Some things I liked and have tried from the frozen food aisles are soup dumplings, roti bread, and chao tom- fried shrimp skewers. I have also tried the assorted cookies, mochi ice cream, ube pancake mix, umami crunchy rice crackers, and of course the famous everything but the bagel seasoning! From our new haul today we also got some frozen goodies; kimbap, naan bread, butter chicken curry dinners, Japanese Taiyaki,, Dutch griddle cakes, chocolate covered prezels, and other snacks. They also have the kids carts! Fun to take a little one shopping along. Will be back again!

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

However, the staff at Customer Service are not that friendly professional or helpful. They are unwelcoming, inattentive and dismissive. If you ask for assistance with an item, the response is a no or yes if they have it stocked and they will not ask if they can help you locate it. The Customer service staff need basic training on how to provide customer service to customers. They seem to be deficient in this area. I believe the staff could be better trained to ensure a welcoming environment. I enjoy shopping at this store, and I hope to see improvements in employee friendliness. An newly trained employee at Customer Service is an employee named Julian. He is friendly, helpful, willing to help locate items and always professional. He needs to work more in Customer Service. I get to the register and the price rings up about four dollars more than expected. I tell the attendant and take him to where the item is. When we get back there, he discovers someone put the item in the wrong place. He points out to me the two different prices in the respective ounces per price. Although he knew someone had put the item in the wrong spot, he did not offer to give me the item at the lower price. I placed the item back on the shelf and left the store. Needless to say, I will not be returning there, nor will I be referring any more people to that location. This is just another reason for me to continue shopping at Publix! Oh! As I walked away, I turned around and saw him moving the items over to the sticker, with the correct price!

The customer service lady was like, "You didn't get this here?" Incredulous, like I purchased the mixing bowls from some far away land at some random store. I was like, "I got them at Kroger." She said they don't stock them at that Kroger I couldn't return them. She hollered at someone across the store, "She didn't buy them here and we don't stock them, can she return them?" And the person she yelled at said, "NO." I knew all this was wrong. I went up to another lady, who I hoped was a manager, and she said that they couldn't return them because they don't stock them and they have no where to put them. Still makes no sense to me. So I give up, and go get my groceries, when LO AND BEHOLD, an entire SHELF stocked with the exact same product. I won't go into the drama that ensued, but even after showing them they DO stock the item they tried to not return them. Eventually, a manager came over, and the person was like, "Can we return these even if we don't get credit from the store?" And the manager just was like, "Yes." It was twilight zone. It would have saved ALL of us tons of time if they just returned them in the first place.

T A S T E Deli Sandwich : if you're from the metro Atlanta area, you know about Publix! What isn't there to love? My sister and I came in and we ordered one of their specials which was a full sandwich for 8$. It came with sliced chicken, bacon, cream cheese, pepper jelly, three pepper Colby Jack cheese, and whatever toppings you wanted. We definitely did not want half of that stuff lol and the person behind the counter was nice enough to let us customize it. We also got it on mountain bread which comes up to being two full sandwiches because it's on sliced bread. So we essentially got two sandwiches for the price of one. This is normal for Publix, and was not a hook up or a favor. Overall, the ingredients were really fresh. S E R V I C E I appreciated that we were able to customize a sandwich however we wanted.
