This is a wonderful Publix location. I usually stop by here on my way home from the gym or when I'm coming from Johns Creek. The layout makes it easy to get in and get out, which I really appreciate. Their self-checkout kiosks work well and help make the process smooth and quick. The food is high quality, and the overall experience at Publix is usually a step above. I was literally in line for 46 minutes at the deli today. They use a ticket system, and when I arrived, they were already 7 subs behind. Anna and China both looked like they didn't know how to do their job -- moving at a snail's pace with no urgency or customer care. While waiting, I overheard them blaming a customer for "not ordering something that would be less work." The poor customer ended up apologizing, when it should have been the deli staff apologizing. The only bright spot was Ryan, who was at least professional and actually tried to speed things up. Overall, still completely unprofessional and not what I expect from Publix. read more

The sub line is always so slow. Also I wanted to try pumpkin croissant but the pastry looked burnt. I checked the pumkin croissant on different days and the croissant always look burnt. We just moved to the area. This is the closest Publix to our new home. Within 2 weeks, I've been approached almost EVERY visit (4xs) about my Service/Assistance Animal. The 1st three times, the young ladies were professional and accommodating. This evening walking towards the produce area, a white woman, pixie cut, overweight, mid 60's seemingly, approached me passing in less than 30 seconds and says: "You're not allowed to have a pet here!" Well HELLO to you too! I stated, she's a service/assistance animal and flashed my badge which was already very visible. She says, "I see that! But FDA has a new policy for people with physical disabilities!" In less than 30 seconds, we have a person who can tell me what/if I have a disability and what my animal is capable of. She's in the WRONG field isn't she?! Well Karen, apparently you didn't know what the new policy was either, considering you just ended with "just so you know". Just so you know, I felt profiled and discriminated against and my animal as well. There is NO size requirement for a service animal, you do NOT know her capabilities nor my disabilities and she WAS tethered to me, which is an option for Service/Assistance Animals! NO other business ever harassed me, as I have been at this Publix. Not even the other Publix locations. What are you offering a Xmas bonus on profiling people for disabilities?! "Service animals are called "assistance animals" in Georgia, and the state defines them as dogs that are or have been trained by a licensed or certified person, organization, or agency to perform physical tasks for a physically disabled person. This Publix is my all time favorite! Employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is always well stocked, organized and clean! I always shop the BOGO sales, and have never had an issue with out of stock items, not the case for other local groceries stores. The deli is awesome as well. This is my to go Publix when I'm back in town! Seriously it's a life saver when you need to cook or specially when you are hangry! I'm glad that we live close by so a quick run to Publix to grab some ingredients and back home to cook makes this place a 5 stars for me. They have most of the things I need for the house, starting from groceries, household cleaners, disposables, small electronics, kitchen utensils, etc. Also I'm glad they have their international area where you can get a variety of items from other countries. Of course you won't find tradicional or OG items but some popular international food products you will be able to find. I use to like going to this location until today. I saw abusive behavior towards employees by a so called supervisor. I described to a cashier her characteristics and she state that her name was Connie. What a disgusting scenario I saw. Poor children that work their they are too young for this kind of treatment. Any company willing to keep this so called Connie as a manager or supervisor is a horrible store to work at. I will be writing a letter to corporate until this situation is fixed. Publix used to be a great grocery store to shop at but they have gone downhill at this location. The only reason why I give two stars is because the pharmacy staff is amazing as well as the staff bagging groceries. However, I had a horrible run in with one cashier and she has soured my whole experience to where I will only use Publix for its pharmacy and nothing more. I went in to pick up a prescription and happened to see a sign that soda was on sale (buy two, get two free). The signage said it only excluded Aquafina and seltzer water products. I grabbed three Pepsi products and one 7-Up product figuring they were all part of the same promotion. I get up to the cashier and it rings up and first she says it's not on sale. Then she finally pulled out the sale paper and saw it listed as on sale and still claimed ok it must not be on sale. The bagger walked with me to the soda aisle and saw that the products were all marked buy two get two and he kindly explained that even though it was vague, it meant buy two Pepsi products, get two free. He told me because the signage was vague, they would honor it, but I said since I made a mistake, I would just grab another case of Pepsi instead. I had made an honest mistake thinking they were all part of the same sale, but it was extremely nice of him to say they would have honored it if I so wanted. Problem solved and explained in a polite manner, but woah was I wrong. The cashier CONTINUED to argue with me, telling me I was wrong even though I was no longer trying to purchase the 7-Up product. I told her that yes, it does say buy two get two free and the signs are vague, but rather than accept that, she continues to argue! I tried to pay and then she canceled the transaction and took me to customer service, telling me I was their problem now. I ended up not purchasing anything. She was rude, argumentative, and did not once try to explain the error to me, but continued to say "you're wrong". If she had been polite and just explained to me that I had misread the promo, that would have been it. I tried to lodge a complaint against her but I know the manager just brushed me off. Same as when I tried to leave a compliment about the other staff who were helpful. Based on how the other employees acted around her, I do not believe this is the first occurrence and it will not be the last since I was not taken seriously. I can understand being wrong, but that does not mean it should continue to be rubbed in my face! I am extremely disappointed to see such behavior in this day and age, but what can I do except shop elsewhere? read more

This is my local Publix and they do an exceptional job. The employees are always friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond. When they make a mistake they are quick to accept responsibility and make things right. The produce and meats are always fresh and well displayed. Publix may not be the cheapest place to shop but I truly love shopping here. They make me feel valued as a customer. I also feel like they are supportive of the community and schools in the area. This was one of my favorite Publix's to go to but I may have to think twice about coming here and to any of the other Publix locations where I see the same thing. They don't enforce mask wearing. Yes, we're in a pandemic and yes, there's a sign that is up that you must wear masks at this location; however, there has been a couple of occasions I've seen some customers that aren't wearing masks. Very disappointing that it's not being enforced. I've been reluctant to check-out in the same line they were in before me as well as shopping in the same aisle. The employees here have always been nice and the store is kept organized and refilled which had kept me coming back. Even after speaking to management I was given a very vanilla answer to this big concern. I hope corporate Publix will do a better job of caring and keeping all of their employees safe AND their customers by enforcing customers to wear a mask. If you don't want to follow a store's guidelines please shop somewhere else. read more

This store gave me the worst publix experience. If you are a store manager reading this, you should consider training your customer service representative again. I visited this store around 8:50 pm with my 2 yr old son to buy balloons. I asked a staff member on the floor for assistance with helium. She paged someone and told me someone will be with me shortly. 10 minutes went by and no one came to me. I walked over to customer service to inform I was standing and waiting for 10 mins and no one came by. The customer service preventative (who was there at 9 pm on 8/22/21) pager someone again. I waited in the balloons area but no one came for 5 mins again. I walked over to customer service again but no one was there. A cashier asked if she could help me and I shared no one came for 15 mins after 2 pagers. I started to show my frustration and asked if there was actually anyone who could help me because I would just walk away if no one can help me. At that moment, the customer service representative came out and looked at me. I said "I don't want to get mad at you guys but I have been waiting there for no one for 15 mins after two pagers". Then the customer representative said "you look mad. You want me to help you now?" I am sure you guys may get crazy customers throughout the day. However, was it that difficult to say "I am sorry. Let me walk over there with you now to get you what you need." Customer service folks get paid more than other staff members as they are there to assist customers on various matters. I purposely left a time and date I visited and explained the situation as detail as possible with a hope that someone who cares about this store can help the customer service representative understand how to mitigate issues with customers instead of making them into bigger problems.... Thanks Publix for giving me this memorable experience. I probably won't shop at this store at all.... read more

I was very disappointed when I went to Publix today to just get a small case of Coke zero. I came to the one register and there were three young employees at the back of the register and the one ringing up a customer, the only customer he had Who was buying like one item, said "please go to the next register". So, I went to the next register, but there was nobody there, and it was right next-door. However, on the way around to the register a passed by a young lady named morgan, who was supposed to be at the register. And she didn't come over until till I finally got to the register. But she sure wasn't in your hurry, as she nonchalantly walked back behind the register and even then, she didn't greet me at first. So, I felt pretty disrespected. The kicker to the whole thing, is that theses young people were just standing around at the back of the register at register seven and register six, or right in that area, and were just talking to one another. They didn't care! So, halfway to my car, I said no! I walked back in there went to customer service, And told Dominique that I want a refund because I was not happy with the customer service. But she didn't even ask me what was wrong with it. That is, Until I told her, "do you wanna know why I wasn't happy?" and her reply was, "well, I was gonna ask you" Too late, a pause says it all! Anyway, she did let me vent, and seemed sincere about her apology, and I think she was sincere. I never forget a paper for my undergrad major in marketing which showed from research that nine out of 10 dissatisfied customers walk, and only one out of 10 talks. So, knowing that, I have always appreciated and encouraged customers who were unhappy with something I was involved in in sales, including retail sales, to tell me everything! Because it's like gold! Because other people aren't telling me what they're finally telling me! I recently did some research on the same customer service response surveys, and I found out that it is now 19 people who walk and never come back compared to the one who talks. And that only says that customer service is getting worse! To me it all starts at the top, whether it was a store manager, or the CEO of Publix down in Florida, the people on the front line of any organization are always just a direct reflection of the disposition and attitude of their leadership! I ordered a cupcake from the bakery for my son to bite into that would reveal the gender of our unborn child. Nothing complicated, just one large cupcake with white frosting on top and blue icing in the middle. The moment comes and we are all anxiously awaiting the color to peek through, especially my 6 year old. He is biting and finally gets to the center and there is NO icing in the center. NO ICING! You had one job Publix! Needless to say, it was very disappointing. I am noticing more and more that a lot of employees at this location specifically just do not care. This is my go to Publix location because it is a few minutes from my home. I am a fan of Publix. The lighting in this particular grocery store chain makes everything look so fresh and crisp. I frequent the deli. The publix vegetarian sub is a go-to for me when I want a filling sandwich. The bakery is one of my favorite grocery store bakeries. Heck, it's just a great bakery period. Their decadent cake line has a delectable cake selection at inexpensive prices. I recently celebrated my birthday and ordered my cake from Publix decadent cake selection. My daughter loves the Latte blast cake from their decadent cake line. My mother loves the raspberry elegance. read more

They have renovated over the years to keep up with the demand and are actually one of the few stores with a self checkout area! Publix has always ranked superior over any other grocery chain and I stand loyal to them. read more

This Publix is located in a nice shopping mall, so it is convenient to access other stores, including the USPS, UPS store, Wendy's and Chase Manhattan Bank. This Publix is well maintained, and the staff here are always quite friendly. Their selection is nearly always stocked, and if there is a spill on the floor, they are typically in the area and its cleaned up quite quickly. There are 4 entrance points - 2 from McGinnis Ferry Road, 1 from PIB and then one from another street (Forgot the name - but it leads to the US Postal service). There are lights at the major intersections allowing you to get out as needed too. There is ample parking and it always give you that warm and safe feeling. read more

This update isn't so much about this location of Publix, but the drivers that park at this Publix location. It's an easy statement to say that this location of Publix has the WORST drivers around. "Lazy" covers pretty much the majority of road-hazards that frequent this establishment, often times putting pedestrians and other drivers at risk. The lines in parking lot are meant to delineate where your vehicle should and shouldn't be, and those pesky arrows are meant to point the direction in which you are to go, not the reverse. If you are offended by this statement, then chances are I am talking about you. For some reason John's Creek and Suwanee are quickly becoming the wild-west for commuting with minivans and Nissan Leafs with their only goal is to answer the phone and attempt to kill you. read more

Stopped by here on the way home from the gym yesterday to pick up some subs and do some grocery shopping. I usually go the publix up the street from my house but this one was more convenient yesterday. It's set up a little differently from the publix that I usually frequent so my grocery shopping took longer than I wanted. My subs made up for it though. The lady that made my subs was great! She was friendly and was extra generous with the toppings on my subs! A foot long was only a little over $6 which is extremely reasonably priced considering how much extra toppings I got and how delicious the sub was! read more

I live down the street from this store and up until last week I didn't notice how beautiful it is! Shopping is indeed a pleasure. The employees are very polite and helpful! The prices are good also! The meat department is great! They had a great deal of sales when I went. I love sales at any store. I have had bad experiences at publix but this location makes up for it! My cashiers were very nice and offered to take my groceries out for me-of course i declined because I can do that myself! I would say that about 90% of the time Publix Super Markets are first rate. This Publix location is definitely in that first rate category. The store is sparkling clean, their selection is beyond extensive, the staff that I have encountered have been friendly, professional and prompt. The prices for basic groceries can be a bit higher than some of the competition but the overall quality, atmosphere and shopping experience at Publix makes the slightly higher prices worthwhile. I've been going to this Publix for nearly 4 years now and we love it here. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Sometimes they'll offer you the store coupons even though you haven't clipped them for the extra discount. We love stopping by the bakery and having our kids get a free cookie (not to mention, Publix cakes are delicious!). The Italian bread is the best and everyone behind the bakery counter is very sweet. My only complaint would be for the deli (deli meat and cheeses). It gets very busy and one lady in particular is extremely rude. Every time I go her attitude manages to put anyone receiving service from her in a bad mood. I completely understand how slicing deli meats and cheeses on the spot can be time consuming and cause a wait - I highly recommend using the Publix online order to avoid this. Most of the staff there, especially the younger people, are still very nice! I also have to add, twice now, my online orders were never fulfilled and even thought a flustered apology was offered I never managed to say "yes" to allowing them to make the meal or deli order on the spot because I know it will take longer than I have time to wait. read more

My worst possible Publix experience ever. Usually at Publix you find helpful staff and management but not at this location! The only person here that I would give five stars is Jeff in the Deli. He is always courteous when we come in. The cashier Lance needs a class on customer service and race relations! He was very rude at check out and then scrutinized a $50 bill for about 2 minutes before accepting it and clearly it was legitimate yet he did not do it to the couple in front of us who paid with a $100 bill. I don't like to play the race card but when comparing his interaction with them vs his with us it's more than obvious what his issue was.
