Today, a good day at Publix picking up Pub Subs & Made-to-Order Salad. Here's the scoop! This Publix on Lawrenceville/Suwanee. At Duluth Hwy. Today, the associates were friendly & spot on!! Check the SIZE of these Chicken Tender Subs & Salad. Store was clean & now have stanchions to help with the line that forms quickly. I can say the salad was OUTSTANDING! Tenders, lettuce/spinach, tomatoes, onions, peppers, cucumbers... VERY GOOD!! These subs are FAT. Pics are 1/2 a sub. OMG & check the prices. Well worth the line!! read more

I've had issues with the pharmacy, the deli, and today the system is down so cards can't run. I have nothing but cards! The pharmacy is always backed up and will never send reminders. I've put in a mobile order for a sandwich and it was never completed. When I asked about it, the guy behind the counter asked for help but the other employees just ignored him purposely and didn't step in to help even though they were free. Tonight was the last straw. I get systems go down. But to make me go to another line and still try my cards and tell me I can't buy what I came for. No other solutions, just it's down so can't pay. BTW I was buying my dinner. Ok.. Ok I'll admit it.. Publix is definitely a higher end grocery store than Kroger, but I like using Kroger more because of their fuel points. Unfortunately, the closest Kroger I live is like 10 minutes away and I just wanted to get some greek yogurt, so I decided to come to this Publix. I always thought the nearest Publix was south from me but this Publix was only 5 minutes from my house -- I did the undoable and WALKED there. It was about a 40 minute walk and I went as soon as it opened so the place was empty. But Publix is always excellent in every way possible -- so clean and well stocked like your typical Publix. I wish they had a better rewards program but it's a premium experience so I'll make do without it. Knowing that this is the closest grocery store, I'll definitely be back here! read more

Everything is pricy here. The customer service was horrible. I never go here, I usually drive the extra 5-6 miles to Kroger. When I went to check out it was 2 registers open. After waiting 15 minutes I saw the register opening next to my line and since I was the next in line waiting I thought I'd go get checked out but the manager Aaron asked the people behind me if they'd like to check out!!!! I was looking at him like wtf. So I waited another 5 minutes for the person to get his 70 items bagged and paid. I ONLY HAD F'ING 5 items. It's why I never go to Publix. Their checkout is a nightmare and the people running it don't care about your time. I wish Whole Foods or Aldi would buy this location. It's a drag as even my neighbors shop at Kroger past Publix. read more

Just for the deli!!!! Past 3 years this deli has been awful, making sandwiches wrong, saying they called when they are out of bread. This is consistently the case. Today i go up and order the whole piece of pulled pork sl8ced, specifically state " Do not pull the pork, ill do it tonight, mind you 1200 pm. The kid is getting it ready and the lady working the sub counter comes over and kicks the kid to the sub counter. I tell her not to pull it i want it sliced. So she pulls out the meat and proceeds to stick the tongs in the meat and start twisting. I tell her a loud voice " No, I just asked you not to do that" I dont think she spoke english well and now they dont have any more pork butt, so by the time dinner is ready it will be dried out. Worst deli out of all Publix ive been too. I love Publix but this deli has never had good leadership. read more

I had the pleasure of having a great experience today at this Publix because of Marley! Publix typically houses their cornbread stuffing in one specific location and I did not see it. I grabbed my phone to find other places that may have it. I saw Marley in the check out line and asked her. She turned her available light off and escorted me over to the deli section to find it! Love this place! A little more expensive on most things, but only a little. For that little bit extra, you don't have to ring up and bag your own groceries. Unlike Kroger, every hour Publix is open, the customer service counter is open On the odd occasion that you get some bad food, you just bring it back, don't worry about finding a receipt from days ago, just bring it on back to customer service. They actually apologize for your inconvenience and let you just go pick up a new package of the same item. Good luck finding someone to help you at Walmart or Kroger. You'll either have to wait or maybe come back at another time. That's why you should at least try Publix! read more

Today I gave them a call to made sure they accepted return before I stopped by the store to returned my hair care products I just bought the wrong ones for my hair. And the lady on the phone asked me what did I bought I told her I bought a hair spray and styling gel, she said I could come and returned it. So I drove to the store and they have two ladies in the customer service counter, I think one is a manager and the other one is an employee, an employee lady looked surprised when I told her I wanted to return my hair products and as soon as the manager heard it she told me they didn't accept it now. And i told them i called before to make sure and they asked me for the name of the person i talked before i came. And the employee told me she the one in that counter all the time and i'm sure she the one told me can come and return it. They just need to tell me softly as i can keep it and return it later when this pandemic to go through but they didn't they just look at me as that my fault to try to return it right now. ‍‍‍ read more

This review is specifically regarding the deli. I went to Publix today to get a few sub sandwiches for myself and two of my colleagues. Publix has continually provided the best subs that I have ever had. Today "Dana" was working behind the counter and she was very professional and had a great demeanor about her. She smiled a lot and chatted it up with me while she was making my sandwiches. The whole experience left me feeling a little better than when I walked in the door. I don't really love this Publix, even though I end up shopping here pretty often. It's just down the street from me, so it's more convenient than the nearest Kroger or the far-superior Publix location on Old Peachtree near I-85. My biggest beef with this Publix is that they are ALWAYS out of things. Por ejemplo, every other Publix I've gone to stocks Chobani Greek yogurt. I'm addicted to the stuff but I have to go to the Publix near work because this one is ALWAYS completely out of ALL flavors. Their shelves show it as an item they stock - they're just always empty. And in case you think that I'm being picky (because I guess Greek yogurt is sort of a niche-market item), last time I went there, I was buying ingredients for red velvet cake. They were completely out of red food coloring. I get that people buy red food coloring more just before Valentine's Day... but the Kroger on Taylor Road had plenty and it looks like it gets a lot more business. I'd say on any given trip to the store, there are 2 or 3 items we want that they're out of. Sigh. This store is also notable because on one of my first trips there, the cashier noticed I had bamboo shoots and asked me what they were. Do people out here really not know what bamboo shoots are? I guess that explains why there aren't more good Chinese food restaurants out here, too. :\ read more

3.5 Stars. I knocked them down from 4 stars because of their hot deli section. Yes, everyone else mentioned that they're clean, have selection, etc. If I go to Publix, this will be the Publix I go to right now since it's closest. I am pleased that it is clean, etc. But man! I am SO disappointed that they don't have the WINGS that I want! Why, oh, why!!! I love their breaded hot & spicy wings (no! not the skinless wings). And I love Publix's breaded asian wings. But no! not the Mojo, and not the non-breaded hot&spicy wings. I went two days in a row (and many other times) but they never seem to have breaded hot & spicy wings. When I ask about it, they mention that they will make it for me, but they typically never have it. WHY, Publix, must you keep me from my breaded hot & spicy wings when I'm pregnant and craving it! My daughters birthday party was this past weekend, and my wife had originally ordered a fruit plate from the wrong publix, and through some mishaps, she managed to cancel the one we actually needed from this publix deli. Well, of course they didn't have it, but they had another fruit plate that was ordered by someone else for later in the day so they gave me that one, and then rushed to make one for the other person who was coming an hour later. They could have just said no, and the party wouldn't have had a fruit plate (my daughter loves fruit), but they thought outside the box to make a 9 year old girl very happy. I have been going to this Publix since it was built, and I will do so as long as I live here. The staff is incredibly friendly, always helpful, always asking what they can do for you, how you are, volunteering to take your things out to your car for you, or anything at all to make your experience better. The pharmacy is fantastic -- the people there are really friendly, and we're on a first-name basis with all of them. I seriously have nothing bad to say about this place and enjoy every single trip here. LOVE it! While some may say that Publix is "more expensive" -- it is in some regards, but they always have sales, and quite often those sales are "buy-one-get-one-free"... and you don't have to buy two to get one for half-off! Sales are always great, and they're constantly adding to their selection of fresh produce and organic and eclectic foods. read more

The only thing I really don't like about Publix stores is the fact that they have no types of discount cards. Some places has discount cards if you're a member and give you discounts on certain items as well as for a gas purchase. This chain doesn't do this. As they do have some quality food which I can't lie, I think they need to start keeping up with other grocery chains as far as card discounts for members. read more

This is a great grocery store. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of the Deli department. The Deli department needs improvement. They make awful sandwiches and the staff are all rude... Well, except 1 lady and she is not the manager. Maybe she should be, her customer service is always on point and she always has a smile on her face. Very rude bakery attendant. I was asking for an assortment of mini desserts and she asked which ones. I pointed to a few, and she said, well I can't see what you want. However It was obvious what I was pointing at. She then said, you know they have labels on them. That's ok, another store around the corner will be happy to have my business. Good customer service goes a long way. I just don't appreciate cocky store workers when I'm trying to spend my money. read more

This Publix hands down has the best customer service I have encountered in any grocery store. I have been shopping here every month for the past year or so and at least 5 employees (not counting the cashier) actually talk to me and ask if they can assist. Overal i love publix grocery stores but i do not like this particular location. I the fresh produce section is the worst part. I bought several packaged stuff there such tomatoes and they were rotten. I bought another time s veggie tray and the vegetables were soft and slimy...they leave bad fruits and vegetable for sale... If u go today u will still see some the bad tomatoes.. Also tge cashers are below qualified to the job... I am tiered of their casher's errors... They count the items wrong read more

Where shopping is a pleasure. I hadn't set foot in a Publix in eons, more or less because there have been none conveniently located. This Publix, or any Publix for that matter, sparks childhood memories. The same flooring, lighting, and impeccable cleanliness have survived into the 21st century. Like coming home. read more

You can't beat the friendly customer service on the isles and the meat and seafood department. Customer Service counter can improve a little depends on who's at the counter seems like a bother. But I needed a couple of slab of pork ribs and they are beautiful not fatty and frozen li I even the competition. read more

They need to train their cashiers (Mike) about scanning items in a timely manner. He was very rude and needs retraining immediately. This has caused us to rethink about shopping here instead of Krogger. read more

They have electric wheelchair (yes I need one a lot of times because I'm so weak), they said they would send an employee with me to assist retrieving items if I needed help, they also take bags to car for me and no matter how hard I pushed her to take a tip she wouldn't. Excellent location and great selection of baked goods (made on the premises compared to Kroger). There are also butchers in their meat department. So happy to have tried this one. This location has a better variety than the I-985/Friendship Rd location. read more
