This Walmart is closest to the house & I have to say they have stepped up in a good way. Still the Walmart vibe, of course. Asthetically, WAY nicer. Looks more like a Target, but again- still that chaotic Walmart energy; screaming children (they can't help being hungry or tired...), disrespectful customers & rude patrons who simply have no respect or understand how to help keep the store clean do still exist. Unfortunate. I normally shop before 9:30 am on the weekends- a much more pleasant atmosphere. By the time I am leaving the weekend crowd is coming in. I do have to say check out is WAY WAY better & employees now actually speak & smile- how wonderful!!!! Shout out for the efforts & even knowing the parking needed work too! The lot got cleaned up with new trees instead of bushes so we can see eachother clearly coming & going- it was pretty touch & go for years!! Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts & opions. Walmart is a huge company that thinks it can do whatever it wants to a Customer like me and get away with it. They cancelled my account and now won't allow me to do returns at the store. I have disputed all my credit card charges with Walmart as a result. The rack is flimsy unstable and lousy. Just put a few garments and four poles broke from the base. I am so very disappointed took it back to Walmart at 630 Collins Hill Rd Lawrenceville Ga 30043 and they did not accept a refund because it was broken and past 90 days. It really pissed me off watching people leaving the store. I was sitting on a bench observing and they only checked receipts on white customers. Also I watched the assisted checkout bypassing the scanner on items for certain people. Maybe it's reparations? I'm sure if they looked at security footage they would see it. I'm being generous to give this place a 2. Where do I begin? It's 40 degrees outside and these people have the AC going. It's colder in the store than outside. The lock on the men's bathroom stall has been broken for over 6 months. People are walking in on you as do number two. Most of the time the carts are being left outside and a lot of them are in disrepair. The shelves are like Old Mother Hubbard's Cupboard... they're bare! There was this small Hispanic girl working in the clothing department. I said, "excuse me, could you help me" and she acts like you assaulted her. She's been there for years and is the most unfriendly witch in the retail industry. I hate to ask her anything. Empty shelves, cold store during the winter, unfriendly workers, and the Direct TV people are always wanting to "ask you a quick question." Shop elsewhere. read more

One if the worse Wal-Mart I've ever been to. One fourth of the store had nothing. Like they cowering for something and all empty shelves. No one was stocking anything. The things unusually want and lol for were not there. I know every store is different I can say, not for me. I haven't been to this particular Wal-Mart in years. I Just had a completely awful experience here today and boy, was she EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She raised her voice at me when I tried to explain that the pictures were being used for educational purposes at my school. The lady "Loretta" (50+ year old Caucasian lady) who works at the photo lab department at this Walmart is under the impression she knows copyright laws, but on the contrary, does not. She is absolutely ignorant of the laws, so I have no idea why she would be in that department. The Story: So I am working on a class project for my university, we are required to do a presentation in front of our classes on brands. I came here to print out some logos for that class project and Loretta threw them in the trash, yelled at me and would not even let me checkout the other items that I wanted to pay for. " Under the U.S. Code Title 17 Copyright law, § 107 · Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use: " The fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. " This allows use for: class assignments, curriculum materials, student portfolios, etc... I left the store and felt completely insulted. Our project is due tomorrow, and I have everything completed, except for the images required. I have not had major issues going inside the store other than they are usually out of a lot of things BUT the grocery pickup here has to be the worst I have ever experienced!! You check in like you're supposed to and get there and note your parking spot and notice at least 10-15 other cars already waiting and absolutely NO activity at all! No one is bringing out anyone's groceries. Customers are angry and my husband had to go inside the store to get a manager to even get anything brought out! I have given this store multiple chances but that was the absolute last one! And on top of that no one answers the phone on any number you call, so you can't even speak to management to get any assistance. Do yourself a favor and find another Walmart! read more

But something I bought definitely alarmed me, very good possibility that we have a ice cream licking copycat tampering with food right here in Lawrenceville. I bought an ice cream at this Walmart and it was literally as pictured when I got home and opened it. The container even appeared to be sealed when I bought it last night, I saw what had happened to the contents, honestly, I just got disgusted and threw it away. This Walmart is horrible. It's down in a hole near GGC and Kohl's. It's in a bad area. I don't trust leaving my car in this parking lot while I'm in the store. I try not to come at night because there are so many crazy people here. The associates act like they don't care. The merchandising team completely sucks. There has been numerous times where they are out of stock on common items, Coke/Pepsi 2 liters, French Fries, Ice Cream, Cheese, Etc. The shelves are never fully stocked. I usually drive the extra distance to the Walmart on Lawrenceville Suwanee across the bridge. That Walmart is a 5 Star. It's always clean and stocked. This Walmart Location is dirty, never fully stocked and not safe. read more

Who doesn't love Walmart?! I love the fact that Walmart is open 24/8! Yes, 8! All day, err day! Even on Christmas, they're still open. They just recently added in a new system for you to scan while shopping. It's right at the front as soon as you walk in. I honestly think it's really helpful if you either do price check, or items have no price but a bar code, or simply if you're on a budget and want to know the total before hand. The last time I was at this Walmart a couple of days ago, I was greeted to a random duffle bag with someone's shoes just sitting in the middle of the parking lot. Uh....should I be calling for the bomb squad while I go in for my soap or what? That's the randomness of this Walmart, but fortunately that's where the weirdness ended for me. I had the good fortune to not experience the problems that many have complained about here, which doesn't mean they don't exist. Just that I got lucky with not terrible customer service. Service on a weekday evening was pretty fast for me, as in less than 10 minutes walking from my car and getting back to my car fast, with soap in hand...and the duffle bag and shoes were gone! As always, huge parking lot, Red box kiosks inside, Subway on the inside, as well as walmart's own hot meals to go section (i.e. deli), and hit or miss customer service. While i've definitely had better customer service, i've for sure had worse, which is why this is an OK location for me. read more

Great Walmart tucked into a plaza down the road from Georgia Gwinnett college. This Walmart has all things you'd expect from Walmart and it's 24 hours to boot. This Walmart is always clean, the staff has always been helpful and polite and the Walmart rarely has an item I'm looking for out of stock in addition to maintaining a variety of brands of the products I purchase. A Wal-Mart like any other Wal-Mart! Closer to me, convenient, open 24/7, and very very clean! Always fully stocked. read more

The pharmacy at this location is absolutely horrible!!! I requested a medicine that was guaranteed to be ready in 5 days max , i was understanding due to the fact i didnt need a refill for another 6 days. One day 5 i called and was told the prescription was ready to be FILLED. I drove 30 minutes there just to be tild the medicine was on back order and the last of it was just given to another customer. This location gets 3stars for their available products. When I cant find the things I need at the Lville Hwy store, I come here. Walmart has made leaps and bounds of improvement with their in store pick up items. Instead of waiting in the back, you can check in online or at a kiosk at the front of the store. some locations also have outside pick up where you can wait in your car. The pharmacy lunch is inconvenient when needing to pick up prescriptions around lunch time. Unfortunately since there is only ONE pharmacist on duty, it has to close while he's on lunch no matter how many employees are back there. This location has alot of sketchy ppl hanging out and lots of beggars. read more

Shame on me for giving this Walmart additional tries. They don't offer you the ability to reject your substitutions, they simply substitute and your stuck with it. They won't accept the item back when you pick up, they tell you to start a refund at customer service. They have cancelled my order twice and yesterday we never got a notification that our order was ready for pick up. We called 4 hours after our pick up time and was told that the system shut down and we will need to pick up tomorrow. Went today to pick up and was told that those orders were returned to the shelves and we will receive a refund. No notification. Nothing regarding information about our pick up order. What a waste of time. A little communication goes along way, but this store lacks professionalism. At the time of this review, we have still not received our refund nor a notification stating the incident that transcribed that warrants our refund. The app still shows our order is ready for pick up. :/. read more

Goodness! Anytime in the daytime is a bad day. First you have to fight for parking and possibly have to walk a quarter of a mile to the store. Once you get all of the items you want, you have to pick a full line to get into to check out. Out of possibly 13 or 14 cashier checkouts they normally have 5 opened. What in the world is management thinking? If you need help finding something most of the workers doesn't speak a word of English, at night anyways. Yay! I have another reason to hate Walmart. This afternoon I uploaded some pictures on to the website to have them printed. They were random, run-of-the-mill pictures of mermaids that I intended to frame and hang in my bathroom. Well THANK GOODNESS I did not pay online, because I left WITHOUT my pictures. When I went to the photo desk, there was no one there. Looked around. No one at the electronics desk either. I stood watch while hubby tracked someone down to help me out. Ten minutes later, an employee comes to the desk and asks my name. He finds my order (4 pictures) and hesitates to hand them to me. Whoever printed them wrote a note on the envelope that I needed to fill out a "Copyright Permission Form". According to this form, Walmart employees (photo professionals or not) get to decide if a photo looks to be "professional" or "studio quality." So because a Walmart employee deemed my Googled stock photos too "good looking", I wasted a trip here and left empty-handed. And for those of you wondering, no. I did not go off on the guy who delivered the bad news. He's not the idiot wrote that scribble on my photo envelope. Never again will I try to get photos done here. read more

Ok, so I hate Wal-Mart anyhow. If you want to know why just google "Walmart The High Cost of Low Prices" and you will see why. Thus, I have only been a couple of times in the past 2 years and only when I was out of options and had to have something they carried immediately. But even setting all of that aside, this is the worst walmart I have ever been in. The clientele is terrible at this one. The bathrooms are always filthy. The aisles are filthy because people take product off the shelves and leave them all in the aisles. They bust open food and drink products so there are those black marks all up and down the aisles. Totally filthy. Babies always crying and yelling and screaming due to very poor parenting by the clientele etc... The only positive, and believe me this speaks nothing good about walmart, is that there is a good subway sandwich location in here. I usually make it a point to never go any further into this store than the subway in the front since noticing how filthy it is. I hope Sam Walton is turning over in his grave. Remember when they were a true "Made In America" company. Now their slogan should be "Made with Slave Labor in Asian and Third World Countries". I shop at Walmart stores regularly...but this location needs someone who cares! There is ALWAYS carts all over the parking lot- most other locations, they are picked up by employees - not here. The store is dirty. Bathroom, will not mention. Check the dates because twice I have bought something out of date. This store needs to start at the top and get people who give a rats patuttie. Because there is a significant difference from this store and others just a few miles away. But leaving carts all over the parking lot- is their way of saying " we don't care about you or damage to your car". That's pure laziness! Oh and if it looks like it may storm or get windy- get one of the employees standing around talking to each other out to pick up carts BEFORE having them roll all over!
