Their service has gone way down. I've always loved shopping at Costco rather than Sam's Club because of the service level but I would rather go to Sam's now and do Scan and Go. Cashiers and baggers started throwing my food in the cart. I pay good amount of money for my food and i don't want my fruits to get bruised or packages to open. my eggs have broken while they were putting them in my cart. These people in the electric department are so lazy. they just stand there and when asked to help, they are so reluctant. I literally asked about the product and he basically told me I could just order online rather than buying at the store. he just didn't want to do any work. There are some nice staff too but a lot of them just look like they don't want to be there and don't want to work. read more

Note: this review is more about logistics and the setup/layout of the Costco. Nothing to do with the staff who was extremely helpful and nice. This isn't one of my favorite Costco locations in terms of logistics. The parking lot layout is very tight and the line to wait for the gas pumps is very small for such a high traffic location. The self checkout is on the far right of the checkout lines instead of the left at other locations. This is to help prevent the line from flooding into the aisles but causes major backup with limited space to wait. Overall, it's like any other Costco inside but the layout of certain spaces isn't my personal favorite and it feels very congested. read more

Large Costco in Duluth close to the highway with easy parking access.  I visited just before the New Year on a weekday and it was crowded but I was in and out in no time, thanks to the easy layout and self checkout system. They had an employee assisting with transactions at self checkout which made each transaction go quickly.  There were also two lines to exit the store although most people gravitated towards the longest. Keep your eyes open and don't follow the crowd because you may not need to wait in a line. I purchased a large bag of ceaser salad kit $8.99, everything was included. Salad was fresh and croutons were tasty. Located in fridge section close to bakery. Dungeness crabs (4) $22.38 and lobster tails (6) $41.73. Portions were large and meaty. You can find these items all year. I experienced excellent service and purchased all items on my list. read more

I visited the Costco in Gwinnett County today. This store is very similar to all the other locations in that is extremely busy. It always takes a while for you to park so patience is a virtue. If your looking for bulk items of any kind, chances are you'll find it at Costco. From toiletries to medicine, to furniture, to home entertainment, to groceries and even auto needs such as tires and car batteries, they got it. I'd definitely recommend this location to my family and friends. It was the bulk items for me. read more

I've generally had positive experiences at Costco, which is why this visit was disappointing. We were standing behind another customer at the front desk, waiting patiently for our turn to ask a question. The employee named Lou was assisting that customer at the time. Without listening to us or allowing us to explain, he abruptly told us to move and stand in a different line. From what we could see, there were no clearly formed or marked lines at that moment. When we tried to politely explain that we were waiting to inquire about something, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. The interaction made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. This was the first time we've had such an experience at Costco. I hope management reviews this situation and reminds staff to communicate respectfully and courteously with all customers. read more

I've lived in Metro Atlanta for 25 years and the vast majority of that time, we've been Costco members. This is our neighborhood store and we used to enjoy shopping there. In fact, we even looked forward to it. Well, it's not enjoyable anymore. If it were not for cheap gas and my lovely first lady, I would've been gone. Sam's IMO doesn't have the same quality but the experience is less painful, the app is better (it allows you to scan your items and bypass the lines). And the parking lot is much better organized. The rotisserie counter has been out of order for months and although the management said it would reopen two weeks ago, it hasn't! Maybe it's not as important because our area isn't perceived as affluent as Perimeter, Brookhaven or Alpharetta! Who knows but I avoid this place unless I absolutely have to go. Kids are also out of control. I was hit (literally) by 4 shopping carts. Three by children using them as scooters and the fourth time by a lady more interested in her cell phone than shopping. These are just the tip of the iceberg. I've had many more awful experiences including a twenty something guy wanting to have a standoff in the parking lot that wouldn't let me pass just to get to the gas pump. I'm fed up read more

Across the board, they are very strict with ensuring members only are allowed into the facility. They have scanners as well as staff to double check cards/receipts on the way in and out. We arrived on a Saturday to find the parking lot at almost full capacity. While checking items off of my grocery list, I was able to indulge in all their fun samples including drinks, chips, dips, and more. The staff were friendly even though it was a busy day. Only suggestion would be descriptions on the aisles to take the hassle of having to go down each one. Otherwise, I will certainly be back! read more

This is a rating of the $10 roast beef sandwich only! I have seen the picture of this sandwich every visit but NEVER seen anyone order one. So yesterday I did! It takes awhile to make it! Probably about 8 minutes when most other items are ready. I was surprised to find this is a COLD sandwich! It is served cut in half. So you could share one easily. It has an Asian ginger sauce on the meat. Also roasted tomatos, cold. The taste isnt bad, but nothing to rave about either. At $10 a pop it seems very out of place when most are eating $1.50 hot dogs that also include a drink and this of course does not. I know the hot dog is a loss leader, but still those not eating the hot dog have $1.99 pizza. So now I can quit wondering what this is like! Just spoke with manager Chad this morning at the front entrance. He stated that my certified Emotional Support Dog is not allowed. I told him, I come here 1-2 a WEEK with her for the last 3 YEARS and no one at the door has ever addressed my support dog as a problem. Chad stated the policy has been so for 5+ YEARS... He states service dogs we have no problem with. I asked, WHY do you have a problem with my support dog? She's tethered to my body. He has no answer. Inconsistency in member service. Chad claims he's been at this location for 2.5 years, in my 10 YEARS of coming to this location for both my business and personal needs, I haven't once seen him. I'm assuming Costco is making their management more visible lately, to harrass their members. Because that's all it is, a form of harassment. My dog nor I bother NOT A SOUL I'm 3 years of attendence. Never buy any kind of large appliance from Costco they DO NOT stand behind the products they sale....We have made the mistake twice now will never buy again. Latest is a LG washing machine. it says on the machine comes with 10 yr warranty. this is not true. within 1.5 years washing machine stopped working. Costco contacted the local LG dealer and they came out and replaced a bad part. then 4 months later the part goes bad again. now Costco says we are 2 months out of the 2 year warranty and Lg only covers 90 days and its been 100 days.. 1st purchase was 2 Lennox air conditioner units Costco has special through Cool Air. I am now being told after 6 years and (calling another specialist) of freezing up coils that one of the units was put in knowing the King Valve had a leak. They put the top on so tight knowing it would buy us a few years before the unit just would freeze up and adding more coolant would fix.. DO NOT BUY from COSTCO read more

Terrible store, every employee inside was incredibly rude beyond the nice people selling membership. canceled my membership the same day I got it. Again tried the store just to go to the food court and was turned away because Costco no longer lets you go to the food court without a membership, which I dont mind at all, policy is policy it's how I was treated and all but called an idiot by the individual working the exit side of the store. I've never been a fan of trying to find good parking at Costco. I can always feel my blood pressure rising as I slowly creep thru large waves of pedestrians often going at a sloth's pace, so I'm glad we took an Uber to this one. Pandemic or not, it's always packed. I'm glad Georgia has more than one Costco, unlike Maui though, as it was slightly less packed than I'm used to. Upon entry, it looked about the same, although the tire center is located on the opposite side of what I'm used to. Of course, I couldn't find my regional home favorites like kalua pig or lau lau in the freezer section, nor could I find locally made Portuguese sausage (linguiça) in the fridge section. However, this Costco is still great in a lot of ways. I've noticed Costco has been doing excellent in terms of adding in healthier food options the past few years, including a lot of low carb and keto alternatives. If you ever see the Keto Almond Bites in the snack section, I highly recommend them, whether you're low carbing it or not! Highly addicting, but no guilt like regular cake or cookies. I tried their brand of almond milk this time around too. I normally get the vanilla Almond Breeze, but I wanted something completely unflavored as a milk substitute. If you get it, just remember to shake it up before using it, as it was completely watery the first time I poured it. Another item I tried finally was the pack of egg wraps they had. It's made with cauliflower and egg, so it's completely carb free. However, after several uses it became too eggy for me, especially if you're trying to do a breakfast burrito with extra eggs in the mix. It's not bad, but definitely not an everyday item for me. It says you can freeze them though. If not, it's recommended you use them in a week's time. There were tons of other good items here. They have a big pack of saline nasal spray - if you get a dry nose like me, keto snack mixes with cheese puffs (trying that next time), and some of my other favorites including Aussie bites and Coconut Clusters. They even had mac nuts, although not from Hawaii, but I'd be interested to try them. Unfortunately, the food court menu was limited to three items due to the virus, so I couldn't really compare it to Maui's location. Although, it was interesting to see an indoor one again. Maui used to have an indoor food court, then later moved it outside. I always preferred the set up of our indoor one though. Overall, it was cool to see another Costco outside of Maui. I never went to any in Chicago as I had no car and was only living in a dorm, so I'm glad to be able to stock up on some goodies and essentials again. read more

I've come here a few times while I was in the area to fill up my gas tank with Kirkland Signature brand gasoline. I can't complain about the gas from Costco, or any Costco throughout the nation, for that matter. I've never had any issues with the gas negatively affecting my cars, and the gasoline is always less expensive than just about all other gas stations, again, anywhere and everywhere I've traveled. This Costco gas station wasn't built with enough space for the queues of cars waiting to get to the pumps, and it's not unusual to sometimes see cars lined up on the street just to get into the parking lot and then the pump queues. This is just one of the reasons why it sometimes takes a long time to fill up your tank. Another reason is because some customers don't like to or don't know how to parallel park to park at the pumps. This is important for cutting down on wait times because of this: Costco has multiple pumps in each line, and sometimes customers waiting for pumps will wait until all of the cars directly ahead of them at the pumps pull away before they themselves pull up to the pump. Ugh! This is frustrating! This Costco even has red and green light icons that let the next people in line know which pump is ready to be used. Thankfully, an employee is always around for customers needing assistance to help them immediately; otherwise, who knows how long waiting customers could tie up the queues. Costco has less expensive and reliable gasoline, but you may have to wait a while to get to the pumps. read more

Ordered 9 grand worth of appliances in a package a month ago. First my package got lost, then Costco pushed me back and forth with the supplier/distributor (another company outside of Costco). Finally they found my order and shipped it. Then, nearly a month after my order, the delivery team shows up and "forgot" my stove and fridge. Now I am trying to get ahold of someone in customer service so they can somehow track down my lost fridge/stove. This location has a more diverse selection of products than some other locations I've been to. Customer service moves quickly and smoothly, checkout is efficiently run even when it's super busy. Getting tires rotated somehow takes a lot longer than it really should, but it's free if you buy tires from Costco. I've noticed the workers look worn out sometimes but they're always polite and helpful. All in all, this is a staple for our shopping for household things and groceries in bulk. read more

The main store is stellar, however, when you use their tire store, the service is less than subpar. How can this enormous store offer service until 08:30 at night, but the staff will not take tire repairs or appointments after 06:30 PM? Overall, I really like that Costco's does have a large variety of items and the customer support is very good. If you have kids, they will love Costco's because they have lots of free samples, and they are good samples too. I am a member of Sam's Club and Costco's and even though my plan was just to end my Sam's Club membership and stick with Costco's I decided to renew it. Costco's has a lot of really good deals and items you will not find at Sam's, plus the gas prices here are much less. However, diapers, chips, baby wipes, and some of the produces do cost more at Costco's. My biggest complaint with Costco's is their lines are ridiculously long regardless if you are going through a cash-register or the checkout line. Sam's Club has a phone app that allows customers to scan the UPC as they put the item into their cart and just past the checkout line and at the door they just scan your phone and the digital receipt is sent to your phone and kept online for tax purposes. Costco's should seriously do this as it would keep these lines down. As an Executive Member paying $120 a year for a membership, we should not have to wait 20 minutes to checkout. Costco's has a great snack area that sell excellent salads for just $4 and they offer hotdogs with a drink for $1.50 and other snacks as well. My kids and I enjoy eating hereafter we shop. food court manager Andy is terrible. i ordered a whole pizza, 3 hotdogs with drinks, and a chicken bake on the kiosk with apple pay and waited and held my receipt at the counter waiting for my food for 30 minutes on my lunch break. someone that ordered a similar order to mine over 10 minutes after me took my order and when i asked food court manager Andy about it he told me that a lady showed him the same receipt and took the food. it was clearly his fault because he didn't check what number she had and released it. he asked to see my receipt to see what card was used but the numbers obviously didn't match because apple encrypts the card number on the receipt. my bank account showed the same amount of money at the same time that the receipt was printed but food court manager Andy denied me and wouldn't give me my food. i had to wait in another line to talk to the manager of the store for him to talk to food court manager Andy to finally give me my food after over 45 minutes of waiting. my order number was 83 and people with order number 145 was getting their food when i finally did. read more

My husband and I visited this Costco and it was a whole journey that one could never prepare for. First and foremost, if you're going to shop on the weekends, be prepared to spend half of your visit looking for a parking space. There was actually a line out into street traffic just to enter the parking lot. We drove around and around, finally after twenty minutes we got one. Once we got inside the store it was so crowded we could barely move around, without getting bumped or ran over by rude people with their shopping carts. Meat department and baked goods were great as usual, but it was just too too crowded. It made our experience terrible. I will go to a different location next trip. read more

I know that I can get a cheap bite to eat when I need it. And, on one stormy night, while stuck in the store, I did just that. However, I recall the girl telling me we are out of sauerkraut. Woman had electronic jumper in truck but was too short to raise hood and doubted she had the strength even if she was tall enough. Went back to Cosco and asked for assistance to open the hood so she could attach jumper device and was told no one could help help her, even people from tire department said the same thing. Fortunately a male passerby did open the hood and used her jumper device to start the truck. Shame on Costco for refusing to assist an elderly lady! I decided to get a Costco membership. Now I'm part of the cult. Costco offers 2 memberships: regular and executive. If you see yourself spending a ton of your hard earned cash for bulk items, the executive membership is the way to go. Speaking of Bulk Items, this is the type of stuff you'll find in Costco. Everything is jumbo sized. You can find some ridiculous deals on certain items. Some items however, aren't priced differently compared to other retailers. So you gotta really check. Nevertheless, you can find some great mid-tier items for reasonable prices. The warehouse is hard to navigate. They have no labels on what isle carry what. So you have to wander around to look for stuff. That's a typical trick for stores to get people to buy more stuff. It's great to look around, but if you know what you want and is sticking to a list, it's frustrating. This location is busy. A lot of Costco cultist come here to buy 300 eggs, 10 rotisserie chickens, etc. I'm amazed at some of the crap people buy. They must have a huge family or a restaurant. This Costco, like the rest, has their epic food court. Yes, the hotdogs are still $1.50--the best deal in the world. They lose money on it and don't care. They have 100+million members paying $60 every year. They can afford it. Anyway, this Costco is same as any other Costco you've been to. This is your quick guide to find whatever in Costco. If you think of a square, i'll be breaking it down into 4 sections. If you think of a square: Left, Back (as in furthest away), Right, and Center. The front side (the entrance/exit) is pretty much the cafeteria along with cash registers. From the perspective of walking in the main entrance: - Right in front of you you'll find the electronics section. - On the left next to the wall, glasses/eye/hearing station to satisfy all those needs. - Left side all the way to the back of the warehouse are your equipment/kitchen tools, etc. Basically, anything that you're looking for that is electronic based, or kitchen gadgets/cups, or office related things are all there. - Left and Back side: All your perishables, basically foods. Meats, bakery, cakes, desserts, dairy, etc. - Back right: You have your drinks and your plates and beers along with your toilet paper and paper towels. Then walking up, you'll get to the freezers with all the frozen foods. - Right side: From the back and walking towards the front of the warehouse, you basically get all your dried goods. Canned goods/coffee/etc. - Last 3 rows or so on the right side: You get your cleaning supplies/toilet cleaners/dishwasher detergent along with washing machine detergent. - The front right side, you'll get basically the pharmacy and all of your medical stuff. This is where you'll get all your personal hygiene goods along with all the diapers. - The center is huge, and it consists of (from front to back): snacks, furniture, clothes, books, garden/outdoors items, and ending with wines before getting towards the back which houses the cheeses/deli meats. Lastly, the tips that you want to learn about Costco (I don't know if they've since updated this when I saw it) in pricing: - Regular pricing for items end in ".99"; - Marked down prices end in ".97"; - Weird prices that end in ".79", ".49", or ".89" are special deals that Costco has with the manufacturer; - An asterisk (*) next to a price means that the item won't be reordered; and, - ".88" or ".00" endings in pricing means manager are trying to get rid of the product. Anyways, have fun! Hopefully my review has helped you find your place in the hectic place of Costco. I would recommend not to go on a weekend because it's a mad house. Costco in itself is a great place. Buying bulk toilet paper and paper towels is so much cheaper than other places. What I really love about Costco is the food court. Now? Meh. How could your awesome tasty cheesy pizza fail? On Friday 5/13/22 and got a slice of cheese. The crust is different. Almost like microwave pizza. Soft but not chewy like before. Undercooked was more like it. Taste was bad. Don't know if it was cooked wrong or a new recipe. Will have to try it next time. Also to the cashier that took the order and gave the pizza. I live between Mall of Ga Costco and Venture Dr Costco so I periodically visit them both. But for some reason, the vibe and attitude toward customers are very different between the two. Mall of Ga workers are very friendly and helpful, as for Venture Dr, they are very unfriendly, sometimes flat out rude! It wasn't just few incidents and wasn't just me. I heard the same from several friends and family members of mine. I hope manager of Venture Dr Costco in Duluth will pay more attentions to their customers and improve their services. read more

I like Costco but there are less Costco than Sam's Club. Costco is always packed. The lines for the gas station is always backed up. Costco has more healthier options than Sam's Club, to me. Prices are similar for same items. The Duluth location has more Asian friendly products. What impressed me most is how fast the checkout lanes were, especially at self check. Come here like o every other month....i always get a Ton of snacks..the quanity for the price is what keeps me coming back..kids are on summer break and they are GREEDY GREMLINS!...purchased some nice chops/slabs of ribs for the 4th.
