In my, opinion, this lack of transparency can pressure customers into accepting offers without understanding the potential resale value of their items. A business that buys secondhand goods should be upfront about its pricing methodology and how offers are calulated. Being open about expected resale prices and payout percentages would help build trust and allow customers to decide whether selling items is worthwhile. I left feeling that the process was unnecessarily secretive and not as customer focused as it could be.
