Instead of just answering yes or no, she replied with attitude and said, "The world ain't going to treat her like you do, and she ain't going to die if you take the candy from her." Then after I finally took the candy from my fussy grandbaby, she picked up the handheld scanner attached to the register anyway. The whole interaction was rude and unnecessary. The one thing that I enjoy about this store is their displays and their organization. The racks are always neat and organized and the girls do a great job of staging the items. Like colors are always together so that you can easily coordinate and pull that outfit together. This store carries two sections, misses and plus so that it easy to find your ideal size. They also carry bags, jewelry, hats and gloves, undergarments and shoes. If you carry extra weight, this place is ideal because they carry figure flattering tunics, dresses and covers. The covers are great for layering and do not add bulk, they come in sleeveless, short sleeves and long sleeves. Today, I scored a maxi length cover that can be worn with a dress, leggings or jeans. I love pieces that can be styled in various ways. I also purchased a red tunic that will be great for the holidays. It is still relatively warm so adding light layers is a nice way to transition into fall. If you like light weight denim pieces, ( in rayon and tencel), they had those items available as well in prints and solids. I came to DSW just looking to see what they had in the way of flip flops. I know ... winter is the wrong time of year to be looking for them. But I found a pair that I liked for under $40. This was a decent price, but I can wait until they go on sale, especially since it's currently very cold outside and the weather isn't so good. DSW carries a lot of name brand nice quality shoes for everyone. However, the majority of the shoe selections are for women. Most of the shoes stocked in the store look like they are priced reasonably, about the same or less than the prices found in most department/retail stores. Shoes on display have nearby inventory; customers can find the size they need and try them on. At the rear of the sales floor is the clearance section where discontinued shoes or shoes with low/no inventory are grouped by gender and sizes. Different colored labels on the shoe boxes let customers know how much additional discount they can get. In addition to shoes, I saw lots of socks and some purses/bags. The issues that I saw was that employees were mostly in the front of the store at the registers, and the lack of price labels on shoe boxes. I didn't see any employees walking around asking customers if they needed any assistance. Also, I don't recall any price labels on boxes of the regular priced shoes. I had to look at the price sign next to the display shoe to find out the actual price. Other than those issues everything else was good.
