The designs are unique, the fabrics are beautiful and high quality, and every collection has the perfect blend of trendy, boho, and romantic style. It's one of those rare places where you always discover something special. What truly makes this location exceptional is Angela at the Mall of Georgia store. She is an absolute gem! She is incredibly patient, genuinely friendly, charming, and always willing to help without ever making you feel rushed. I wasn't familiar with this fashion brand before I came here to the Mall of Georgia's location. I would describe their style as vintage glamours with a touch of Victorian. Their color palette is mostly mauve and camel. There is a slight hit of bohemian to their styling with long flowing skirts with lace tops. Their jewelry and accessories are really nice. They incorporate lots of natural stone along with rose and gold tone into the element. Most of the items were priced from $12.95 on up to about $39.95. Most of their clothing are mid range prices ranging from about $20-$50. They seem to be nice quality fabrics and well made. When I was here I was greeted by two ladies at the door that welcomed me to the store and immediately gave me the 411 on all the specials that was going on in the store. Wow! Such a great experience! After traveling in different cities and states Mall of Georgia is my absolute favorite Altar'd State to shop at. This store seems to have such high standards and friendly staff compared to the past few locations I have visited. Although the store seems to visibly be a little dated than other locations, the friendly staff makes it all worth it. I love coming into the store and the employees making genuine and friendly conversations. The staff is always dressed in such cute and trendy styles! I love how the girls are able to express their individual stlye rather than all wearing the same rendition of the same outfit. While I was in there this past visit, one of the sweet girls working was going above and beyond helping a customer who was visibly disabled. The worker was being so kind and describing the sweater in detail and even offering pieces that would work well with it. Although I cannot speak for that customer, it was so nice seeing how accommodating the staff was. Although I mostly just shop for my granddaughter, my favorite part about shopping this location is how they always style my clothes into outfits before I go into the fitting room. So fun to play dress up! I often times end up trying on clothes I would never pick out for myself but end up loving. I wish all locations would do this! However, after speaking to a worker in the fitting room, I found out some news about the company. After speaking with some lady friends, this does seem like common knowledge, but Altar'd State is a religious company. And although that is wonderful and I am so happy for all the good they are doing, it does concern me that they may not be as caught up into the times. My daughter was looking for rainbow items to go with all the smilies and the oh-so-sweet girl working said they do not carry rainbow anything aside from a lipgloss and a few pairs of rainbow SHAPED earring. But with no actual rainbow colors. It seems so silly but I cannot help but to assume these two things are correlated. The worker was so sweet and did her best to find anything she could. However, it seemed she shared the same opinion about the company perhaps being a little more accepting. If only I had all the money in the world, I would buy this whole store and take the workers with me!! read more

They have some super cute clothing. But, the past two times, I have been in the store for at least 20 minutes, and I wasn't able to get one store employee to help me. The first time there were 2-3 other couples in there so it wasn't super busy, but when I went to try to find someone, there were about 3 girls behind the counter all talking. The second time was two weekends ago, and again nobody greeted us, tried to see if we needed anything, etc. we were in there for over 20 minutes as well. I would've loved to try on a lot of things but nobody asked if we needed any help, and there were multiple things that I couldn't reach or see any of my size and would've liked to see if there were some in the back. I have worked in retail before, and even tho it was with a different company, the customer service I have gotten would've have slid with my previous company and my previous boss. read more
