Visited H Mart located at 2700 Lawrenceville Suwannee This grocery store offers an array of all types of specialty foods. Anything you can think of they sale it. The ambience was like a typical grocery store. People shipping and moving about the isles. If you're going to make a special dish I'm positive this store will have all the ingredients for your dish. My overall experience was great.

Very cozy place with authentic Korean food. Everything is fresh and hearty. We just planned to grab a quick bite -- but ended up feeling like we had a full homemade meal. Nice atmosphere and quick service. Highly recommended for anyone nearby!

This location of HMart has a Tous Les Jours attached and an extensive food court that has Korean and Vietnamese offerings. I was so happy to find that Soon's Kitchen was open when we visited on a weekday, but other stalls were closed so YMMV. The Galbitang (short rib soup) I had was perfect for a rainy day. Accompanied by free sides of kimchi, fish cake, and bean sprouts, it was filling and affordable. At Tous Les Jours I chose a strawberry croissant and the attendant (seeing that I had my hands full) rushed over to help me put it safely in a container. Excellent service, and I was able to take it safely home to enjoy. :) The food court is on the other side of the store, so if you're planning to have dessert you might want to stop in first and take it with you. Tous Les Jours has minimal seating, but it is clean and well-lit. Will definitely stop by again for lunch! I found the prices at this HMArt were a little higher than the Duluth location, so keep that in mind for shopping.

Five starts just because they have my favorite ice cream!!! I had to come back to get another box because we ate them all. You can never go wrong with sweet brown sugar boba anything . I also saw that they have a huge variety of frozen rice balls. I'm sure I can make them myself but these look really good too

Really starting to like this location for me. Closer, and the fish dept gets good deals that I pounce on when I can. Like most Asian markets you walk in to produce an easier way around the back to the meats and seafood which is mostly what I go for... Produce and seafood. Was looking for pork belly and some kind of a fish on sale and found both so I got the pork belly then was happy to see lobster was on sale from $20 a pound to 8.99 a pound ! That a lot of them most were a pound and a half not very big but lobster Thermador came to mine so I grabbed a few and picked up some head on shrimp and seaweed while I was there all before they continue to keep going up.. Produce is always low compared to Kroger or Publix but it's creeping up as all foods are going up but the layout is good. I've grab some great whole red snapper here and now lobster crab shrimp is always a bargain so my go to place that's closest. Assi plaza Is one more exit down and does have a larger produce area so I generally go to both and shop between the two to get what I need but was pleased here and will be coming back. Highly recommend

Love going here. Anytime I'm in Suwannee I always stop by to pickup a few things. I live about an hour away, otherwise I'd be here weekly! The store carries a huge variety of products and the prices are very reasonable especially for imported products. I always stock up on ramen and red bean mochi when I am here! I tried their instant boba pack last time as well and it was not bad!

This store wasn't as big as some of the others. I was hoping to pick up some kimbop for my drive home. I didn't see any at this location. I also didn't realize how many Hmarts there are in Atlanta. I was supposed to meet my cousin there and turns out I went to a different location. But no biggie. I did purchase some veggies and snacks here. Got in my car and drove 14 minutes to the Super Hmart.

Beautiful Swiss chard that melts in your mouth!

COVID CHRONICLES: THE GREEN REPORT! The first thing I noticed when Covid hit was the lack of fresh greens in the market. It was challenging to find them beforehand but suddenly the hunt was even more difficult. Let's be clear, I prefer my southern greens in a bundle, bunch or bushel, NOT a bag. I don't' want a bag full of stems and I prefer large natural leaves. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to travel to this particular HMart to check out the options. While I have a location closer to my home, I need QUALITY. As soon as I walked into this market, I noticed the absence of any foul odors. Yes! As I moved about, I noticed that the store was clean and organized. Yes! Yes!. Finally, when I arrived at the produce department I saw a glorious display of fresh greens, parsley, kale, turnips, collards, Swiss chard, (reg and red), mature spinach, Asian greens, (the Choy family was well represented!). I stocked up on everything except collards because they really are more like the peasant green and they just bore me. They also take way too long to cook as opposed to turnip greens which were fork tender and very tasty within 15 minutes. I bought a lot of greens and could not get anything else in my fridge. So, the secret to buying a lot of greens and not letting them go bad is to prep most of them for smoothies or soup and cook the remaining sooner rather than later. If you are using them for smoothies, portion and freeze raw, for soups, you will want to blanch them or slightly cook them and then you can freeze them. BOOM! Ready in a minute and you have no excuse for not eating your vegetables. I can't tell you much about the entire store because I limited my visit to the produce department. However, on my next visit, I will definitely be checking out the fresh fish/seafood department.

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

As much as I love the vast selection of foods at the supermarket, there's been a number of things…read morethat have been turning me away in the past several years. Not at any other H-Marts, but at this Duluth location, things have just gone awry in the past few years. For one, they allow religious harassment at their door. I really don't appreciate being flagged down and chased by Bible "advocates" outside their door. I find that really intrusive, and bordering harassment. One time, this bawdy Korean lady chased me toward my car with this religious pamphlet...when I clearly told her "NO"...not interested. I mean, what more can I do or say without being chased like that??? So rude! I can't believe H-Mart is letting these folks harass their customers like this. Not all the people that shop at this mart is a Catholic, or Christian, or religious at all. Even if they are, they STILL may not wish to be harassed like this. For some folks, religion (or spirituality) is a personal thing. Religious harassment is so offputting...and inappropriate? I mean, this is a supermarket!!! It's just beyond the pale. This right here made me drop 2 stars off the bat! Then their weird food court hours. I mean, most food courts are up and running from 11 am on...but here, they start opening past 12 pm. I think on the day I was there, they were opening the food court closer to 12:30! That's just not acceptable. Lastly, I find their layout extremely awkward and uncomfortable to manuever around.
