OK, so I ordered 2 subs & a salad on line to not have to wait at the 5 pm slam fest that is the Publix Deli! Didn't see my sub, so I asked the folks for a status... not made! Myself & 1 other gentleman jumped the line & got ours made ASAP! Dude was out in 5 mins & mine still took 15 more. Here are pics of our meals AND the BOGO 4 boxes of Barilla pasta I got. ALL for under $40! Salad, 2 HUGE tender subs & 4 boxes of pasta. Oh, and this Publix is being renovated. The Deli is still a hot mess, even all dolled up & pretty! NO FLOW, NO ROOM, NO STAFF to get this deli moving faster. MUST GET THIS UNDER CONTROL ASAP!!! Staff super chill, patrons tonight were kind & funny. A good store with good people. Publix has this seasonal Turf 'n Surf deli sandwich that I believe consists of the following ingredients: London Broil Crispy Shrimp Romaine lettuce Horseradish cheese (yassss, never thought I would like this) Mayonnaise Spicey Mustard(?) When I say , it truly is!!! Unfortunately, most locations do not keep any available in their deli case. To say the least, this is one of the locations I went to with no avail..... I went to the deli at lunch time. I don't enjoy going to restaurants at lunch hour because everyone in line appears it's their first time ordering food. I went to the deli and ordered a sub. There was a line but not a long line. There was a 50s black female that made my sandwich. She didn't rush she took her time and the sandwich it looked like she was making it for her own child. Very bad selection. If you are wanting to make homemade lasagna for the evening, this is not the place for the ingredients. They do not carry ground Italian sausage and it took forever to find the ricotta. For someone that does a jar of Ragu and noodles, it might work. read more

I absolutely love the convenience of this location and this store as a brand! Publix is like the Chick-fil-a of grocery stores! Their customer service is exceptional! They have a great selection of products especially since my family is trying to eat healthier snd buy more environmentally friendly products! I typically go to this Publix for every Friday evening when I get off work. I arrived at 9 and they close at 10. The hot food was already put away, but associate Kara kindly asked me if I was hungry and that she can make me a sub. She made my sub and even went in the back to see if they had the specific type of meat I wanted. While another sales associate (tall, black man) told me that they are happy to make subs even if it's 10:00 during closing. They were both very kind and helpful, and are the reason why I will continue to shop at this particular Publix. Customer service here is amazing! read more

Everything is well organized here. I was looking for some Hickory Farm sausages and had to ask for help from one of the staff because I could not find it. I was taken to the right aisle but that particular sausages were sold out. No problem as I was told the new shipment will come in a day or two. I also bought me two books of Christmas stamps from the Publix cashier as the big Post Office at Boggs Road do not have any. I cannot imagine such a big government department will run out of stamps right after Thanksgiving holiday. Thank goodness for Publix and Kroger grocery stores that carry stamps so I don't have to make another wasted trip to the PO. Maybe that is why I am never a big fan of big government who do not operate efficiently. The deli has one of the best subs available. The person behind the counter is always very pleasant and nice. In fact, all the staff I encountered is always courteous and nice. Keep up the good job on providing us the fresh produce in vegetables and fruits. If you're taking the pandemic seriously, this isn't the Publix to go to. At least six customers maskless, completely ignored by employees. You could tell from the amount of people without masks and lax, accepting attitude of the employees that this is typical of this location. I asked the cashier if they still had a mask policy, and they said they did, but then basically made it sound like it was more of polite suggestion. Stay safe, everyone. read more

I really hate that this location does not sell sushi. I typically frequent this location on my way home from the gym and those are usually the times I am craving sushi. I usually try to avoid this Publix. Not because there's anything wrong with the store itself. You find the same floor design, sales, and customer service that you do in most stores. They're also usually well stocked, both in store, deli (often with better selections) and their pharmacy is quite helpful. I try to avoid this Publix because it's in a high traffic area, which is great for Publix, but bad for you. It's very easy to get into this Publix lot, which is the anchor store to a strip containing a few restaurants and other shops. The problem is if you come here after work or class...i.e. sometime around the 4 - 6 pm hours, just forget about getting out onto Lawrenceville-Suwanee road, despite the multiple exits that span three red lights. Traffic is usually wall to wall, making it very hard to exit, although you can exit via Duluth hwy and maneuver your way back onto Lawrenceville-suwanee if you need to. Again, not Publix's fault...it just makes me weary coming here. With all this foot traffic, you can imagine that at these times you're going to have lines within the store, be it check out, pharmacy, customer service or even their redbox. Publix staff does their best to keep up with the afternoon crunch, but sometimes it just isn't enough. Obviously if you love Publix and this is the closest one to you, well, their service and selection wont treat you wrong, but if you're like me, with two other Publix locations closer, and less jammed, well, you'll try to avoid this Publix too. read more

I've never had an issue with this Publix until today. I stopped by here today to get a prescription filled for my daughter who has pink eye and strep throat(BOO). While waiting for the prescription to be filled, I decided to go shopping and do some couponing. Everything was fine until I went to check out. I had met up with a gf who had checked out in a different lane. Apparently she had some issues with her coupons so the manager had a supervisor come over to check my coupons out. Long story short, they basically accused me of using copied coupons and wouldn't let me use my coupons. Copying coupons is illegal by the way! I tried to show them that the barcodes were all different in my printed coupons but both the supervisor and cash register lady basically disregarded what I tried to tell them. If I had made copies of my coupons, the barcode numbers WOULD NOT all be different. I will not be shopping at this Publix again. read more

Love Publix! I think they get a bad rep for being "expensive" but they have really great BOGO sales and on their meat as well. Their meat is also 10x better then any other grocery store I have been to in this area so I'll pay the little extra that it might be. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The people at the deli counter know me by name and we chat at they make me a delicious sub! The only reason I am giving this review a 2 Star is because the manager was helpful enough. I moved here from Florida about a month ago, about two weeks ago I came by to get some items and I talked a bit with the cashier. Everyone here has always been so nice and helpful And I was telling her we had just relocated here from South FL because of my husbands work. She then asked me what does he do and I told him he's currently working for the Gwinnett Police Department and she continued to make a comment about it. As if that career right now wasn't good enough because of everything that has happened with police officers. I then proceeded to tell her that he is ALSO in the military and that it was something he dreamed of doing. End of story Today I walk in again, this time trying to finally get my daughters and infant WIC benefits since I finally was able to get my WIC benefits transferred over. I have never ever used them here his way (in fl is completely dif) and I told her from the beginning "hey I have to warn you, I am paying with WIC and it is my first time doing it here".. and she stoped and said that all that wasn't WIC (I had carefully reviewed items and said it was) she later proceeded to return the items and start over. I apologized because again, it's my first time doing it here so I wasn't sure how things got done. She had to ask the manager to make a few over rights (one for cereal and one for the formula) and she began saying how she didn't feel comfortable doing it and that she felt like it was going to haunt her forever because "she doesn't like doing things they aren't allowed to". EVERYTHING she did was legal and allowed, i even had a prescription because here WIC works with gerber but in FL they work with enfamil and my daughter has a reflux condition which makes her have to drink enfamil AR. It was also written on the vouchers. I just have to say to you (I believe her name is Rosemary) you have NO idea what I go thru and how MUCH it truly bothers me that I can't afford my daughters formula on my own or that I wasn't able to breastfeed. Understand that not everyone with government benefits are there just to steal things or take advantage and not every police officer is going to be on the news. I had to put myself together in front of everyone so that I didn't start sobbing in front of my girls or in public but I couldn't help it when I got to the car. This is the WORST way anyone has ever made me feel EVER about having to get help. I am a PROUD wife of a US army and Police Officer that do things right and that dreams to keep the country what it is and make it better every day. We are who we are because of THEM, the good ones, the hard working ones and I won't stand to hear that basically I am "cheating" the system and that I don't deserve this. I am not sure if I'll ever come back to this Publix, I'm sure they don't need "my" money or troubles but in South FL it was a nice place to shop, I wish I could say the same here. read more

They have really good bogo deals and definitely good coupons but the non-sale price of products here tends to be much higher than Kroger or Walmart. The sandwiches in the deli section are very good and our priced comparable to other places. read more

I used to love Publix Subs, even with their own brand of deli meats and cheeses. For the last few years they had a problem storing sub rolls properly and they were always hard and stale. I've avoided buying Publix subs for a long time because of this but the other day I bought one and it was nasty. I don't think I ever will again. First, the Publix brand meats and cheeses have gone way down in quality. Second, the white bread sub roll is now an awful lot like super-cheap pillow foam covered in paper. I asked Rushit for the softest, freshest roll and with great sincerity he said he found one. It wasn't soft or fresh, and it wasn't a real bread roll. If you're desperate for a sub or some kind of deli sandwich, buy the Boarshead products, some real bread and fresh vegetable toppings, and make your own. Do not waste your money on a sub sandwich here. I also went to buy fried chicken tenders from the hot deli counter and they looked bad. The fried exterior on nearly every tender was damaged from over-handling. Entirely unappealing. read more

They go above and beyond to make sure everyone walks out with a smile and a promise to come back. All of the staff go out of their way to ensure the happiness of the customer. Yes, prices are a bit higher than most, but the BOGO sales weekly make up for it and you really get top-notch and 100% guaranteed satisfaction no matter your situation.
