This is a solid Aldi and now my wife's preferred location. Their selection is great, and the ease and simplicity of getting quality products here is noteworthy. Located close to the Mall of Georgia, there's plenty of parking and the service is friendly. That said, there aren't many workers around to help, which is one of the ways they keep prices low. Tip: Don't forget to bring a quarter for a shopping cart and reusable bags to carry your groceries. Once you become familiar with the Aldi process, you'll wonder why you didn't shop at Aldi sooner. Been shopping here for two years. Staffers here look overworked and stressed all the time. Usually one person on the register, while the other one is running around like crazy trying to stock shelves and clean up the shelves. Lines build up fast. It's very busy due to location. Definitely a no frills kind of place. You have to look for the good stuff. Grass fed meats are great. I only buy their organic produce, usually a hit or miss. They do carry a large variety of cheeses and good dairy products. They do have a whole aisle of seasonal stuff. Usually messy and picked over. On the whole, it's good for my organic needs, however, I feel bad for their employees who can't even enjoy working there. Now, Publix, every encounter with a staff member, begins with a smile and ask if you need any assistance. No matter what department they work, they are there to help. I arrived this morning when they opened, 9:00 AM- I paid my $.25 for my cart & was the 1st person inside! I stopped to get a poinsettia for my sister-in-law just inside the front door, by the time I turned around there were 10 people right behind me. Geez... Got some greeting cards, Christmas was $1.50 each & got some generic ones on sale for $.75 each. Got $3.75 wine- Winking Owl. Never tried, but friends say it's good. What else- oh I got this great meat for Stocking stuffers. Anyway, it's a good place! A LOT cheaper than even Walmart, but in the last 6 months the prices have gone up!! It's a quiet store, I don't remember hearing loud music playing or anyone being overly loud or obnoxious. This is located across from the Costco on Buford Drive, by Burlington & Bed Bath & Beyond. They are finally open! I was so excited when I found out that an Aldi's was coming to Buford. This Aldi is in a very good spot. I sure they will get lots of business being located near the mall of Georgia. They are located in the same lot as Burlington so there is plenty of parking. The store is new so it is nice and clean. Everything was easy to find. There were only a few things that I noticed was not stocked yet. Like some of the beer and wine products. Nice Selection of everything though. I did not notice too many employees. When I made it to the line it was so many people in line. But I didn't have to wait too long before another cashier came up to start ringing up people. Maybe about 10 mins. Overall I had a really good experience. I'm sure I will be going back a lot. read more

Though it closes earlier, it's the better and more affordable option to Kroger and Publix, which both of are both ultra-processed and usually unhealthy foods. ALDI provides a good balance of affordability, and quality products, highly recommend read more

The customer service really is sub par. They weren't nice or even try to ask for help nor provide any assistance to the customer. I wouldn't want to go back to the same place nor recommend them since they don't care to help the ppl that help pay their paychecks. read more

My first and last time at this location. My wife and I were shopping and got all of our items. We proceeded to get in line to checkout. We saw that there was a long line. It was only one checkout line open. We saw two other associates around the store while we were shopping. As we waited in line, we noticed the cashier was rushing some elderly customers through the checkout process. We noticed it but the people didn't say anything. As we approached the front of the line, we put our groceries on the belt. The cashier Brittany grab our groceries and slammed them on the cart beside. My wife asked her to please not do that to our groceries. We had eggs and fruits. We don't want our eggs to break and we don't want our fruits bruised. After we asked her not to do that, she walks away from the register. She got her coworker and says something to him and then he comes over and starts ringing us up. I asked him why did she leave and he didn't say anything. She proceeded to call other customers to another register and start ringing up other customers. I couldn't believe that she would get an attitude and walk away from customers like that. After the coworker rung up our groceries, the guy goes over to her. As we are leaving out, she returns to her original checkout line. Her behavior and attitude was awful. I would recommend that she not work in a customer facing position. I think her sensibilities and attitude is best served in the back away from customers. If you are not going to have patience, then you should not work in customer service. No one should be made to feel like they are a problem. read more
