Be aware of your costs when you check out. I went back for a refund of $1.75 for 2 items not ringing up properly. As this does not sound like a lot, if they continue over charging from time-to-time that money adds up!!! I don't think this is on purpose, just be aware. Also, as everywhere now, nobody on staff speaks. I got a 1/2 smile from 1 woman, but I initiated. She still didn't speak. The store Mgr here is great!! He's a very nice, funny & helpful man!!! I see him on weekends whenI shop for the week. I don't know his name. OK store, pretty stocked & they can't help how $$ items have gotten. But, if they would smile & provide shoppers with a good experience those costs probably wouldn't sting so much. Stephanie & Lisa didn't even greet me with a smile when I needed my reciept looked at. Stephanie was put out that I broke away to ask her to assist a nice man in line & rolled her eyes at me. This has become my new Kroger as it's the closest to my house. First -- I did not know Krogers now close at 11, which is disappointing! First they cut back from 24 hour ops to 1AM and now 11pm? I blame COVID. Anyways -- I've been to this Kroger before but I'm not super familiar with it. I still probably have to give it time but just the unfamiliarity with it docks it down a star for me. For some reason I've often thought that all Kroger stores were built the same for the most part. I went into this store and I was lost! Had to go get my second covid vaccine which I didn't get my first from this store. By the time I walked in there I had to ask where the pharmacy was. I'm used to the Kroger at Dacula Rd and I must tell you, I was really lost. I'm glad that I didn't have to shop that day because what I was used to seeing I didn't see. Very clean store I might add. From the deli to the beer and wine, everything is in different places. I guess that would take some getting used to, only if I frequented the store. read more

They are only willing to order certain "types" of medicine, not helpful if looking for and pain management, even if legally disabled with proof and having had the SAME doctor 10 yrs, and SMAE pharmacy many years, which closed unexpectedly, that they were familiar with. This Kroger for some reason thinks it's ok to have those aggressive Spectrum salesmen confront you right when you walk in the door peddling their cheap slow products. They also removed the multiple self-checks and replaced with just 3 along with 2 conveyer belts. They stack sales items right where you would need to line up for these causing a lot of confusion. So not only are there limited self-checks now, but you also have to argue with other customers about which ones you were actually standing in line for. Horrible design. Either add more selfchecks, remove that island of snacks blocking them, or open some registers. read more

I bought Coca Cola product and Water melon in this store. When I got home, since I had family visiting, I brought out water melon and coca cola product to serve them. The water melon was so old and sour that it was hard to believe that Kroger was selling such a product. All Coca Cola product was so old that product expired in 2017. Please pay attention to all Kroger product. When I went to return the product to the store, I was greeted by the customer representative Julia. When I told her about my frustration with the Kroger product, her response was. Sir i am not growing water melon and i am manufacturin Coca Cola product. You will get your money back and that's it. This individual represents Kroger. Wow, how is possible that someone like Julia can be a non-professional in such a position. Just put yourself in my position to understand the time I used to buy, to load, to drive, to unload, to serve my guests and the shame I had to go through because of Kroger products. Once again Kroger has let me down by closing several minutes before their posted time of 1 AM. I had a slight emergency and needed to get something from the pharmacy area and raced up to Kroger to get there at 12:53 AM only to discover that their doors were locked once again. I feel it is very important for stores like Kroger to maintain the Store hours that they have posted. Their customers rely on their opening and closing times and other rules. So if the employees are allowed to break those rules by closing early then the consumer confidence level regarding Kroger is going to go down. an employee at this store chased my daughter out to my car and accused her of stealing . after we emptied the contents of the bag she realized she had falsely accused her and proceeded to tell me the next time my daughter tries to purchase something and changes her mind then she needs to tell her . no apology or anything . I let her kow my daughter doesn't have to tell her anything . she didn't not take anything , she owes the store no explanation for why she changed her mind on a purchase she didn't proceed with. I kindly walk in to speak to the manager and he looks at me listens to what I have to say and just walks away and throws his hands up. again no apology . this is a 10 year old girl we are talking about that has never been in trouble in her life she was embarrassed humiliated and very shaken up by the incident. what crazy to me is even if the employee thought my daughter with shoplifting she had no right to Chase my daughter to my car and argue with me in front of the store about what she feels my daughter could have done differently . It's obvious the proper training is not given to employees. the situation could have been much worse . I am not going to allow this to happen at a store I have been giving my money to for 10 years . I shop at this Krogers frequently however I will never purchase Kroger ground Turkey again! On 2 separate occasions the meat was spoiled. I've told the manager twice and nothing was done. 3 stars for the general public area being clean and the staff being (fairly) friendly but I can't give it any more than that simply because of management & employee delegation. I feel like there is rarely ever "too many" people at this Kroger and yet the lines are consistently longer than they really need to be.. If memory serves me correct, I think they have 6 manned registers and 6 self-checkout registers. I have rarely seen more than 2 lanes open and I think I've seen the express lane open once or twice. read more

I have been in a lot of Kroger stores. I gave this store one 2 stars because it's convenient. If you are handicapped and you go there, expect a hassle getting in. All entrance/exit lanes are clocked except self-checkout and by the restrooms. I am handicapped and have learned to never enter (or exit) the store through the middle doors. Another bit of advice, do not shop in the middle of the day. Most of the aisles are blocked by pallets of merchandise. Which also means the shelves are empty until the pallets are empty sometime in the afternoon. I don't buy any produce there. I got tired of turning over produce and finding growing green stuff and mushy skin on their fruits and vegetables. One last item. Their prices are lower that most stores. read more

Several times I have sent pictures to corporate of there being no carts inside but there were plenty in the parking lot! Every time they do a reset they discontinue items I buy on a regular basis example: Williams Brothers bar-b-que sauce in the regular and Carolina versions, the K-Paul's spices, coffee mate salted caramel coffee creamer to name a few. When I need those I need to drive to Publix. If we're planning a dinner recipe, we plan an alternative because more than not, something won't be stocked and I'm talking about pre-COVID. If the lines are getting long, there is always a manager that will jump to opening up an additional line. Not an anything special kroger, but it doesn't really have to be for me, because it's clean, spacious, good customer service, and it's very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There is the large gas station others talked about, but I don't use kroger gas, although it stays busy. They do have the standard deli, but no soup or salad bars like the larger locations. I was informed AT THE CHECKOUT COUNTER last Wednesday that Kroger no longer offers the 5% discount to seniors on that day. It appears that Kroger has joined the prevailing political agenda to make life financially more difficult for our older citizens. I have shopped at this store for years, and I sent a message to company management letting them know how unfair I thought this new miserly policy was on their part (no response received to date). I hope everyone who shops at Kroger will remember how this company has made it so much harder for your grandparents and older relatives to make ends meet. It's one thing never to offer a financial benefit in the first place. It's much more egregious to take it back from people who have come to depend on it! I showed up 5 minutes after 9:00PM to pick up a prescription. The customer area was open and three workers were huddled around a computer screen towards the back of the pharmacy. I said I needed to pick up a prescription, they just smiled at me and looked at the clock and said we close at 9:00PM. That was it in a few words. No one even bothered to come up to me so I did not have to strain my ears or read their lips. what if this was an important prescription. Horrible customer service. The biggest hook for Kroger is the grocery-gas tie in. We alternate between Kroger and Publix. Both are about the same distance from home. Publix is a bit more expensive then Kroger but we think that they have a better meat section. For proteins - poultry, beef and fish - a place like Fresh Market or Whole Foods is a better suggestion although you will pay a lot more. Decent prices, 10 for 10 deals and close to home....what more do you want? read more

I love Kroger! They've really stepped up their game in the customer service department. I'd say that they are almost on par with Publix. I believe the store opens at 6 or 6:30am weekdays. Yesterday, Monday 6/12, I went in at 7:30 am to return recently purchased plastic cups. I was told the Customer Service Dept does not accept customer issues before 8:00am. I even had a stock person go into an office where someone apparently in Mgmt. confirmed to him that I would need to come back another time. I went to Publix that morning to do the shopping I was going to do at the Kroger, and while there asked if they had different hours for cust service than their store hours. They said no. Although this Kroger is the nearest grocery store to my house, I try to NEVER shop there except for when I have coupons or now, a quick Starbucks. The main reason is because of their nasty, dirty belts at the check out line. I have to constantly ask them to wash it before I set my groceries down and have talked to two different managers about how gross they are. They obviously DO NOT CARE if they are likely spreading all kinds of germs and God knows what to their customers, but more importantly DO NOT CARE if they lose customers over this or not. I'm sure if the health department checked their belts, they would have a store-wide temporary shut down until they were all cleaned to meet even minimum health standards. I asked a cashier to spray and wipe their belt the other day and although they are usually much nicer and sympathetic to the disgusting mess on their belts, saying they are "too busy" to keep them clean, the young girl, barely sprayed a small spot and thought it was good. One of the managers told me they require them to spray it down every 10 minutes, but that is a blatant lie. The cashiers told me otherwise. Why is that other Krogers, even "Frys" in Arizona, (the same company), can keep their belts clean???? This is kind of a "funky" Kroger anyway, but the BACTERIA growing on these belts is only fit for a PETRI DISH, not your kitchen counters when you take your groceries home. read more
