Almost a quarter of a thousand dollars. Back to my story... Kellen, this young, hip tech asks me if I know how much the prescription is after seeing the price tag. I respond yes. Even he is gobsmacked. Kellen asks if I have insurance. I tell him we're between jobs so not at the moment. He says he's going to try to help me and starts looking for legitimate discounts. What he actually does is put himself in someone else's shoes and then takes the time to be human. When I go to check out, the screen says $29.99. Yep. Where the US healthcare system failed, Kellen literally came to the rescue. Superheroes sometimes wear navy tech scrubs. Fancy that. Thank you, Kellen.

I needed a moment to decide whether to ask them to contact my son's doctor for an alternative medication or proceed with the prescription. Within seconds, she snapped at me, asking if I didn't see the people waiting in line behind me. I don't expect anyone to go above and beyond, but I certainly did not expect such rude comments or behavior--especially when discussing a child's medication and cost concerns. Of course if you pull off the clearance sticker and check on the Walmart app not through the actual price checker for the Walmart scan and go It usually pulls up a different price.. when you use scan and go to check out, the prices pop up with the clearance or the sale price that are sometimes not available to the general public or the national price other than the current location. This sales person took almost half of my order, put it back and would not let me purchase the items that I came for.. granted this was towards the end of the day, but this was uncalled for who peels stickers off and scans the item original barcode to see if it scans up for a sale price if they put a separate barcode on there on clearance items it usually means that that's the price that it's clearanced out. Why are you going to use the Walmart app as a price checker to see what it's so for online that makes absolutely no sense online prices are different than store prices. We are told this all the time and that's what they tell us at customer service if there's a price difference for the same exact item.. and why use my phone why can't you use a price checker in the store . My daughter was with me and she was extremely embarrassed. I know how to deal with these type things. I didn't act up in line say anything rude or hurtful, but I'm extremely disappointed with the way this cashier handled things. These days teenagers think they know everything are working jobs that they don't even get trained properly for, so sometimes you have very bad experiences. I have never experienced this at this store previously but i was not happy with this shopping trip at all!
