STAFF! This by far the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been to in my life! And there extra SLOW

I think just general incompetence and attitude that makes this location difficult . I never can have a prescription ready in time, in stock, or they say if a dr called into another cvs to call them to move it. I call the other store and they say the reverse. Did have someone today who was helpful and knowledgeable but one girl there is short with me always and acts like she hates her job and for her- find a new job. My mom lives in an assisted living 2 blocks away so I need this location so hopefully their mgt will find the right person and boot them. Same with rhe front checkout- one young man, very professional and knowledge the other girl . More interested in where her break comes and comments on the item when purchased. I don't need their opinion when purchasing things for my mom. Just my 2 cents but can't elaborate on the incompetent people without offending someone. Will have to keep using this location but not really pleased with specifically one girl in pharmacy who needs to go. read more

There is something MAJOR wrong with their pharmacy. Too many problems to mention here. Most HORIBLE experiences I've ever, ever had. Avoid 1950 Buford Hwy, Buford CVS pharmacy at all costs. I am willing to drive 11/2 hours round trip just to go back to the one I used to use. If I could scream my complaints to the world I would. Calling corporate ( 3 times) apparently does no good. They screw up everything they touch. read more

They don't answer the pharmacy line so any questions about anything you'll have to just drive on over. I've been waiting in the pharmacy line now for about 15 minutes and they let the phone ring. Good luck if you have joint pain or anything like that. You'll have to drive for an answer as the techs are extremely busy sorting pills. Extremely difficult tasks I suppose. read more

This is a drug store. What's there to say? Yeah it's clean and has all the stuff you go there to find and the employees are friendly enough, etc. BUT the one thing that gets me about this place is the birth control items (you know...THE RUBBERS) are behind a locked case. Are you kidding me? You can just drive down the street to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on highway 20 where you can easily pick them up from a shelf next to fat burning supplements and ginko biloba and other such nonsense. CVS, with the rate the kids around here get knocked up, I say put them up front by the candy bars and gum. Great idea CVS. Make the condoms difficult to access. That'll teach them to wait until marriage. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - BUFORD, Georgia

I'm changing all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy as of today. Was told on 4/4 that my child's albuterol had to be ordered and to come back on 4/5. Arrived on 4/5 and was told it was actually back ordered with no delivery date available. If this information has been communicated from the start, could have easily gotten it somewhere else. The entire interaction with not one but two employees was unprofessional. Offered zero help. Made zero apologies for the inconvenience, bad information and lack of meds. Meanwhile this medication is for breathing - kind of important - and a little consideration from a pharmacist would have been appreciated. read more

This place is the worst! Last month I felt like I should count my capsules before I started taking them. The bottle was 3 short out my 90 capsules. I called CVS and went up to the pharmacy and they gave me the 3 capsules. I thought maybe.. just maybe it was an accident. Today I just started taking a new bottle of capsules that I picked up two days ago and once again it's 3 capsules short. Either the person filling the bottles can only count to 87 or this place is cheating people out of their medicine/money. Count your pills/capsules people! I will be moving my prescription to another pharmacy. read more

I would never go to the Minute Clinic in CVS ever again. I was greatly mis-prescribed. I was given a scrip for an anti-biotic that was very closely related to an anti-biotic I told the NP I was allergic to. This caused me to have an allergic reaction AND develop a secondary infection. I only went here instead of my regular doctor because I was in an extreme amount of pain, and my regular doctor was closed due to snow. When I went to my regular doctor 2 days later, she could not believe what I had been prescribed, and told me to stop taking them immediately. read more

My neighborhood pharmacy - I always get great service, every time I get my prescriptions filled. Today however it was NOT GREAT! IT WAS AWESOME! Special gratitude goes to Angelia, and co-workers. She went above and beyond to help me save on my EPI Pen prescription and even though I have insurance and taking the generic brand it was still expensive co-pay! After Angelia found a coupon to greatly reduce the out of pocket co-pay, let's just say that it cost me less than an expensive cup of JOE at that place we all know! This review is for the MinuteClinic. Went for an appointment about a swollen tonsil which was sore (I have had a history of tonsillitis since I was a child). I went to try to get antibiotics (felt just like strep) and was told it was viral (had no symptoms of it being viral.) Was told to treat symptoms and was sent home. Decided to get a Covid test just in case. Negative. Three days later my other tonsil swells and the pain was the worst I've ever felt. Couldn't sleep, eat, drink, and it was getting difficult to breathe. Called the MinuteClinic doctor back explaining what was happening and she then sounded irritated that I called in the first place and told me that it must be covid because their test for strep was negative and that would be the only reason it would be getting worse. I told her my covid test was negative then told me that the covid test isn't always accurate(??) She told me that if it was so hard to breathe I should go to a hospital. Interrupted me multiple times on the phone and was very snappy. Ended up going straight to an ENT Specialist (since I am self pay I didn't need a referral) and he didn't even need to test and said it was strep! He said he was surprised to hear about how that doctor acted and that Since 7 days had passed she should've prescribed me antibiotics. Now Three days later on antibiotics I'm already feeling so much better. No thanks to MinuteClinic. read more

They charged $139 for a simple office visit. They advertise $99. That's a big baloney.

I can not possibly believe people write these negative replies about this CVS. They must work at the Walgreens up the street (the one where you wait hours, not minutes at the pharmacy). This is the most fantastic, friendliest store I have ever been to in my life. The pharmacists, Abla and Jina are terrific times 100!!!!!!!!!, Miss Heather, Octavia, Miss Mary -everyone there greets me by name, goes out of their way to assist me. Do me a favor--try them again. Remember-no one is perfect--but try them again. read more

Most of the time it's a great experience to shop here. At times they may yell "HELLO WELCOME TO CVS, CAN I HELP YOU FIND SOMETHING!" Sometimes there is a line of people when the do this and everyone turns to wait for your reply. Gheez, I feel like saying "Yeah, just looking for some itch cream, beer, condoms, and a pregnant test." Anyway, some people might be shy or not in a good mood. I suggest they don't ask if they can help you find something and just greet only. This is also rude to the person they're already helping. They need undivided attention until they leave the counter. read more

Terrible. This pharmacy seems to have constant issues with supply. I have to believe it's the store not their pharma distributor, Cardinal Health. I needed a drug they don't stock and they would need to request it. 24 hours later(the promised time), I go back and they did not get it from Cardinal. No excuse as to why ( note that I used their text app to confirm my request for the drug and I called and spoke to a pharma tech as well). So today, the tech called a nearby cvs and they had the drug. I asked if that was where my drug was sent, in error. The tech said, no, that the location he was sending my prescription to had the drug..WHAT!!!! Then Why in the world did you not send me there 26 hours ago when I first inquired about the prescription???? Thank goodness the acute condition for which I need the med isn't life threatening... while I feel like death, I think I will survive the extra 26 hours of yuck until I get my first dose.
