Sit down before you read this bc I'm about to blow up this CVS pharmacy tech with glitter, confetti and a David Blaine-when-he-floated-above-the-clouds bundle of balloons level rave review. I walked in to pick up my husband's prescription, warned by him that the prescription was going to be expensive. What he did tell me was that it was a tiny mortgage at $244.00. You read that right. Almost a quarter of a thousand dollars. Back to my story... Kellen, this young, hip tech asks me if I know how much the prescription is after seeing the price tag. I respond yes. Even he is gobsmacked. Kellen asks if I have insurance. I tell him we're between jobs so not at the moment. He says he's going to try to help me and starts looking for legitimate discounts. What he actually does is put himself in someone else's shoes and then takes the time to be human. When I go to check out, the screen says $29.99. Yep. Where the US healthcare system failed, Kellen literally came to the rescue. Superheroes sometimes wear navy tech scrubs. Fancy that. Thank you, Kellen. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - SUWANEE, Georgia

I went to fill my son's prescription today and was met with a terribly rude attitude from the female pharmacist. The copay came out to $200, and when I asked about using GoodRx, it only reduced the price by $50. I needed a moment to decide whether to ask them to contact my son's doctor for an alternative medication or proceed with the prescription. Within seconds, she snapped at me, asking if I didn't see the people waiting in line behind me. I don't expect anyone to go above and beyond, but I certainly did not expect such rude comments or behavior--especially when discussing a child's medication and cost concerns. I will never go back here. read more

I left a vm regarding getting some clarification on renewals for a couple of prescriptions. The pharmacist called me back and I was able to learn what I needed to do. When I started to ask my second question, she said "Sorry but I'm on break, can you call me back?" My entire with her on the phone was less than 3 minutes, I looked at my watch which said 1:31. Why did she call me at 1:29 if she couldn't answer both of my questions? This particular pharmacist has been rude to me before. While overall I have had good experiences with the staff at this location, I am looking into transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens. This woman needs customer service training and perhaps to look into a new profession that doesn't require interaction with customers! read more

If I could give no stars I would. The pharmacist here is Fatima and she refuses to help. She tells you to "call your insurance company." She has the information but won't share it. I have never seen a pharmacy run this poorly. Rude, arrogant and incompetent. I called my insurance company and it took hours to find out what any competent pharmacist would know. It's always empty when good pharmacies have people lined up waiting for service. It's slow for a reason. Go anywhere but here. read more

I need to get a few prescriptions filled tonight after being seen by the mimic clinic. The medication I needed was very important due to having asthma and the pharmacist on shift stated she didn't want or feel like filling my medication and told me to come back tomorrow, I went to get the nurse from the minic clinic and she stated that she still had time to fill the medication. The pharmacist stated again she wasn't filling it. So I now had to take a uber to another pharmacy to get my medication and get another uber to get home. This was very unacceptable and costly for myself to have to go to another pharmacy when I was right at CVS for my appointment. I would like a manager to get in touch with me regarding this matter. Staffed by morons. Even when I get the notification that a prescription is ready twice in a row I have waited over half an hour while in a rush for a simple prescription pickup. The place was empty as well. No sense of urgency or apology, they always make me contact my doctor, despite the problem on their end. I'm going to start going to a different pharmacy despite this one being right by my house because I'm convinced it won't take as long. read more

Pharmacist needs to go back to school- had the audacity to argue what the prescription CLEARLY stated. I went to another CVS to get assistance and they read the RX correctly. Horrible pharmacy. No way to get through over the phone, just goes to voicemail and says they'll call you back in 'as soon as an hour'. They also charged me double shipping for two medications because they couldn't 'combine the order' in their system. read more

COVID testing - BEWARE Their sign are quite confusing. They have 2 types of COVID, on site and by the drive through. If you sign up, that would be the drive through. However, the first sign tells you to park your car in the 2 COVID testing place which are actually on site, so, if you have not gotten your coffee, you might wait a while before realizing that you are at the wrong place. I tell (kind of yell too, sorry) that to the manager but he did not seem to care much. I will not expect any improvement in the signing. In Short, go straight to the drive through. read more

This is the worst minute clinic I've ever visited. The black woman treating me kept shaking as she stuck the needle in my arm and it fell out while I bled all over the floor. She claims that she had been doing this for years but could barely even find my vein let alone take blood samples properly. I will never return here and I strongly recommend going somewhere else especially for a service that requires needles. read more

It's still the worst. 5-7 day COVID test in July took two WEEKS which is totally useless. 2-3 day COVID test in December -- the pharmacist mixed the labels on our tests so my vial was in my wife's bag and vice versa. Three days later (12/17) they called to say they couldn't process because of the mixup. I could reschedule. Obviously every time was now gone until Christmas. THE WORST. read more

Horrible customer service here. Here's the way I see things- it's easy to be kind to customers when there's no problem at hand. It's far more difficult to be kind when problems arise due to unforeseen circumstances. I'm not from this area, but I stopped by this CVS to pick up some stuff. I had four coupons, too. One of the coupons I had wasn't working, so my cashier deleted everything and reapplied the coupons. The second time, all four coupons were accepted but my purchase was $3 higher than the previous time. I asked my cashier to re-do what she had done before. She looked at me in shock and said there was no way she could re-do what she did before (all she had to do was delete the purchase-- I hadn't even paid for anything yet!). Throughout this, I apologized multiple times, and said I understood it was difficult since I had experience with registers being hard to work with. Not even once did she acknowledge my apology, and her tone was very cold when she spoke with me. Okay, maybe she's young, and this might (understandably) be frustrating her. Her supervisor came over and his attitude was even worse than her's. He didn't even look up, and he didn't bother to hear me explain the issue to him. Keep in mind, there were two employees in the front who were both on their own register. The 2nd employee (I'm guessing the supervisor) was standing idle while my cashier accumulated a line behind her. A Sunday evening isn't the most fun time to be working, but keeping a positive attitude makes anything better. This location failed miserably at that. One positive thing- the restrooms were pretty clean from what I saw. I think they improved in the past three years? read more

Great customer service I came in to find something to help my two year old with her allergies and decided to ask the pharmacist for his advice. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. He helped me to find the most natural product I could use since my daughter is only two. Also the manager assisted in helping locate a couple items as well he was nice too. read more

Very friendly and clean. I feel safe shopping here. Why? With worry about spread of disease, I saw the staff was wearing masks and were wiping (sanitizing) down the self checkout after other customer used it. Nowhere else is this being done!!! The bathroom was very clean as well. The whole store smelled clean and sanitized. I wish other stores were this serious about keeping customers safe from spread of the virus. Excellent and I mean Excellent Customer/Patient Care and service! Came in yesterday mid afternoon to get a Sports Physical (last minute), for tryouts today!, at CVS Minute Clinic Laurel Springs. Ms. Laura helped first with checking us in let us know exactly what we would need and what to expect step by step, she didn't miss a thing, did some testing, Laura was so professional, kind and personable she wished my teenager Good Luck, she shared profound and warm good ol southern advice! In the sincerest way, Thank you Ms. Laura! Then for the physical, saw Ms. Jennifer Kang, P.A. Very Professional straight up to the point, the best sense of humor! , very informative and thorough. Ms. Jennifer Kang, too, wished my teenager Good Luck, shared a warm wonderful bit of advice for tryouts and furthermore, all future endeavors! In the sincerest way, Thank you Ms. Jennifer Kang! Every time I go to the pharmacy I wait in line forever and when I finally get up to the window...they always have a reason to tell me that mine is not ready or they forgot to apply a coupon so that I'm suppose to drive around and get to the end of the line while they do whatever .
